Nestled in the tranquil Cape Shores community, this spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is just a 4-minute walk to the Cape Shores Lewes Bay Beach, Pool*, Fishing Pier, and Pickleball/Tennis Courts. No need to leave the neighborhood or cross busy streets to enjoy everything Vitamin Sea has to offer.

Your Vacation Home
This expansive, open-floor-plan home in the Cape Shores community of Lewes Bay Beach comfortably sleeps 8 to 10 guests. It offers ample privacy and space with four bedrooms and a family room.

Multi-Level Comfort
The home features multiple levels, each designed to cater to different needs and activities:

Lower Level: Queen bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower/tub combo).

Main Level: This level includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room, half bath, and primary bedroom (king bed with en suite bathroom featuring a shower and tub). An elevated family room with a TV and pull-out couch provides extra lounging space.

Upper Level: There is a queen bedroom and another bedroom with two double queen bunk beds. Both bedrooms are separated by a full bath.

Front Porch: Ideal for evening conversations.
Back Porch: Screened with seating for six.
Back Deck: Overlooks a pond and offers seating for eight.
Outdoor Shower: Perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

A bike path located one block behind Vitamin Sea allows easy access to town or Cape Henlopen State Park, which features Atlantic Ocean access, surf fishing, and miles of trails for running, walking, and biking. Use our provided beach cruisers to explore!

Great trip!

Love the house and location. Plenty of spaces for us to spread out when we needed alone time! Very convenient to the beach, park, bike trails, and town. Erin is a great a host!

Great house- Great location

This house seems to have everything , including bikes for the areas many bike trails. The pool and bayside beach is less than a 5 minute walk. It’s a homey place and very well maintained.

Great Home for a family vacation

Beautiful home in a great location. All the amenities without the crazy crowds. Bay beach and pool are great for little ones. We found plenty of toys, games, books, and beach supplies available for our use. Sean and Erin were very responsive . Looking forward to booking again next year!

Perfect vacation

We had a truly perfect vacation at Vitamin Sea. The house was beautiful, immaculate and had everything we needed. Erin was so kind, helpful and responsive. Cape shores is lovely. We enjoyed the bay and the pool. The proximity to Cape Henlopen and the bikes path was amazing. We couldn’t have had a nicer time and wish we were still there!!!

Family vacation

We had an amazing week at Vitamin Sea in Lewes Everyone in our family loved it. The house, neighborhood, and amenities exceeded all expectations. We road bikes, walked through town, visited the historical society, ate great food, and had a chance to be together. Our granddaughters are already asking when we can go back. Thanks so much, Erin, for making your home available for us.

lovely, comfortable and highly equipped home

this home measures up to its description. Home is very spacious, lovely decorated with high quality art, comfortable furniture, comfortable beds (and I'm very picky about beds being firm yet soft). Loved the screened in porch and front decks for lounging. Tv's in every room; lots of games and books. Used the kayaks and paddle board and bikes. Kitchen well equipped. Owner very responsive. Hope to stay here again next 2023.

See Vitamin Sea!

This is a spacious, spotlessly clean home a short walk from the Delaware Bay at Lewes Beach. The 10 members of our extended family had plenty of space. The Cape Shores location provided a large pool for our grandson & others to relax. We were thankful for the ground level home access with the ramp, easy for child strollers or others who need easy access. Vitamin Sea provided kayaks for our use and it’s location so close to Cape Henlopen State Park provided the amazing trails for biking, running and walking just yards away! We had a great time at Vitamin Sea and strongly recommend it as a family-friendly vacation home!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great week at this wonderful house. Erin could not have been more accommodating in dealing with COVID, but also so helpful with lists of restaurant recommendations. All communications with her were answered very quickly. The house has everything you need and more - beach chairs, umbrellas etc. The location of the house is a quick three minute walk to the beach and pier, and only one minute to the pool. The screened porch is shady all day and catches all the breezes. Just perfection! Thank you so much. Can't wait for our next trip!!

