Bank Street Bungalow
Newly renovated 1940's Bungalow located in the heart of Mayberry. We are within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We are literally around the corner from Wally's Service Station where they offer rides in the squad cars. Pilot Mtn park is a 15 minute drive south on hwy 52. It has some amazing views and hiking paths. Speaking of walking paths, Mount Airy has some beautiful paths downtown, along the river.
We are in close proximity to several Yadkin Valley wineries. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 15 minute ride north of us. It's a beautiful sight anytime of the year but Fall is amazing.
This non smoking home has 3 bedrooms (queen bed, full bed and bunk beds - 200lb limit on bunks) 2 baths (one tub / one shower) and is full of charm.
We have two porches and a deck to sit and relax on (smoking permitted there only, not inside the home) and enjoy the NC weather.
Our home has WiFi, cable TV, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Extra linens are available and the beds are freshly made.
We have parking to accommodate 4 cars.
We take cleaning serious! We do our best to provide you with a clean, comfortable environment.

It was delightful. The decorations, all the owls hidden throughout, the extras. We felt like wanted guests. The proximity to downtown and the quiet of the street we were on made it a good location. The fenced-in backyard was great, as was the deck with the comfortable chairs.This was one of the best VRBOs we ever stayed in.

We've stayed at the Bungalow several times and I would highly recommend staying here if you're planning to come to Mt. Airy. Liz is amazing to work with, the location is perfect for walking to main street, to shop and such a quiet neighborhood just to sit back, relax and enjoy.

If you are looking for an amazing bungalow that feels like home the moment you step through the door, this is the place!! Decorated beautifully throughout with personal touches that make you smile!! Comfort in every room!! The only problem that is you may not want to go out to tour the town...lol. We definitely plan on returning in the future!!

This place was AMAZING!Absolutely adorable. Communication with host was excellent.CLEAN, convenient to sights, shopping and restaurants.Would definitely stay again & highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Mayberry.

Very clean! Totally renovated house in Mt. AIRY! The location is perfect. This house has everything you need. Third time staying here and love it! The host is always on top of things and communication is great!! We'll be back!

My brother, his wife, my sister, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bungalow. The locating was so convenient to all we planned to do when visiting Mount Airy. We could walk into town and walk to the theatre where we took in a concert from the house. The weather was “iffy” and overcast but we were able to enjoy the North Carolina weather under the home’s covered porch and side patio. Our host has a great sense of decor! The home was so inviting and comfortable with everything we need in the kitchen. Liz offered her assistance at arrival and while we never needed anything from her, we appreciated knowing she was available. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home

A beautiful relaxing stay. The house had so much charm and yet beautifully renovated. So much care and communication. Will definitely plan to go again!

We enjoyed a weekend family trip to see all the sites in Mayberry. The house was very clean and nicely renovated. There were many amenities left for us to use if needed. The house is very close to Downtown and also Wallys Garage for the Squad Car Tour. The only thing we would change is the beds were very firm! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The host was very responsive to my questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

The one bed in the master is a little firm with a cushion mattress pad. The 2nd bedroom with the full size bed is much softer. We offer both, for personal preferences.

The house was lovely and just like the pictures. It was so close to everything and very relaxing. I loved Mt. Airy. The host was wonderful.
