Welcome to the Hokum House! Incredible city and mountain views.

We specialize in offering upscale, stylish, and comfortable short term vacation rental homes including 8 homes and 4 casitas. All of our homes include fast Wi-Fi, memory foam mattresses, resort-quality linens, well-stocked kitchens (pots, pans, seasonings, cooking oils, etc.), bath necessities (toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, towels), newer flat panel smart TVs, and more. Professional cleaning and sanitizing between guests performed by our well-paid staff. Easy self check-in with digital keypad.

What makes this home special? Located high up at the base of the Catalina mountains foothills, enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, sunsets, and city lights! Take a soak in our hot tub, Enjoy covered grilling and outdoor dining. Lounge by the pool, or hang out inside our comfortable and newly remodeled home. The large floor plan is one floor (no stairs), four bathrooms and four bedrooms, covered outdoor kitchen for grilling and dining year-round, and more.

Take in panoramic city & mountain views, world-famous sunsets & watch as the city lights sparkle at night. Enjoy the private pool & spa, koi pond, city and mountain views, multiple outdoor seating areas, pool table, huge covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, and so much more!

Bird watcher's paradise! Quail, cardinals, road runners, and more like to sit on the edge of the pool and grab a quick drink. Because this house is on a private and rugged acre of desert you may see various wild life including birds, rabbits, lizards, and the occasional Gila Monster, coyote, owl, and more. If you should encounter wildlife that causes concern, simply contact Rural Metro for removal.

This very private oasis sits on over an acre and is in a very desirable location close to Tucson's finest dining, shopping, hiking, and biking. La Encantada, Tucson's beautiful outdoor mall with its great restaurants, coffee and gelato shops, gourmet grocery store and awesome assortment of boutiques and home and clothing stores is only moments away as are a pharmacy, bank, galleries and more restaurants!

This property also has easy access from I-10 making it an easy drive from Tucson's airport or Phoenix Sky Harbor or Gateway airports. NOTE: Pool heating may be available as an optional amenity priced separately based upon seasonal rates. If you are interested in pool heating, please request this service 48 hours prior to your check-in.

Would stay here again! Slept 9 easily. Had plenty of supplies and everything we needed to cook our meals for our 5 night stay. The view was spectacular, especially at night. If we are in Tucson again we’ll definitely stay again!

The property was perfect for our workcation. The house was large enough that we were all able to spread out when needed. The outside was a great spot for hanging out after work and our family loves a pool table, so most nights ended with several games of pool. We would definitely rent again!

The house is beautiful and clean! It was the perfect place to host a family gathering. The pool is gorgeous! The host supplied a more than ample supply of towels and paper goods. The indoor family room was large and connects to the kitchen. We were able to be together and enjoy March Madness.

Our stay was great. The house and outdoor areas and pool/hot tub were all amazing and Magic and Kaela were very responsive. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful visit at this property! The house was very clean and well maintained. All of the amenities were well thought out and well stocked. There wasn’t anything extra we needed. We have stayed at other properties that have left quite a bit to be desired, but this home was fantastic. Zero complaints.The pool had a bit of normal debris in it when we arrived and we couldn’t find a skimmer. The property manager was quick to respond and had a new skimmer delivered the same day. We loved the outdoor area and were able to watch the monsoon lightning from the covered patio. We enjoyed our coffee out there in the morning watching a variety of birds and dragonflies drink from the pool. It was a nice quiet, relaxing getaway for us! Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving Holiday @ Hokum

We had a great time and everything we needed for 8 of us during Thanksgiving holidays. House was great, plenty of room and amazing views and sun sets. Great location in the foothills.

Just perfect

The house was everything we could have hoped it would be. Clean and comfortable. Between the pool table and the pool and the amazing backyard space with the perfect view we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Fabulous House for a trip to Tucson!

Beautiful and well equipped house with a great view. We used the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and pool table…. Family had a great time! Host service was also amazing! Good location in the foothills.

Fantastic home for our annual golf trip!!

This house Has everything and plenty big plus the spa was awesome - heated up really nicely - the pool was awesome too but we didn’t use it as much. Magic was great! Did a great job having everything ready for us. Had a great week of weather so it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view! Definitely would book this home again!!

