Welcome to your home-away from home on beautiful Fripp Island. A private gated community perfect for a relaxing family retreat or quiet time alone.

Enjoy three-and-one-half miles of pristine uncrowded beaches, wildlife sanctuaries, bike paths and nature walks. Fripp Island is located about 20 minutes from the quaint historic town of Beaufort, 60 miles to Savannah, and 90 miles to Charleston.

You will enjoy the comfort of our three bedroom , two bath home in the private community of Deer Lake including WIFI, a fully equipped newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances. A large dining area, jacuzzi tub and separate shower in master. King size bed in master, two guest rooms each with queen-size beds. 300 count linens and very comfortable beds. 4 person golf cart which is included in your stay!

Our guests are welcome to enjoy the private Deer Lake pool and children's playground just steps from your front door. Sip coffee in the morning on the front porch watching the deer in the front yard and eat enjoy private dinners on the screened back porch overlooking , wooded, nature filled yard and creek.

Spend your days at the pool, beach or just relaxing and exploring the island on your golf cart or bikes. You will soon see why the Fripp Island area has been chosen to film so many movies, such as Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides and Junglebook.

Fripp Island is also the chosen home of author Pat Conroy, famous for writing several books. July though October is nesting time for the turtles on the beach. If you come during this time be sure to follow directions on visiting the sites.

Relaxing Island time

The house was great & it was as advertised. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. They had thought of all the details in the kitchen & throughout the house. We loved seeing all the deer all over the island & we appreciated having the golf cart as part of the house to be able to see the sights. The weather was as good as you could hope for in SC in March.

We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood away from the main roads. It was a bit of a drive to beach, but worth it to enjoy a quieter location. The neighborhood was full of deer, and we saw several alligators, including a huge one! We would stay here again.

Beautiful, comfortable home!

All of us said, "WOW" when we walked into the home. To me, it looks more beautiful in-person than it does in the on-line photos. Very lovely place! The only negative is the beach bikes look better in the online photos than in-person. Some of them need maintenance. The golf cart was perfect and ran flawlessly.

Amazing Family Vacation

Our family vacation was amazing! This house was perfect for our group. The layout of the house is amazing and they provided so many different things that made a beach vacation even better. Beach supplies, bikes, golf cart, kitchen supplies, extra pillows and blankets, and so much more. We hope to return!

Summer vacay

We loved staying in this home. Its a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We have stayed at several homes on the island over the years and this was on the top of the list of homes we loved. The homeowners were quick to respond if we had any questions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect

Our 6th time to Fripp, this was our favorite house we’ve rented. Love the layout of the house, plenty of space with everything being close on the same floor. Everything was very clean. Well stocked with essentials and much more. Great screened-in porch with ceiling fan. Beds very comfortable. Loved the neighborhood and the convenient location on the island. Only had one minor issue during our stay and Diane handled it immediately and was so kind. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Great place for a relaxing stay.

This is a wonderful property in a quiet neighborhood. Owner provides nice amenities so that we could stay in and cook meals of fresh local seafood. Golf cart provided to get to and from beach accesses. Very clean and homey. Hope to visit again.

Relaxing Vacation

Quiet Spot in Deer Lake

Very nice “cottage home” in the Deer Lake neighborhood on Fripp Island. Very quiet location away from the crowds. Beds are very nice, kitchen has everything you need. Short golf cart ride to beaches, golf and tennis.

Relax and Reset

The home is in a quiet neighborhood with comfortable beds with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Thanks for thinking of the extras. Golf cart and bikes were a nice touch even though it was to cold for us to use. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Just the weekend we needed to relax and reset.

Fabulous!

This was our first stay on Fripp Island. We had a wonderful time. All as advertised. Perfect location. Very quiet neighborhood, pool is large and clean. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. House as advertised and perfect for our family. Enjoyed bike riding and the golf cart. Very clean and hosts answered all questions. Thank you!

Amazing Stay!

We have immediate family that resides on Fripp and have been visiting (and have always stayed with) them for 25 years. This was our first time renting and I admit my expectations were high! First and foremost, Diane is an EXCELLENT communicator and very friendly! The home is cozy and has any and all amenities you would need! My daughters and I loved the Aveeno shampoo and conditioner! Beds were comfy and the pup loved the screened porches! Great little neighborhood with many deer. If we need to rent in the future, we will definitely be staying here again!

Great house!

We loved our stay here. It was so fun to watch for all the deer on the island. My kids loved riding on the golf cart. The beaches were not crowded. The house was great to come back to after some very hot days at the ocean. There were plenty of board games to keep us entertained. My last couple trips I’ve had some pretty bad beds to sleep on but that was not the case here. Beds were very comfortable! The owner was very easy to communicate with. It was a great week.

Just what we needed!

The only thing that would have made this trip better was if it were longer. It was the perfect house for our needs. There was plenty of room for us and the furniture was all comfortable. Everything needed to fix a meal was stocked in the kitchen. Using the golf cart was fun, just to look at the deer and birds or going to the beach. The screened in porch was great for coffee and breakfast in the mornings, also. While the neighbors were close, the house felt really private. And the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Our time spent here was just what was we needed to unwind and recharge. My family would definitely love to stay here again.

Our stay on Fripp Island

This is a beautiful little home nestled in the palm trees and forest in a quiet neighbourhood on Fripp Island. The house is completely set up , you won’t want for anything.The beach is easily accessible from several points along the main road and made easy with the use of the golf cart provided by the owner. I cannot overemphasize how convenient and fun it was to have the use of this cart. If we didn’t feel like taking the cart there were bicycles in the garage that we used to take a leisurely ride to the beach or store on the island . There was a great Deli for sandwiches as well. If you are looking for relaxation , this is the spot. The beach is amazing. Soft sand coupled with a harder section that made it easy to ride your bike right on the beach. The beach is humongous. Every morning I walked as far as I could with my dog and probably met six people . It’s the perfect place if you want to get away from everything. Beauford is a quaint pretty little town. The houses in the older section of town are really something to see . You could spend a day walking the streets looking at houses and shopping then having lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants on the main strip. We had a great time.The house also has a screened in porch and front terrace where we read every day. Very quiet. Our daughter loved the wildlife as well. There seemed to be a deer around every corner. Cool spot for sure

We were very pleased and had the Best, Most Relaxed time!

The deer were my favorite part! There were literally at least 8-10 in our yard multiple times a day. They were timid, but beautiful. The laid back vibe of Fripp quickly made this my favorite travel destination ever! Our entire family loves it and we will definitely be returning. Diane was incredibly helpful and let us know what all we needed to for beach days, and anything else needed. They also allowed pets which helped us out because we have two little 5 lb dogs that we enjoy having with us. Although they didn't get to explore like we did, they enjoyed it as well! There were plenty of linens, towels, beach towels for our use. They had the golf cart, bicycles, beach toys, corn hole, etc. Unfortunately, the amenities card that allows you to use the tennis courts, golf course, swimming pools, restaurants, etc. does not come with this rental, and since the owners do t have it, their renters have no way of getting or using them either. This wouldn't have normally been a big deal, but the neighborhood pool that you'd normally be allowed to use was closed due to COVID. That really stunk as I am a tennis player and my kids really wanted to go to the pool. However, it seems all the pools are beginning to open now, so hopefully, that part isn't an issue here in the next few weeks. I really can't say there is anything that they could have done to make our stay better, aside from the amenity card situation, but we still had the most amazing time and loved it!!! The only complaint we are having at the moment is that we have to leave! Thank you again for a lovely stay!! The Subers
