Beautiful 2BR/2BA - DOG FRIENDLY -- Great LOW Rates

2BR/2BA condo on the mountain golf course in the Wintergreen Resort. The condo has a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and bunk beds in the second bedroom, a patio overlooking the golf course, and a fireplace (with firewood provided). Direct TV and high speed fiber optic WIFI are included.

This gorgeous condo is located in the Tanner's Ridge Condominiums at the top of a mountain and is part of The Wintergreen Resort. This four-season destination resort is on 11,000 acres and is adjacent to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and 45 miles from Charlottesville. (1.5 hours from Richmond and 3 hours from DC)

The resort offers 45 holes of golf, 24 ski and snow board trails, 24 tennis courts (3 indoor), 5 swimming pools, Camp Wintergreen Child Care and Activity Programs, a 20-acre lake for fishing, swimming and boating, The Wintergreen Tennis Academy, 30 miles of hiking trails, organized nature programs, horseback riding, the Wintergarden Spa, road and mountain bikes, and great restaurants.

Ski get away

Great property. Lots of room for a family even though it was just me and my son we enjoyed the extra space. Quiet. Nice field behind to walk dogs. We met de friendly dogs for mini play times too. Owner is very responsive.

The gentleman that owns this place allows pets

This condo is right on the fairway of the golf course and has nice walking paths. Only minutes away from the main resort for winter skiing makes it easy. If you are a mountain biker in the off season of skiing the resort offers some really great trails. As a person with I a family with pets this place is perfect. Don’t worry about cooking because there are plenty of places to eat on and off the mountain but if you like to cook this condo has a fully stocked kitchen. My only concern would be if you are a family with special needs this place may not be for you, there is two flights of stairs.

Tanners Creek

Condo offers a good layout and good value for the rate. Kitchen is well stocked. Took the convenient shuttle to the slopes. Would definitely rent again. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the unit , something to be aware of if any guests have mobility limitations.

Snowboarding Trip to Wintergreen

We had a nice stay and was nice to be able to bring our dog, short enough drive to the slopes that I could hop in the truck and drop the crew off and pick them up quick when they wanted a break. Condo is right on the golf course so would love to come back when golf season gets here. Weather was perfect for the planned activities with fresh snow but didn’t think about how chemicals would be spread on the parking lot and walkways due to ice which made it difficult for our dog to walk on, something paw friendly would have been helpful but we managed. Just something for others to think about if bringing a pet in the winter. Comfortable and clean condo and fine for the four of us but would be tough if there had been more people. Seating was challenging in the living room for four adults as there was only a small two seater sofa (loveseat), small rocking chair and one other small chair but made do using chairs from the dining table. Would be nice to have more comfortable seating for all after a day of skiing/snowboarding. Everything was in good working order, heat worked well and was nice to have a fire in the fireplace. Purchased some fire starters from the little market to get the fire going well as the supplied firewood was very green, the little market has a little bit of everything which is nice! Was a nice place for a short stay and convenient to resort, market and restaurants. Host was pleasant and quick to respond when we contacted him.

Ski weekend

We had a cozy stay for a ski weekend. The condo had everything we needed. It was a very cold weekend and the fireplace was very enjoyable.

Great mountain top place

This is an excellent and cozy space to stay on the mountain. Conveniently located near hiking trails, the lodge, and the store. Accommodates a family of 4 very well.

Great stay

This property was perfect for the family and dog. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities, plates, cups, silverware etc. My recommendation is to bring all the groceries you need for your stay because grocery stores are a 30+ minute drive. There are so many family attractions in that area of Va. We really enjoyed our trip.

Weekend getaway

The condo is in a beautiful location. It’s quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to have the windows open all weekend and spent a good amount of time on the deck. Even though it is right on the golf course, it is very private due to the shrubs.

Unfortunately the condo above was being remodeled so it was constant banging 14 hours a day and everything was shut down had to travel 40 miles to get breakfast, bummer no activities

Nice for a quick getaway

We enjoyed our short 2 night vacation in the mountains. It was helpful that the condo is dog friendly and although it's on the second level, there is easy access to the backyard for potty breaks and a scenic pathway around the golf course behind the property. The living area is homey but could use an extra couch or love seat if your whole family wants to gather together. We had some issues with the internet not performing great if more than one device was connected, especially if you are streaming video. We didn't get the DirecTV to completely cooperate as there were some channels that would only have audio, and we never found a channel menu. The paper channel guide in the condo was not accurate, but that was probably for cable channels and not DirecTV. We were not there to sit around and watch TV all day, so it was not a big deal, and we had brought some movies! Well equipped kitchen (could use a pizza pan which we could not find). Nice balcony to sit outside and watch people/dogs along the path.
