This beautiful, 5 bedroom 5 bath home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood off of Appleridge subdivision. If you are looking for nature and peacefulness, you are staying at the BEST PLACE. We are at 5500 ft elevation, so it allows you to see the stars at such a clear view at night. Every time we are in shaver, we don't ever want to come back home. Such clean air and beautiful nature. Hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. #1 thing make yourself at home and embrace the beautiful nature.
The space
In our subdivision, we have a man made pond for children to fish and picnic tables for our guest to enjoy. We also have a walking trail 3 minutes up the road of little field. If you would like to go grab something to eat instead of cooking, you could also drive down to our Shaverlake downtown. It's about 3 miles from our home. You will find plenty of groceries stores, gas station, gift shops and many more.

Guest access
Our home, for entertainment, we have pool table on the bottom third floor, shuffleboard and foosball table on the top floor and outside we have horseshoe pit for our guest to enjoy. ADouble deck with plenty of room for gatherings, barbecues and beautiful views. We also have a neighborhood pond, down the street for kids to go fishing. (It is a catch and release area only). We have BOAT PARKING available on property. Plenty of room for numerous cars and boats. (Please be respectful of our things and our neighborhood. Absolutely No outdoor loud noise after 10pm.)

Other things to note
Please NO SHOES in the house. NO ANIMALS ALLOW. NO PARTY ALLOW. NO SMOKING in the house. When using BBQ grill, please make sure, you clean it after every use. All trash need to be disgard, in a tightly close trash bag and put it in the large trash bin. If it's full find one area in the garage to put it where the housekeeper can pick up. We supply enough paper towels and toilet paper for your stay.
***MAKE SURE WHEN USING BBQ GRILL. MOVE THE GRILL AWAY FROM THE HOUSE.*** Thanks

The host was amazing! My first adventure with chains and it was a beautiful stay with my family. Winter wonderland. I would recommend staying there to all.

Fantastic place

We loved staying here. Lots of things inside for everyone to do and great outdoor opportunity to go for walks or hang out on the patio etc. it was exactly what we were looking for.

Great stay

We had such a great time at this house with our college friends. It’s a beautiful wide open house with a huge kitchen and tons of space and things to do. The overall location was great and we went out and adventures each day with fun things to do all around the area. Would stay here again for sure!

The home has a kitchen to die for… We had a large group and we loved that there was a bathroom for all 5 bedrooms… We would love to stay there again!

The space itself is as pictured with great outdoor spaces and plenty of room to hang out with big groups. Unfortunately, we arrived to broken futons, no additional bedding for futon type beds, not enough towels (which host did remedy location of extra towels, but we had to wash them before use because they were not clean. Broken screens and light bulbs and cabinets ... just a lot of things needing to be repaired or maintained (as is required of large homes). There was trash spread in garage and mouse droppings throughout the house including a mouse in one of the rooms. We had to catch and release! It seemed like maybe someone cleaned after the last renter but maybe it was sitting for a while? And no one cleaned before we came. Not sure. But, cleanliness and maintenance were not great. Would give 5 stars for location and largeness of space. 2 stars for cleanliness and dealing with broken beds and not as many beds or bedding as advertised.

Family Shaver Lake trip

Huge home with multiple family activities and just a short drive to the lake. Large kitchen whuch is ideal for meal prep. Outside bbq was lacking, but did nothing to quell family vacation.

Awesome Cabin for Larger Groups!

Honestly l, this is probably the best cabin we have been to over the years we have done the annual winter retreat! Plenty of space, entertainment, and parking availability. Being able to use the garage was a HUGE plus as we could not only unload much closer, we could keep the cars safe and in close proximity. I have no negative comments, thank you SO much for letting us stay we hope to rent again next year!

The house was spacious, well-laid-out, and very comfortable for our family stay. We genuinely enjoyed the space and the amenities provided, which worked well for our group.During our stay, we noticed some pre-existing maintenance issues, including minor wear on the cabinets and refrigerator. We also encountered a rodent, which we documented with video. Because we were there to celebrate our children’s birthdays, we chose not to contact the host at the time so as not to disrupt our celebration.We did find droppings in some of the kitchen cabinets and on cookware (pots, pans, and bowls). If you plan to use the kitchen appliances and cabinets, we recommend checking them carefully before use.After our stay, we received a claim for damages that we did not cause. To help future guests avoid similar misunderstandings regarding pre-existing wear or pest-related issues, we recommend taking photos or videos of the property at check-in and checkout.Overall, it is a lovely property, but future guests should be aware of the maintenance and pest-related issues we experienced.

Most horrible guest we ever had!! Did almost 5000 of damage. They broke cabinet doors handles. Tore off trim from the mirrors. Broke trim along the stair case and destroyed brand new molding. Left trash all over the place!!

