Large kitchen for mornings with family and friends, 4 nice bedrooms with 3 king size beds, 1 Queen and 1 double, 2 Pack-N-Plays for babies, a mini-crib, large Great Room below with a ping pong table and a large dock! Sleeps 14 in beds! 3 large bathrooms! With couches sleeps 20! Great house for 2 or more families! Enjoy coffee on the porch or cocktails on the dock. All linens are provided for you!! Beautiful lake access and dock for swimming and fishing. It is a short drive to Clemson University or to downtown Seneca! We also have a trash service, FREE wifi!! Summer weekend getaway on lake Hartwell

Spacious home for 6 adults and 5 children. Great access to the lake. Grandchildren loved fishing from the dock.

The rental was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the gameroom! The lake view could be better if the trees were trimmed up. The path to the lake is way steeper than anticipated and could use some sort of stepping stones. The lake was way down so the dock was propped up on the stairs going down to the beach which was unsafe. The dock itself needs work and cobwebs were everywhere. The host was gracious to give us a partial refund b/c the wifi was down for our whole trip. Overall, it was a good stay.

Thank you for your comments. We like to know what we need to address. Spiders are so common and they literally form overnight after we clean them. As far as the dock being connected to the steps that is a must so that when the lake rises it can move up safely. It goes up and down with the rain. Our path is a little steep and that is something we will put in the description so that guests can be aware. Again, thank you for the comments and I am glad you enjoyed your stay despite the WiFi issues!

Great getaway with friends

We had a group of friends wanting to all get together, the house was just the right size with enough beds and space to hang out. Location to Clemson was great as some of our time was spent there.

Great Lake weekend

We had a great time, 3 families with 5 kids between fit easily. The downstairs was a great hangout for the kiddos. Dock was great for our boat.

Perfect for lake getaway

Great location on lake. Lots of space and everything you need. We were vacationing and showing family the area as we are moving to the area. Bring your water toys and fishing gear and enjoy the peaceful setting

Great Spot

Rented out this house for a work get together and ended up convincing everyone they need to love to the lake. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to hopefully coming back next year.

Fantastic visit, with a great lakefront experience. The location and space drove this review rating. Positives included plenty of space for everyone, nice lake access, and responsive communication with the property owner. Negatives included unusable grills, a moldy coffee pot, and many bugs in the outdoor spaces.

Best Father’s Day ever

My son plays football for Appalachian state an he was coming down with his new girlfriend to celebrate his father birthday and father day. We rented this so that we could have all our kids here all under one roof. It’s was awesome. No complaints at all. Will definitely stay here again.

Gramps Camp Family Gathering at the Lake

Best place we have found for our annual gathering! Enough room for each family to have some privacy and a large space to pile most of the cousins together. There were even 2 portacribs for the youngest babies! With the location right in the lake & a dock for our boat, we spent a lot of playtime in the water. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Booked with ease. Accessed property with ease. The house was 82 degrees when we checked in. After 2 hrs of unloading cars drenched in sweat and no decreased temperature and reading one degree higher I contacted the host the AC immediately came on after the phone call. There were a few dead bugs on the floor and sink looks like they might have just sprayed but the house really should’ve been checked prior to guest check in. The water was not hot I was told to read a book provided to learn how to operate the hot water heater setting to get hot water. When cooking dinner on the grill large hornets began to swarm the area surrounding the grill we probably killed about 20 and decided to move the cooking to the front yard for the remainder of the stay. The house was nice. The grass could’ve been cut it was pretty high. Nice dock. Good lake location still had a floating dock with the receding lake water level.

Thank you for your feedback. We do have someone check before a guest checks in but did not mention that it was hot. We called immediately on a Friday night and got it fixed the following morning and the temperature did go down to the 70’s. It had a bad capacitor which was replaced. Instructions are sent to every guest through the VRBO app including where to find them inside the house. I will now upload the document separately so there is no confusion as to what to do at check in so thank you for that feedback. We try to take all suggestions and fix what we can. Thank you again for staying at the Tiger Den.

July 4th

This was a perfect house for our family! The kids enjoyed their own space in the basement with their own living room area and ping pong table! House had plenty of seating upstairs in the living room area and outside. Beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean. Loved all the Clemson decor as well! Highly recommend for a great family vaca spot!

Perfect vacation

My three daughters, husbands and kids vacation together each year. We wanted a lake experience this year and Tiger Den was perfect. The house was spacious for us (13 people). The dock was great! We spent a lot of time on the water. All my daughters thought it was one of our best vacations and the house played a big part of that. We would definitely go there again.

Nice lake house

Everything was exactly as described. There was the perfect amount of space for our entire family. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Stores were close enough by to make it easy to run out for supplies. Perfect for Clemson graduation!

Perfect Clemson Home Away From Home

My family gathered to celebrate my son's graduation from Clemson and had the most wonderful weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of room for all of us, and being on the lake for the weekend was the icing on the cake. Jeanne was super helpful along the way helping me with details so that I could plan. The house is 15 minutes from Clemson University, which was super convenient, as well. Definitely recommend whether you are attending a Clemson event, or just getting away for a lake weekend. As I told Jeanne, this is the perfect home away from home!

Almost Perfect

Would have been five stars if not for: Yard maintenance guy coming during our stay kicking up dust and interrupting us (should come between checkout and check in) and lots of centipede/miillipedes (don't know which) in basement.