Fantastic

Vitamin Sea is the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. It was our first time vacationing in Lewes, DE so we didn't truly know what to expect and both Eric and Sean's home and the area exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is in meticulous condition and fit our two families extremely well. The close proximity to the Bay Beach, Fishing Pier and community pool was perfect, especially with small children. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the bay beach! The calm water, the sand bar, the kayaks, the fishing pier, there was something that pleased everyone in our group. We also biked to Lewes and explored town, it's fantastic. We loved the quaint downtown and exploring the shops, parks and boats. Weekend Rental in Lewes, DE

We recently rented this house in Lewes, DE for a long weekend getaway with our friends and our children. One of the major advantages of the house was its proximity to a private beach. It made it incredibly convenient for our families with young children to access the beach without any hassle. We appreciated not having to travel far to enjoy the sun, sand, and waves. The house was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. Additionally, the presence of a Weber grill was a nice touch and allowed us to have enjoyable cookouts. The screened-in porch provided a lovely space where we could relax, enjoying the beautiful view of the pond nearby. The rental also included beach equipment and bikes, which added an extra element of fun for both the adults and the kids. A few things to note, though. With only one dish washer pod provided, we had to purchase additional pods to ensure we could clean all our dishes properly. Because replacement trash bags were not provided, we had to purchase additional bags. While we were aware of having to bring our own towels and linens prior to our arrival, it still added an extra level of preparation and packing for our trip. It would have been a nice touch to have basic toiletries like shampoo and conditioner available, especially for guests who were traveling from a distance or simply preferred not to bring their own. Overall, we had a wonderful time and created lasting memories.

We loved our stay at Vitamin Sea! We were 3 families and there was plenty of room. It was quiet, but close to everything we wanted to do. The kids loved the bay. There were horseshoe crabs and other wildlife galore that the kids had a blast identifying. It was a 1 minute drive to Cape Henlopen state park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Weekend Stay

The house was great, in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to the bayside and state park for beach access, had everything we could have ever needed in the kitchen and was great for family gatherings. Loved the bikes and not having to bring our own beach chairs! Lv Only downside was that the cleaners were still in the house for about 30 minutes after our check in time due to a hiccup with the laundry. They were very kind about it, worked diligently but didn’t cut any corners, and we were able to enjoy the outdoor space while we waited.

Great house, great location

The home is as beautifully appointed as the description reads — and it feels much bigger than the photos! We stayed here with 6 adults, a toddler, and a baby and the bedrooms on three separate floors allowed everyone their own space. Plus, you can’t beat the location of this place — a few doors down from the pool, a quick walk to the bay, a 2 minute drive to Cape Henlopen beaches, and a 5 minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Family Stay at Lewes Beach

My family and I enjoyed every minute of our trip to Vitamin Sea. Erin is a wonderful host. The house is a very short walk to the excellent community pool, the gorgeous bayside beach with shallow water and gentle waves that are perfect for young kids, and the community's fishing pier. The entrance to Cape Henlopen State Park is around the corner, which offers great day trips to bay and ocean beaches, bike trails, hiking trails, and more. Every aspect of the house aligned with the description and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to coming back next year!

Our Lewes "home"

We are two seniors, four young adults and a six year old, and this house suits us perfectly. I love breakfast on the screened porch overlooking the pond. The "kids" love the easy access to the pool across the street, and we all spend time at both bay and beach. The Vitamin Sea kitchen is so well equipped and nicely organized, it's a pleasure to cook. With bikes and beach chairs, plus linens provided, it's a vacation dream. Five stars all around!

Wonderful house for family vacation.

Lovely, comfortable house loaded with amenities. Steps to the community pool, and Cape Henlopen State Park, plus the beach and fishing pier. Charming nearby downtown Lewes is minutes by car or bike. The toddler loved the Pirate Ship cruise in Lewes, especially aiming water cannons at the “bad” pirate.

Great family trip

The home is beautiful, and has everything needed for a fun family gathering. The kitchen is stocked with cooking necessities, and the house supplies games, bikes, and access to the pool or the bay. The host was accessible for questions, and very helpful. The town is quaint, and the shops offered quality products at affordable prices. All around wonderful place to visit with a large group.

Awesome Vacation Home

The house is truly a beautiful vacation home! It’s everything that my family wanted - well designed/organized, access to beach and community club pool plus all fun amenities such as bikes, beach chairs, family games! I just feel bad for the owners that I have to give a 4-star on cleanliness because of wrongdoings by previous renters that was not caught by inspection prior to our arrival. The dishwasher was smelly and was not unloaded. The grill was dirty and we could not open the valve to get the fire started. There were instructions on all of these but previous renters did not follow.
