Perfect South Maui Ocean View Condo

Just posted new lower summer rate for my wonderful Kihei Akahi, 1 bedroom / 1 bath, ocean view condo. It is clean and quiet with an ocean view from the lanai. Remodeled and professionally decorated in a Hawaiian style with artwork from local artists, you'll find everything you need to relax. So come immerse yourself in the Aloha spirit of Maui and enjoy life.

The condo is perfect for special people like you who enjoy the luxury of having that first cup of coffee sitting on the lanai, watching the changing colors of the sky and ocean, smelling the scent of plumeria and listening to the birds sing. Or enjoy a Maui sunset sipping a Mai Tai before a romantic moonlight walk on the beach.

A fully equipped kitchen allows you to make your favorite meals if you choose to cook or you can walk a short distance to some of the best restaurants and shops in Kihei. Wailea is just a five minute drive for shopping and restaurants too.

Located on the 4th floor of the C building in Kihei Akahi, just 100 yards from the soft sands and warm waters of Kamaole Beach II, where you can relax on the beach, snorkel, boogie board or body surf. The wonderful tropical breeze naturally cools the condo when the windows are open. And it's not near the elevator so you'll enjoy a quiet restful sleep.

The unit has beach towels, mats, umbrella, chairs and cooler for your use. If you enjoy walking, a path along the beach connects to the Wailea resort area. There is an activity desk at the complex to help you schedule activities such as luau's, Molokini trips, etc. Since I live close-by, I have a guest book with some of my favorite Maui activities and restaurants, snorkeling spots, and beaches too.

The Kihei Akahi tennis and pickle ball court opens at 7:00am so you can get in that early morning game. Golf is available at one of 6 world class courses within 5-10 minutes drive.

I pride myself in maintaining the condo with very high standards with regard to aesthetic appeal and cleanliness. There is no smoking within the condo or on the lanai. No pets are allowed.

A perfect host!

This was a great place to stay for a vacation in Hawaii! It's in a central part of Kihei, but quiet, close to the beaches, a great restaurant, Bernie provides everything you need, thoughtful and useful touches throughout the apartment.everything you need.

Great location, clean condo for good price

I was looking for a place that was in South Kihei near the beach that was clean and a good price since I pretty much just wanted to eat dinner and sleep there. This condo definitely delivered that and Berney was very helpful with check in and a late check out.

Fantastic Condo

This is a true gem in Kihei! The condo offered great views of both the gardens and the ocean. I really appreciated all of the available amenities, such as two pools and bbq areas, and the in-condo washer and dryer. The building is situated so that the tradewinds blow through, keeping the condo nice and cool. The Hawaiian decorations throughout the condo were tasteful and made it feel extra comfortable. I also really appreciated the Tommy Bahama chairs and water equipment available. I look forward to my return visit to this excellent condo very soon.

Great one bedroom condo at Kihei Akahi

We had a wonderful stay at this great little condo in Kihei. We had a view of the ocean from our balcony. The location could not have been better. Our host Berney is the best!

Anniversary trip

The condo was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and met our needs. The balcony was our go to in the evening. You could see the stars and listen to the ocean as you relaxed. I highly recommend this condo, it was also walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. If we are in the area again I wouldn't hesitate staying here.

Nice place to call home in Kihei

We had a great stay in this condo for about 8 days and it exceeded all of our needs. The location can’t be beat if you enjoy walking along S. Kihei Dr, the quick access to Kamaole beaches 1-3 as well as further south to the beaches in Wailea. The unit is well stocked, clean, and the beach chairs/umbrella made our adventures complete. The two pools are lovely, parking and check-in was a breeze. We hope to be back!

Clean condo with a view in a great location!

Berney was very attentive and made sure to check-in with us to ensure the condo was great and we didn’t have any questions. The condo is clean and well stocked. Nice view of the ocean where we were able to spot several whales. Great location directly across from the beach and close to several restaurants.

The VRBO condo was perfect for my 5-0 celebration. Whales, beach time, sunsets, and shopping, and enjoying all the beauty Maui has to offer. Would love to stay at this condo again! It was perfect, Berney was so attentive and so easy to work with. Mahalo!

Amazing spot

Location was very well situated to 3 beaches within walking distance, close to a few good restaurants and a quick drive to anything else you can need like a few grocery options. Berney has stocked the rents with a bunch of different beach gear that help you save some money on rentals such as snorkels, chairs, body boards and more. We loved having breakfast each morning looking out to the ocean from the patio. It was a perfect vacation at a perfect location.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying in the condo. It was fully stocked with everything you needed for a perfect beach vacation. We rented a car and went out every day, so didn't spend much time at the condo or on the property, but the view from the lanai was great for coffee. There were two community pools that seemed nice, and a BBQ area. Condo is right across from the beach, which was convenient and walking distance from food and shops. Would stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

The most amazing trip

We had a perfect trip. The spot Berney provides is exactly what we wanted. Close to food and shops, clean, safe and truly steps away from the beach. We had an incredible experience and can’t wait to come back here. Berney himself was easy to reach and always lovely to deal with. Mahalo!!!!!!

Aloha, my name is Berney. I moved to Maui in 2007 and retired. Since then I have embraced Hawaiian culture and immersed myself in local activities. I have been a member of the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise and the Kihei Community Association. I am very active with the Kihei Canoe Club as a paddler and active board member. Unlike many Maui Vacation Rental condo owners, I live close by. So I can provide advice on activities, restaurants, etc.

I enjoy sharing the Kihei Akahi condo with others who want to experience Maui's aloha spirit and all it has to offer. There is a reason folks say Maui No Ka Oi (Maui is the best). Come and enjoy sunny skies, cooling trade winds, and warm clear tropical waters. See the fish and plant life that exist nowhere else on earth. Por qué eligió esta propiedad

I purchased this Kihei Akahi condo because it is located at the best beaches in Maui and is just a mile from Wailea. Wailea is the upscale resort in South Maui where there is world class golf and tennis, fine dining, and the Shops at Wailea. But while Wailea is so close, it is also expensive. At Kihei Akahi I found excellent accommodations at a faction of the cost so my guests could spend more time enjoying all that Maui offers. And some of the best restaurants and shopping are within walking distance!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The condo includes beach gear - umbrella, towels, ice chest, boogie boards, snorkel, mask and flippers. And having a washer/dryer in the unit allows you to pack light and possibly forego the luggage fee on your trip.

I enjoy helping guests get the most from their Maui experience. I am happy to give restaurant tips, recommendations on activities, and information on some of the best snorkel spots. As a member of the Kihei Canoe Club, I enjoy inviting guests to join me for a morning paddle in an outrigger canoe.

There are many things to do on Maui that don't cost much money or are free. I'd be happy to help you learn about them.
