Gather your friends and family together for an unforgettable vacation at this Air-Conditioned spacious home. This six bedroom, four bath mountain home in Shaver Lake promises for an unforgettable retreat. Get away from the hustling city with your own 6 Bedroom house, game room and stunning views off the back deck to gaze at the stars and endless trees in a peaceful outdoor space as well as a front deck to sit and relax the day away. This Timber Ridge retreat is close to the lake, town and slopes for year-round entertainment.

Enjoy this home in the winter and watch the kids sled off the back deck (or adults) and barbecue on the weber grill... on the large lot with a snow park in the back yard. One of the best areas for sledding in town! In the summer hike around the area on some of the trails or hop in the car and see some of the more remote areas. Or simply stay at home and watch the herd of deer walk up and graze near the back fire pit.

This home is perfect for large family gatherings or multiple family vacations to share the love and bonding with your nearest and dearest as we have. If you should have any questions, please inquire and we will do our best to meet all of your expectations that this cozy timber ridge cabin has to offer.

WHOLE HOUSE FAN & Air conditioning was added for the rare heat wave. Turn the fan on first thing in the morning and make the entire house low 60 degrees and be cool all day.

In Winter (Oct-Mar) outdoor couches and tables are put away and stored to protect against weather damage.

Perfect Weekend Stay

My friends and I stayed at this cabin for a weekend in the mountains and hit the slopes 30 minutes away at China Peak. It was a beautiful home and very comfortable for a home base. The location was amazing, quiet, and secluded. I would 100% recommend and return here for another stay.

Amazing & Super clean!

We had a great time at this cabin! Many things for the kids to do and lots of space to spread out. It was super clean, decorated very nice, made you feel at home. We hope to be planning another stay soon!

House was beautiful

Family trip

Shaver Lake Trip

We had a great time, house was very roomy and provided lots of space for the kids to play. House was clean and had all the essentials needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Weekend exploring

Very Clean and Gorgeous Cabin

This is the second year I have booked this cabin for others to stay for their yearly retreat. I sincerely enjoy working with this owner and VRBO. Very professional and property is super clean and is enjoyed every time. Highly recommend the property and its centrally located.

Best rental ever

We have stayed at several properties in the Shaver area, never one as clean and luxurious as this. My wife raved about the jetted tub in the master bath. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing Cabin!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! There was plenty of room for our large family gathering! The cabin is very clean and well taken care of! The pictures do not do it justice! The owners were so wonderful! We definitely enjoyed our vacation!

Beautiful mountain getaway

This cabin was beautiful! The lay out was perfect for a few families to share. Our kids enjoyed having the downstairs bedrooms and game room to themselves. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Thank you again for opening up your home to us.

Fun filled weekend

An amazing stay in shaver, the cabin was very spacious enough for all our friends and family. Down stairs area served great for kids hang out while the top floor worked well for the adults and babies. Great location, close to the store and a short drive to the resort. Plenty of parking for vehicles and a perfect hillside to sled and occupy the kids. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Fabulous family vacation

Three generations. Wonderful home. Our goal was Yosemite but the Shaver Lake area also proved perfect for fun family activity. House was great. Plenty of space, equipment, chairs, beds, etc. owners were gracious, helpful, and generous.

Beautiful home, perfect for famly getaway!

We stayed in this home with my parents and brother and his family. It was such a lovely home! It was decorated for Christmas, which was a fun touch. It had everything that we needed in the kitchen. The big game room with shuffleboard was great fun, and perfect for the small kids to hang out. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

A great second time at Shaver Lake cabin!

Hello! We spent a long weekend in Shaver Lake at this awesome (huge) cabin. We were accompanied by 3 other families and spent our days snowboarding at China Peak. We plan to do it again next year! The house is perfect-- good proximity to China Peak, separate downstairs hang out area for kids, huge dining table for big family dinners, great sledding hill next to the house and much more. See you next year!

Great time in the snow

We had a wonderful trip to Shaver Lake! The house was perfect for our group of 4 families (6 elementary age children). The kids loved sledding next to the house, there was plenty of room for everyone to be together or have some space, it was great to send kids downstairs when they wanted to be rowdy and play, there were lots of great games and toys onsite. We snowboarded at China Peak (30-40 min away depending on road conditions). It is an awesome, large cabin. We are already talking about booking next winter!

Enjoyed our stay

The house was great for our entire family of 12. We did a couple hikes, and tried our luck fishing. I think Summer months we will have to try Shaver again, as there is not that much to do in the Winter months. My only complaint, and the host did previously warn me was they only provide a starter kit of toiletries. We did have to go out and purchase paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap.

Ideal cabin for big families!

Beautiful cabin, ideal for large families!! The house had plenty of space with room to spare for our family - 5 adults and 5 children. The house was super clean, cozy with 3 fireplaces, and the setup was ideal. The upper four has 4 large bedrooms and the bottom floor has a large game room flanked by two rooms with lots of beds (3 queens in one and 2 bunk beds in the other). Our favorite part of the house was the sledding in the backyard - fun was had by everyone - kids & adults! Great place for large families with children - we will definitely stay here again!

Great house for multiple families

This was a great house with plenty of space for our group of 4 families with young children (ages 1-6). Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook all of our meals. The house was very clean. The kids loved having the downstairs play area. Bedrooms all had space for a pack n play. For future guests I recommend communicating about the check in process ahead of time. We were skiing at China peak without reception before check in, which complicated things. Also, there is no soap, shampoo, etc provided so make sure to bring your own.

Beautiful cabin experience with all of the modern luxuries.

I was lucky enough to stay in this beautiful home for an extended weekend during the late summer of 2018. Although fires were raging in Northern California, we found solace in this spacious home. We were one family, but this property could easily support multiple large groups comfortably -- We certainly felt spoiled! Not only does the home have a variety of great bedrooms outfitted for children and adults, it is hardly a 5 minute drive from the heart of Shaver and only a few more minutes to the Marina. This is a prime location for a Shaver lake getaway. My personal favorite aspects of the home were the kitchen and super fast WiFi connection. After long days on the lake, we enjoyed ultra HD streaming on their many TVs. For us, it was a perfect balance of a nature getaway and modern convenience. We will definitely be back!

Nice property, difficult owner

The home is very nice. The beds were just ok. The owner was difficult to work with. Not enough towels or trash bags, lost his mind over a few extra kids. I'm sure he'll have a long complaining response to this review detailing the horrors of having too many guests using his silverware and flushing his toilets too many times. Has the entire property under excessive camera surveillance, felt less-than-private. At some point, you're renting a property and yes, people will in fact stay in it. I would not recommend working with this owner despite the fact that it is a lovely home and location. We saw some of the previous negative reviews and the owner's lengthy rebuttals and thought perhaps the renters had been unreasonable. Turns out the common thread is definitely the owner. First negative experience I've ever had after renting a dozen or so VRBO properties.