Lovely location and spacious home

We had a great weekend of outdoor adventures and XC skiing. The home was spacious and kitchen was very large. Sven was easy to reach with any questions we had and responded quickly. There are beds to sleep 14 people and 2 full out futon couches for the other 3 if you plan to have the full 17 people. The host doesn’t supply any common pantry supplies. Be sure to bring you own salt, foil, ziplock bags or other things you may need. There are some random spices and oils left from guests and we did leave a new salt shaker!

Shaver Lake Family Holiday

We were so fortunate to have rented this property. It is located in a very beautiful area of Shaver Lake. The magnificent views from the kitchen window and dining areas are unforgettable. We were all comfortable because of how spacious it was. The kitchen was equipped with everything that one may need for a big group. There were available indoor games and game tables. Each of the five bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Everyone in our family had a wonderful time including our 5 year old granddaughter. Sven, the owner, was very nice and accommodating. He replied to our communication promptly. He was also very appreciative of how we left the cabin as beautiful and as orderly as how we found it. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Get a way

The house was beautiful and spacious! The amenities in the kitchen weren’t up to par. They stated it slept 17 but only had 9 forks and 6 spoons and 6 drinking glasses so we had to wash utensils every time we ate which was a bit of a hassle. Other small problems were the stopper in the bathroom sink didn’t work, hairdryer didn’t work and the bbq grill was dirty. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this cabin even with the inconveniences.

Thank you so much for the info. We will replace the utensils and glasses. They go missing and glasses get broken. Sorry for that. The sink stopper is being replaced. Please inform us next time right away and I’ll have plumber come bye and can have glasses and utensils delivered to you. Thank you again for the info.

Prettiest place ever! Unfortunate weather weekend

This property was absolutely amazing in every way. I was astonished at how nice it was when we walked through the door. It was nicer than it appeared even on VRBO. The kitchen was to die for. So many amenities, and beautiful windows to look out. The host was so easy to get ahold of and very friendly at all times. The only downfall here was out of anyone's control...the weather was treacherous that weekend and none of my friends were able to make it up, as they closed the road righter after myself and 3 kids made it up. I don't think that is the norm. That was a huge disappointment, but again, nobody's fault. We are determined to stay here again so that we can all enjoy this beautiful place together as planned!

Overall, we were able to enjoy our time together as a family but we did not agree with the previous ratings/reviews. Upon arrival, we looked over the property and the railing on the porch/balcony is not safe. I would not allow our little children to go out on the porch without an adult as a safety precaution. We also were never able to find remotes to the tvs nor were the bedrooms very clean. The blankets and sheets were dirty. We could literally feel the dirt on them. There were not enough extra pillows and blankets, nor were there enough towels. While the home did accommodate our family in terms of space, it is in need of some maintenance and cleaning. Additionally, the thermostats were locked to 74 &73 degrees and we had elderly people, one of whom suffers from COPD, which gets worse when he gets hot. Also, the skillets and pans need to be replaced as the Teflon is falling apart. While we enjoyed our time in Shaver Lake, we would not recommend staying here.

Wow!! We take pride in our cabin and cleaning. The only thing you contacted me about was extra blankets for the extra guests you had that were not authorized. I sent over our cleaner to get you extra blankets anyways. That is all you ever told us. So I’m kind of confused of your review.

This home was huge and a good size for our group of 14 (11 adults and 3 children). We specifically booked this house because of the A/C and the proximity to the lake. We loved the large kitchen, the fact that every room had a bathroom and the large windows/views from the home. The fire pit and outdoor eating area on the lower deck was a plus.A few things that could have been better....The owners asked that we take shoes off in the house, however when we walked around without shoes our feet/socks got so dirty from the floors that we all ended up wearing shoes in the house. Also, the A/C worked great in the bedrooms however the main living space/great room did not cool down. In addition, the A/C units were set to shut off each day at 10am and 10pm so when we left the house in the morning we came back to a very warm house. Also, if you went to bed before 10pm it shut off and the bedrooms got super hot. We did use the outdoor bbq and it was clear it hadn't been cleaned in a really long time. It was dangerous and could have started a grease fire if you weren't careful. Lastly, the trash cans were really full and the dishwasher was full of dishes from the previous guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price point of this home we were a little disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the home.

Thank you for the review. We are sorry the cleaners did not clean grill or empty the dishwasher. We have since hired a new cleaning crew and we take top priority on cleanliness of our cabin. The thermostats are preprogrammed. They can be overridden by adjusting temperature. Please in future relay the problems to us. Great for groups

We celebrated an early Christmas with 2 large families. The house was perfect for large families with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The Christmas tree was perfect to have too. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing

Was a perfect place. Fit for all ages. Kids all enjoyed the gaming stuff. Even though a 3 story was not bad at all with going up and down the stairs. Close to town but couldn't tell.

A large luxurious home with lots of amenties. Large Gourmet Kitchen with all apliances that you would need. Top floor has 2 master bedrooms with large master baths in both. 2 rooms downstairs and game room. Kids can be downstairs and away from adults for some quiet time. The 2 bedrooms downstair have own bathrooms, plus in room vanities with sinks. Just up the road there are hiking trails to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The neighborhood has its own pond also.
