This charming two bed, two bath cottage is set in the quaint river community known as River Side Acres. Our beautiful home is within close proximity to some of the best trout fishing in the south east. Enjoy access to the community area right by the river where you and your family and friends can fish and picnic with the beautiful scenery of the mountains. The home features an open floor plan that is perfect for family getaways. This brand new build features luxurious furnishings such as beautiful hardwood floors, brand new appliances and bedding, Smart TV and Roku, and a custom stone outdoor firepit! Relax for a spell and take in the mountain air from our spacious wrap around porch. The convenience of the location paired with the seclusion provided by the surrounding trees allows you to experience the best of both worlds at Rainbow Run. Comfortable seating and wonderful mattresses. Everything was great, except some light bulbs were burned out, couldn’t adjust alarm clocks and toaster was an issue. The realty agency was no help regarding alarm clocks and the paperwork was extensive to rent. Never did talk to Host.

Great weekend getaway

We needed a last minute place for the weekend while visiting our daughter at WCU and this place ticked all the boxes. Amazing views, lots of options to sit and chill, play games or just enjoy nature from the deck. We will definitely return.

Wonderful and will stay again

This is the second time we have stayed here and both times were wonderful. Very clean, quiet, convenient to WCU, well stocked home. We will definitely be back again.

Great summer getaway!

Beautiful setting and location! My husband, son and his best friend thoroughly enjoyed the trout fishing. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Very relaxing atmosphere! Even our two very high strung dogs were able to relax! We will definitely be back for another visit.

Short Get Away

My husband, me and my sister had an extremely “low key” visit to Sylva. Rainbow Run was delightful. Very secluded but had everything we needed. The 1 minute walk to the river was not quite accurate. Nice walk down the road and across the street to the river but the walk back up the road was killer!!!

The property is conveniently located for kayaking on the "Tuck" and dining in Dillsboro or Sylva. Three of us stayed 3 nights and had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and kitchen is very well stocked. We never could figure out how to operate the upstairs AC. We wished there was a small table on the deck to eat outside and enjoy the cool evening weather. Great stay!

Relaxing, quiet holiday trip

Clean place, quiet and private location. Great for couples and families looking to relax and get some R&R. The main level floor was malfunctioning, and property management was notified immediately. Due to it being a holiday, a makeshift solution was provided that worked for us so ultimately it didn’t hinder our experience.

Mountain visit

We had never heard of sylva, NC but wanted to check out more of the mountains. This location was perfect. The climb up the mountain was a little scary, but that's virtually all mountain cabin rentals. The location was fantastic and we loved visiting the local areas and relaxing. We even got visited by a herd of wild turkeys at one point. Would highly recommend this location.

Nice house

We have stayed here multiple times for fall and spring fishing trips. It is the first house we look for. Convenient and comfortable. Clean.

Rainbow Run is Fabulous!

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful cabin. It has become home away from home when we visit Sylva. This cabin is immaculately clean and has everything that you need. The property is quiet and being located at the top of the mountain, you have complete privacy, yet neighbors are near by. The road is paved and town is less than 5 mins away. Internet and TV was great. Enjoyed morning visits from the turkey's that would stroll by. The kitchen has everything that you need and although we didnt use it this trip, the firepit is a great spot to hang out. Communication with Sundog is always fantastic! They are super quick to respond if you need anything...in our case we wanted to extend our stay an extra day..no problem! Maintenance stays on top of this cabin....they needed to fill the propane and called us well in advance to give us a head up and even double checked the gas fireplace to make sure it wasnt leaking. Chad was very professional and helpful as he handled everything. Already looking at booking another trip in the beginning of the year.

Rainbow Run

Fantastic cabin. Very clean, comfortably furnished and well-equipped. Incredible fire pit with wood and fire-starter handy. The porch has a great view and, of course, rocking chairs. If you're not up for grilling on the porch there are some very good restaurants and brew pubs in Dillsboro and Sylva. There is top-notch fishing at the foot of the drive to the cabin. Definitely a five star place to stay.

The property was just what we needed! We are the top cabin on the mountain, surrounded by the woods! The wrap around porch is awesome you can sit in the rockers and just enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed.

The Rainbow Run is an excellent cabin, very clean and comfortable. Also, convenient to so much in the area! Sundog Rentals has been outstanding to work with and took care of our needs immediately when we decided to stay another night. Thank you Ashley and team!

Beautiful home and great location

My husband and I stayed at Rainbow Run and it was perfect. The home was beautiful and so clean. It had everything that we needed like a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a fire pit and the views were amazing. The house even had a nice collection of books and games. The communication with Sundog was great. The internet worked perfectly. We had an issue with the fireplace and when I called the office, they were extremely helpful and so kind. They walked us through the process to start the gas fireplace and it worked great. We will definitely stay at this home again. Highly recommend it and sundog!

Great house and location
