Roost Quail's Suite in Summerland

5 Minute walk to Peach Orchard Beach with Boat Launch, Picnic and Swimming areas with Gordon Beggs beach just around the corner, 10 Minute Drive to Beautiful Sun-Oka Beach in Trout Creek and 20 Minute Drive to Penticton, B.C. New one bedroom suite (non-smoking) offers private entrance with all kitchen and laundry amenities and outdoor patio with bar-b-que; come and sit beside the natural spring pond next to the Adam's Bird Sanctuary. The bedroom accommodates a Queen size bed and living room has a queen sofa bed, accommodation is suitable for 1 - 4 guests. Across the street is Peach Orchard Campsite with Pickle Ball and Tennis Courts, with walking/hiking and biking trails nearby.
Summerland is home to beautiful wineries, the Kettle Valley Train, Summerland Research and Agricultural Station grounds with expansive gardens and view over Trout Creek trestle just to name a few of it's many historic and current attractions.
During the months of November through April, we are offering a 10% discount on stays of 7 days or more, 20% for a stay of 14 days, 30% for 21 days and 40% for a one month stay.

Nice Place In Summerland

Everything was very nice and the place was just a close walk down to the beach. The host, Len, was super helpful and friendly! Would stay again!

Summerland vacation

This is a very nice apartment for a couple or a small family. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities are all good quality and comfort!

A little slice of paradise

Beautiful yard... love hearing the creek, frogs, and birds. Len is a super helpful and friendly host. Minutes from the beach! I would stay here again!

Convenient!

Very comfortable suite, beautiful backyard that borders a bird sanctuary. Across the street from campground where we were attending a wedding. Owner was most accommodating.

Tranquil, quiet, starry nights.

Len and Heather were great hosts, thank you. The Blaze King fireplace is excellent, as are the heated floors on cooler nights. During the day, the number of different types of songbirds was incredible. Beautiful place to relax and recharge.

Summerland Gem

We stayed for 4 nights while we were waiting to move into our new home. It suited our needs to the tee! The location would be perfect for anyone hoping to enjoy the area. Walkable to the beach and a great restaurant. The only concern for someone might be ceiling height in certain areas of the apartment. We are both 5’6” and had no issues.

Sensational Summerland Stay

My wife and I had an awesome experience staying at Len & Heather’s. It started with them allowing us to check in early. We forgot to bring a couple of items which they brought to us. Their living accommodation were perfect and we loved the comfortable bed. The setting outside where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening bbq was beautiful and peaceful with trees and a bird sanctuary to enjoy and brook running through the back. My wife saw a doe walking through the yard. Outstanding time - we’ll be back and recommend to others - thank you Len & Heather

Excellent vacation home

Wow! The rental had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The rugs in the bedroom and front room were a real bonus. The front room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. I didn’t think I would use the washing machine and dryer but I quickly found out after a day at the beach were much needed and appreciated. The yard is outstanding and of course you can’t beat the location. The owner’s are very responsive to all inquiries. This is a must place to stay.

How can it not be a 5 star!?

Was a fabulous home to recoup from a cold caught on the air ride there. Oh well. Loved the open concept and loft area. If a swiffer cloth was left I would have used it! TV/radio instructions for dummies we could have used. Enjoyed everything outside of the BC fires fallout. But that was an experience as well!

Quiet oasis

A comfortable and well appointed suite in a quiet natural setting just a short walk from the beach and right beside a bird sanctuary made this home away from home a perfect getaway. Host is friendly, responsive, helpful and provides good local information. Highly recommend.

Amazing spot!

This is a beautiful, spacious property with a lovely backyard to BBQ and play lawn games etc. Location is perfect being walking distance to the water. Len and Heather were very accommodating and responded immediately when we had any concerns or requests. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Quiet Getaway

We recently stayed at Quail's roost. The location is excellent, the oroperty is very well kept, quiet and serene. Plenty of outdoor space. Being a family of four with two small kids it was great to get outside when necessary as the accommodations were a little tight for two active kids, but overall we had a wonderful time. Len was an excellent host and I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet, convenient Okanagan getaway!

A bit short

Nice place. Very clean and well appointed. Near the beach. Unfortunately the ceiling height in the living room, bedroom and bathroom are barely 6 feet. Very inconvenient. Would have been nice to be aware. Should be in the listing

Pleasant for shorter stay

Good experience in general. Property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. We enjoyed the quietness as we had no-one above during our stay. Everything supplied and comfortable accommodation. Would have enjoyed a queen bed rather than double. Nice location near beach.

Just peachy on Peach Orchard rd!

Lovely apartment with everything you need and a great garden to enjoy the sun and bbq. Comfortable bed and very quiet location although close to the beach. Len and Heather and dog Archie are all great!

Lovely Location, Comfortable Suite.

This propery has everything you need to be comfortable. A fully stock kitchen a BBQ, lawn chairs to enjoy the backyard that backs onto the Adams Bird Sanctuary. Enjoyed our evening walks to the Lake.

Quiet, secluded & safe

The suite is perfect for what wanted. We have no interest in being in a hotel setting and eating out with COVID-19. So this allowed us to getaway, tour and view a beautiful area, safely and affordably. We would definitely consider staying there again.
