Welcome to Villa Violeta, a beautiful, refurbished beach house with pool, just steps from Isla Verde Beach, selected by USA Today in 2016 as one of the best Urban beaches in the world.
(THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, CLOSE TO OTHER HOMES.
SORRY, NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED.
NO MUSIC OR OUTSIDE LOUD NOISE PERMITTED AT NIGHT.)
The villa accommodates a total of 13 persons in six bedrooms and 5 baths.
It is in a perfect location due to;
1 proximity to the beach, only 1 minute walk.
2 proximity to restaurants, hotels, night life, bars, grocery store, pharmacy and shops, all within couple minutes walking distance.
3 10 min drive to any major attraction in San Juan such as Old San Juan, Condado and La Placita de Santurce.
The villa is fully ac'd, has good wifi, and cable tv.
It also has a pool, power generator and water cistern.

Amazing location and home

I came with a group of friends. The house was spread out enough where everybody had their own rooms and time to decompress. Walking distance to beach and there’s a really cute breakfast café right on the corner that you can also walk to. Old town is very close by we rented a car, but you could Uber.. The house is exactly as pictured. It was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I loved it and would use this place again

Great with some issues

The location of the house is great and the garage parking is a must as it's a busy street and sometimes you cant get parking since it's close to the beach. Ruben was great and very responsive.The description of the bedroom layout is not accurate. It states that there is a master with an ensuite and an additional room with an en suite in the main house. That is not the case. There is a master with an en suite and 3 additional bedrooms with 2 bathrooms none of which are en suite.The outside grill didn't really work after having to wait for someone to come and change the gas as it was empty. The house itself needs to TLC and a lot of things are just really old. There's a lot of things that are either broken or in desperate need of replacing. For example the umbrella by the pool couldn't be put up as it was missing a pin to hold it up. Shelves missing pieces and couldn't be used as it was unbalanced etc. Hot water in the kitchen was non existent, we had to boil water using a pot.To lock the house is a little weird. You cant lock the main door through the front, you can only lock the gate. You have to lock it from the inside and then go round the back or through the garage to get out. If we weren't together and someone came home early or late, we had to hide keys for the back so they could get in through the back door.The house was expensive per night and we did have a great time. If it wasn't for the location we would have not been happy with the value for money.

Bachelorette Weekend

We had a fantastic stay for a bachelorette party! The property offered plenty of space with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, making it perfect for our large group. We loved the close proximity to the beach, and Ubers were always available within minutes. Each room had its own cooling system, which was great, though the main house was pre-set to a cooler temperature we couldn't change (which is certainly better from being too warm).One downside was that there was only one key for the entire group, which became a bit of a hassle. It would be much more convenient if there were at least two, if not three keys, for future guests.While the kitchen was functional, the supplies were minimal—there were basic dishes, but no oils, salt/pepper, foil, or other essentials if you plan to cook. However, they did provide a bottle of passionfruit rum, which was a lovely touch!I highly recommend spending an evening at The Fairmont—it has lots of entertainment and delicious food. Our favorite spot was Kumo Rooftop Bar (be sure to arrive early for drinks, and dinner requires a reservation).Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this property for groups looking to enjoy a beach getaway!

Great House!

This property is located close to restaurants, the beach and a big grocery store. It is a very short walking distance to all of the things you need. We had two rental cars and they had a nice two car garage. In the VRBO add they stated a hot tub. There is NO hot tub and the pool is NOT heated. Other than that, the property was so nice with all of the beds and baths! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

House was perfect for 10 family members..from 60yrs old down to 8yrs old...there is no hot tub as in description...but everything else was great...1 block from beautiful beach...24hr hr grocery store close by...restraunt block away...great 2 car garage..10 minutes from San Juan airport...rooms big enough..bathrooms adequate..nice kitchen n appliances...property manager easily accesible and friendly n helpful...perfect stay in Puerto Rico for family...pool perfect for evening relaxing...perfect size bbq...only issue was some lites not working or bulbs needed replaced...great vacation place for families

Beautiful Home! Loved it!

The property was just beautiful and our host and his assistant were both fantastic and very helpful! The listing said the property was only a 3 minute walk to the beach, but it was actually a bit farther as it is NOT on the beach. But was still an easy walk. The address that was sent after booking was off by a number, so you might want to double-check that when it's emailed to you after booking.

