Take a breath of fresh air at our beautiful, remodeled 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom oceanfront condo at Kuleana. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and whale watching (during the winter months) from the privacy of the living room or lanai. Our 3rd floor suite features all the amenities of home. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, glasses, flatware, stove, combination convection oven/microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and more making it the perfect place to cook a gourmet meal or mix up your favorite cocktail! The bedroom features a comfortable brand new queen bed for you to enjoy a good night's sleep. There is also a queen sofa bed in the living room.

The Kuleana Resort is considered the HIDDEN JEWEL OF WEST MAUI. The ocean is steps from the condo and is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and turtle watching. Based on weather conditions, Kuleana sometimes has a small beach on either end of the property. The grounds at Kuleana are expertly manicured. You'll be surrounded by lush greenery and tropical flowers. Tiki torches are lit at sunset accentuating the tropical ocean waves as they caress the waters edge against a moonlit sky. This is truly the place to relax in paradise!

Kuleana has a beautiful, full-size heated swimming pool with lounge chairs, a pristine BBQ area for grilling, shuffle board and a tennis court. A laundry room is also available on the property for your convenience. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. The resort is located walking distance to gourmet coffee stores, a farmers market, restaurants, a grocery store, and a dive shop. It is a short drive (approx.10 minutes) to Whalers Village and Kapalua where you can enjoy gourmet dining, shopping, golf, water activities and more. *Please note this is a 3rd Floor unit. There is no elevator on the property. Guests must be able to walk 2 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor.

Awesome location - tons of whale sightings!

The condo was very nicely appointed. It is small, so while it can sleep 4, it would be best if it was 2 adults and two children, IMO. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and silverware. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the AC as the cross breeze was great. Some nights there was a little road noise, but we still slept fine. I lost count of how many whales we saw. The grounds were gorgeous! There was a small beach to get your feet wet but it would be difficult to swim from it. Or stay was amazing and we will stay here again!!

Great stay in Maui

Beautifully updated unit, ac in bedroom was a blessing as it was VERY hot while we were there. Saw turtles off the balcony every day and crabs on the rocks. Parking was easy and plentiful (car rental is a must) Short walk to amazing coffee/sand beach/gift shops. Within 15 minute drive to blow hole, 10 to great snorkeling at Honolua bay, and 5 to dragon’s tooth. Some really cool things right in this small area. Would recommend!

Just what we needed!

From start to finish this was an amazing stay. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff was very helpful. The condo itself has the most amazing view. My wife and I could have spent the entire day just sitting on the balcony looking out over the water. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Sunset Views

We were very pleased with our stay. The views from the Lanai were exceptional, especially at sunset. The unit was very clean on arrival and we appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels. Overall would love to visit again and would recommend to others.

amazing stay

The condo was a perfect place to stay. The fact that we could walk a few steps and be able to snorkel and see the turtles was a dream come true. We can't wait to go back.

Amazing views and grounds

One bedroom unit was clean and well appointed. A/C in bedroom made for comfortable sleeping. Beach access has changed dramatically due to loss of sand. Difficult rocky climb. (Not like pictures) No info about unit or complex in info binder. On site staff do not manage this unit but very helpful and informative about amenities and locations. Would definitely stay here again.

Zero beach access

When looking for a place to stay, we wanted a property with beach access, which is why we ultimately chose this property. We arrived to find that there was actually no beach access on the property. I spoke with one of the on site managers who informed me that there hadn’t been two beaches since 2019 and now there only occasionally was a strip of sand that could maybe be classified as a beach. The host pointed to a single sentence buried in the rental agreement that says that the amount of beach available is not guaranteed. Would have been nice to know in advance that since 2019 there has been little to no beach at all, we would have gone with a different condo. We were disappointed at how misleading and inaccurate the listing was in this regard. If beach access isn’t important to you, the condo itself is nice and the view is amazing. We watched whales breaching way offshore each morning, and there were frequently sea turtles floating around as well. As others have mentioned, the air conditioning is only in the bedroom and is very loud, though it definitely keeps the room quite cool. Overall, our stay was enjoyable though the interaction with Epic Realty definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth and we will be certain to avoid other listings from them when we return to Hawaii as it seems you can’t actually believe what they post in their listings.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I loved our stay at this property and would absolutely book here again. The condo is in a great location, very clean, and well equipped; super easy check-in process. There’s an incredible view of the ocean. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves.

Beautiful location and the condo had everything we needed.

We loved watching the whales from our lanai, snorkeling in front of the property -- even with sea turtles. :) The grounds were always well kept and our condo was perfect for us. The only problem we had was getting locked out for over 2-1/2 hours due to a door code being changed and not working, even though we entered the number we'd been given. The security guard was off site so until he returned, there was nothing we could do, as we'd gone snorkeling and didn't bring anything but our gear and towels (no phone, etc.). We weren't give a reason why this happened other than "it happens sometimes". So be aware this could also happen and always at least have your phone with you.

Great location near Lahaina

Great view out, clean, and central location. Literally the only nitpick was the window unit for AC is quite loud at night. We tried just opening the windows, but the lights and road noise was not great. If that bugs you, plan accordingly.

All is great here except Epic Realty

The condo is ideal for 2 people and swimming with Sea turtles at the beach below was great. Perfectly located between Lanai and Napili for activities and restaurants. My problem is with Epic reality and the inflexibility on any check in before 4 pm. I put this in my reservation request , but was told it was impossible to get in before 4. Upon arrival at 12:30 we found the condo was being cleaned and needed 2 hours due to Covid, which was fine. However Epic will not allow the door to unlock before 4 pm so even though the condo was clean and had the 2 hour air out for Covid we still had to wait the extra 1.5 hours to get in. This is frustrating after long travel when you have cold goods and luggage to put away. The exact same thing happened to us a year earlier with this condo, but the staff at the condo let us in, this time no such luck. Flexibility is the key, if the room is ready, let the guests in! One other item is be prepared as you will have zero cooking condiments or oil as the condo is purged of anything in the fridge or cabinets, we had to buy salt and pepper for example. Other than those 2 things our stay was perfect.

You could just sit on the lanai and watch for whales all day and enjoy this spectacular sound of the waves crashing, the turtles in the ocean beneath you, people surfing. If I could live there I would! Didn’t want to leave, everything was comfortable check in was easy, check out was easy, we will be back!