Sunset view & Pool

Beautiful Foothills location with great sunset views from the pool area- even though it was just my husband & I this property would be great for a larger group especially outside around the patio area. Our favorite part of town close to restaurants, shopping, hiking & a user friendly neighborhood for a run or power walk.

Property was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of space four the 4 of us. Great views.

Really enjoyed property - very relaxing. Great family room/kitchen/views. We enjoyed the pool table and walking the neighborhood. Only suggestion would be if could make the hot tub a little hotter. Check in and out was very easy. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely return!

Thanks, Sharyl! Anytime a guest wants the hot tub temp changed we are happy to do accommodate. Just let us know! The max temp on the hot tub is 104 (I think this is a national standard) and we usually keep it at 102. As always, we welcome guests to contact us any time with questions or requests.

November get away

Had a lovely vacation with friends and family in this very spacious house. The house was bigger than expected. The outdoor patio and pool were lovely especially in the evening. Sunsets and the view from the patio where also very relaxing. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. My son even remarked he'd like to come back soon

Amazing

The stay was AMAZING!!!! EVERYTHING YOU COULD ASK FOR. THE VIEW THE QUIETNESS, THE WHOLE FAMILY LOVED THE POOL AND SPA!! ALSO,THE POOL TABLE. Family Gathering

Perfect place to visit Arizona family! Grilling is fantastic and space was perfect. Our family live in Tucson with other family close by. 3 generations gathered for hamburgers and hot dogs it was very special! Perfect as our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 littles) had wonderful space and the Tucson family was able to visit. Wonderful.

Awesome Property

I would recommend anyone wishing to visit Tucson to book this property. The unit is awesome. With the bonus of pool and hot tub. The owner responded to a couple of issues immediately. The unit is with in driving distance of any activities that you might want to do.

The Hokum House was just fabulous! It was extremely spacious, clean and newly updated. The house layout was extensive and provided individual spaces for each family member to relax and enjoy. The new kitchen was perfectly appointed with all your cooking and dining needs including a generous pantry of condiments and cooking supplies. In addition to the relaxed but elegant furniture and decor were the pristine bathrooms, all updated and gorgeous. The super sized laundry machine and detergent were a wonderful bonus. The view, pool and hot tub were a perfect compliment to the new pagoda which included a large and comfortable outdoor dining area. The spacious back yard, covered porch and new artificial grass provided the perfect place to unwind. The neighborhood was very quiet and provided easy access to local grocery stores and restaurants. Magic the host immediately replied to any inquiry and was extremely helpful. Thumbs up Hokum House and Host Magic!

Tucson Golf Trip

This was the perfect place to stay on a golf trip to Tucson. The location was great and all the amenities were just what we were looking for (pool table, comfortable beds, and a hot tub). It does take some time for the hot tub to come up to temp (103), but as long as you plan ahead it's not a big deal. We would definitely stay there again. FYI...Magic Johnson was a great host!

Thanks, Jeff! This really is a great house. We recommend folks start up the hot tub about 30-40 minutes before they plan to enjoy it. The new pergola and refurbished outdoor dining area are a plus. The city lights and sunsets can't be beat!

Beautiful house, with a view that is unbelievable! The colorful sun setting behind the mountains, with the city lights below, is a million-dollar view. Sitting there with the love of your life, soft music, and a beverage of your choice, makes for a vacation that dreams are made of. To top it off, we were in Tucson to see our beautifully perfect 2-week-old granddaughter.

Tucson Adventure

Hokum House was as lovely as the pictures…clean & comfortable. Views from both front & back of house were spectacular, especially sunset. Despite the chilly weather the kids spent every morning relaxing in the hot tub & enjoying their coffee & crosswords. We were within an easy half hour (or less) drive of every activity we had planned. Only disappointment was that the beautiful fireplaces were “decorative” only.

Thanks for the wonderful review! Glad the spectacular sunsets, hot tub mornings, and central location made for a great family stay. The fireplaces are strictly decorative due to local safety codes, but we are happy the outdoor amenities made up for it. You are welcome back whenever you return to the area.

Perfect

This home was a perfect place to spend a week in Tucson. It starts with the view of the city and the Foothills. We did not use the pool but could easily see how it would become the place to be in the evenings. The split bedroom layout with a central great room and kitchen provide a nice chance to have group and private time. Magic is a great host, responsive and helpful.
