We were only at the cabin to eat breakfast and sleep while visiting family in the area. The inside was charming. The kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed listening to the river while sitting on front porch before bed. If allergic to fragrances, ask to have reed diffusers removed prior to arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was great in the cabin! Beautiful furniture pieces, lots of games if someone wanted to play, plenty of linens, blankets, and throws for cooler days. “Porch sitting” area is perfect for relaxing and watching the river. Outside lighting is great for returning after dark which was very much appreciated. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely cabin and very much appreciated that we could have taken our dog. We didn’t this time, but maybe next time. Nice yard. Host was very responsive as our plans had to be changed. I have a much larger vehicle. There was a car in the parking area which made it more difficult to turn around for me.

Great Vacation Spot

This cabin is very relaxing overlooking the river. Nice porch to sit out on and enjoy! Great place to stay if visiting the mountains!!

Vacation in Mountains

We enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. We watched many tubers and kayakers on the river right from the porch.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Cabin was located across street from Tuskegee River. I loved the fishing decor and cabin was quiet amd relaxing.

Great place to stay. The shower handles need replacing and were hard to operate without scalding or freezing yourself. The neighbor apparently is working on a garage band on Saturday night with some practice on Friday evening but they cut out at a decent time. Would definitely stay again despite the inconveniences.

Relaxing by the river!

Everything we needed, close to town and the university. We had a great time visiting the kids at college and relaxing with our coffee each morning. The misty mornings, sipping coffee and listening to the river- the absolute best!

Great Cabin and Location

This cabin was well appointed and had all we needed for a relaxing vacation. The view of the river and mountains was priceless. My husband enjoyed fishing the river while I enjoyed quiet time on the front porch. We hope to return soon.

June family fishing trip.

Cute cabin with beautiful views of the river. Very clean and well kept. Owner Jill was in touch and available if we would have needed anything.

Home away from home

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay anymore than we did! An amazing location with a spectacular view!! The sounds of the river were peaceful and relaxing. We wanted for nothing during our stay as the cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need and then some! Brook Trout Cabin is a DEFINITE return visit 🙂
