This house was amazing! Very spacious and clean. Our family of 5 adults loved hanging out by the pool and enjoying the view. The walk to the Mauna Kea hotel and beach was easy. We spent time exploring the Big Island but always appreciated coming back to our house and relaxing by the pool. The host answered all of my questions before we arrived, and the on-site property managers were wonderful. I can't say enough about how much we loved this house and the resort area! We will be back.

Beautiful and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved walking down to the beach/hotel. It's very comfortable and spacious.

The house and its amenities were outstanding. The house is an easy walk to the beach and offers lots of beach toys, chairs, etc. Also, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for. A perfect place to spend time with friends and family!

The dreamiest vacation ever

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. Two families - four adults, four teens - and we couldn’t have wished for more. The proximity to the resort, the nightly sunsets, the well-stocked and perfectly comfortable home. It was all we could have wished for and more. Thank you!

A luxurious and beautiful Hawaiian retreat

This is a lovely home with amazing views and great walking access to the beach, golf course, and hotel. The rooms and the decor are done to perfection. It is great for a couple, a small family, or for a group of 8-10. I loved taking an outdoor shower in the evening before relaxing on the lanai to enjoy the pool and views. I highly recommend this gorgeous home, and we will be returning!

Wonderful!

This is a great home. It doesn't feel like a rental house. It is well stocked and spacious, and the outdoor/pool area is great. We did not really use the indoor/outdoor features since it was too hot. Other than a few minor things (WiFi was weak for example),we had a fantastic stay and hope to rent this home again. NOTE: We had to move to a different house due to the wildfires. This review is for Kaunaoa 7B at Hapuna Beach residences.

Excellent trip witht eh family

Excellent time with the family. Easy access to the beach and pool. With the resort pass you can also use the Westin Resort which has the better pool for young kids. The service was excellent as was the food at the restaurants. We definitely plan on doing it again next year.

Beautiful view

Loved the view from this property! Breathtaking! Beautiful Hawaiian feel villa. Spacious, comfortable accommodations. Enjoyed the walk to the Mauna Kea hotel and beach. It was a spectacular stay, would definitely want to stay here again. It was perfect for our 3 couples.

Couples' Retreat in Paradise

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful villa with 3 other couple friends, and we had a fantastic time! The management company converted the twin beds in two of the bedrooms to king beds, so it worked very well for 8 adults. The furnishings were lovely, we had plenty of space to spread out, and we enjoyed the private pool and large deck during the afternoons and at sunset. The short walk down to the Mauna Kea Resort center and beach was great. We enjoyed the Hapuna Resort as well, which has been recently renovated - cocktails in the adults only infinity pool overlooking the ocean was to die for, and Meridia Restaurant was a real delight as well. The entire experience was wonderful - highly recommend!

Great Views and Welcoming Atmosphere

We found this villa to be sunny, cheerful and welcoming for our family. It has every convenience we could have imagined including the following: a perfect kitchen with space for family and guests and the cook, comfortable and quiet sleeping space, views like we have never seen before, and a short walk to the beach.We felt immediately at home.

Amazing home, gorgeous views, short walk to beach

This home is beautiful! It has great space and is such an easy walk down to the hotel and beach. The rooms have lovely decor and a Hawaiian flair. The sunsets are amazing overlooking the private pool and the ocean. It easily slept 8 people for us, but it could have slept 10. I would highly recommend this gorgeous villa at Mauna Kea.

Beautiful Home with Incredible Resort Access

Villa 21 is a very special place. The moment we stepped foot on the property we were struck by the beauty of the home and the sweeping views. The home met our family's needs perfectly and we loved the proximity to the resort. We enjoyed the short walk to the golf course, hotel, and beach. I highly recommend Villa 21!

What a Week!

I cannot say enough about Villa #21 and Elite Vacation Rentals. From initial booking to our departure, nothing was missed (and if it was, it was rectified immediately). Kirsten and Colby were attentive yet unobtrusive, and always available to answer questions. The villa is new to the rental market, impeccably clean and stocked well beyond typical rentals (think rice cooker! Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in every bathroom - including the outdoor showers! Boogie boards, snorkel gear - you name it, it was there!). It is a <5 minute drive to MK Beach Hotel, and centrally located to the airport and towns of Waimea and Kawaihae. We travelled with both our moms (in their 70's), two teenage kids and their friends (8 total). More than enough space for all, and the plunge pool was perfect for afternoon conversation and cooling off after a day of sightseeing or at the beach. We ordered groceries to be available on arrival, and everything was fresh, organic where requested, and organized beautifully. We happened to be at the villa during the beginning of construction on the unit next door (about which we were warned prior to arriving, but after booking) and although it was loud during some (not all) of the days, we were never awakened nor bothered during all-important sunset cocktails. Elite handled this situation so professionally. Their customer service really is unparalleled. We chose to purchase resort access, and were able to use both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beaches (although Hapuna Prince Hotel is also under construction, the public part of the beach is as gorgeous and not a jackhammer could be heard). Charging privileges were available to us, and the kids had a blast renting SUPs and surfboards, not to mention consuming multiple virgin piña coladas. One week wasn't enough, and we plan to return for two next year! Amy & Derek Thompson
