The house was everything we expected and more. It was cozy and clean. Being able to have coffee on the porch and watch my brother fishing in the river before breakfast. We enjoyed being able to share meals at the house and smores by the fire pit. The host was so friendly and helpful and we all agree we'd stay again.

We love staying at the Dan River house! It's a lovely, quiet location to get away from it all. Estelle is always easy to communicate with and responds quickly. She's an excellent host!

Home away from home

Such a peaceful location. The house was well stocked' very roomy and comfortable. We will definitely make a return visit in the future.

The Dan River home was perfect for our family of 9. The home was clean, beds comfortable. Plenty of kitchen cookware and accessories. We visited Mt. Airy and Pilot mountain. Saw a couple of deer. Estelle was easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to return.

This place is so peaceful. Very clean. Reasonably priced. Sounds of the river. No traffic. Everything you need to stay here is provided. A great place to get away from everything. Definitely stay here again.

Very private area and the closeness of the river was really nice. We enjoyed the house…very roomy and even though it was an older house it has been updated very nicely.