Ladies get together

This house was a lovely space for a group of 10. We had more than enough room to spread out and also space where we could be together. The neighborhood is lovely. Steps from the beach and also plenty of food within walking distance. The property manager Rueben is a great guy that meets you at the property and shows you around. We had a little glitch with our texts not getting to each other but once we figured that out, we were on track. Even let us drop our bags early so we could go explore the neighborhood I would definitely recommend this house to anyone

Post wedding stay

House and host were great! My daughter got married in Puerto Rico so we extended with a few friends to unwind after the event. Excellent, clean, comfortable house to unwind at with some great restaurants and bars walking distance or short Uber ride. And only about ten minutes from airport. Rubin personally met us for checkin and checkout making it convenient. He was a treat.

Friends and Family Celebration

We were mwt by a rwpresentative of the unit to introduce the properry to us. He was very informative and helpful. Most of the unit was as described except for the bunk bed. The bunk bed is for a child not a young teen. There appears to be a dog bed in that same room which had we known would have made other arrangements. The guest staying in that room had allergies. The home is as pictured and the location is ideal. Wish there was more parking spaces considering the amount of persons the home can accomodate. They communicated very well with us via the rep. Awesome first time experience in Puerto Rico

We were very happy with our stay here. Reuben made us quite comfortable and provided plenty of information regarding the island when we were checking in. The property is beautiful and close to the airport so it made our travel plans much easier. We would definitely recommend this property to large families or groups of friends, it was worth it!

Nice house, great set up for groups

We had a group of 8 that came to town to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The house itself was great for our group, we had a lot of space and the bathroom and bedroom ratios were good for us. We loved the pool, and proximity to the beach. Getting to and from old San Juan and other parts of town was an easy and affordable Uber ride away. The biggest issue we had was being given only one key, with a second key being provided upon request. For a group of 8, it was a little challenging to always coordinate keys while we were out and about. We would recommend putting in a garage door opener with a keypad, or putting a keypad/lockbox somewhere external if more keys can’t be passed out.

We visited for a week for a family wedding. The property accommodated a large group - all adults. Great property and location overall. Only negative - the AC compressors of the hotel property across the street are noisy 24/7 and a bit unsightly.

Comfortable Stay, Good Location

My family and I recently stayed at this property, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. The separate house at the back, featuring two bedrooms with ensuites, was perfect for added privacy. The main house had spacious rooms with plenty of space for everyone to relax. The pool, though small, was a cool and refreshing retreat from the hot weather. We appreciated having a garage for our rental car, although in hindsight, Uber would have worked just as well and might have been more cost-effective. Each bathroom in the house had its own unique quirks. One shower swapped the hot and cold settings, another bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, and one was notably small. Despite these minor issues, all the bathrooms were functional. The air conditioners in each room were fantastic, keeping the house cool and comfortable. The property manager was quick to respond, flexible with check-in, and very helpful. If I had to suggest improvements, it would be to add oven-safe dishes and Tupperware for storing fresh fruit. Additionally, a few cabinet doors throughout the home had broken hinges and the ovens bake function didn't work (but convection did). Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and we felt very much at home during our stay.

Family vacation

This was an excellent place for a family vacation. We were all together yet everyone had their own space. As stated in previous reviews, the pool looks small but was perfect for our family of 10 and the beach was a short walk away. The kitchen was pretty well equipped however it could have had a couple large serving bowls. The manager was very responsive to any requests.

Villa Violeta was the perfect house for 8 women to celebrate turning 40 together! Great walking distance to the beach. They had enough chairs to accommodate us all. Ruben was very responsive too. The water temperature and pressure would have been the only improvement needed. However, we knew that going in from other reviews and being on an island.

San Juan Fun

Came to San Juan with 3 other couples for my 60th birthday celebration. Property is located next to Ritz-Carlton. Ritz currently closed for renovation. Short 1 block walk to a beautiful beach. Host provides beach chairs and a cooler. Property was nice. Did have struggles with hot water. Several restaurants nearby. I would return to this property. Highly recommended getting a private chef for a few meals.

Hidden Gem!

I was anxious trying to put a sibling getaway together. Once booked, The house manager Ruben was extremely helpful. He knew our needs prior to trip, assisted in recommending an excellent chef (Paul & Manny). There were some hiccups, but Ruben immediately handled them. My siblings thoroughly enjoyed their stay. I cannot tell you how relaxing our trip was. If you just want a place close to the airport, beach, and supermarket, go for it. The pool not so big, but the owner has other properties you can choose. I will definitely be back. This was definitely a hidden gem, worth visiting. Chef Paul, and Chef Manny, hands down the dishes you created will go down as Michelin Star in the Edwards 5 sibling reunion. Thank you all for 5 star service.
