We require an "official" guest list with all names and ages, including daytime guests, and any pets visiting or staying.

We are proudly a true VRBO'er, the most important part being By Owner. That means we offer the attention to detail, cleanliness, and amenities that you would expect from owners who are intimately and directly involved with the care and management of their cabin. It also means we have another life! and are NOT on duty 24/7 (except for emergencies of course).

We are giving you our best, and we expect your best in return. We do not care to be treated like the Economy Inn. We hope you can tell the difference and treat us accordingly. We are not your best option for bargain hunters, but do provide one of the best values available for quality of your intimate lake front experience.

This is our third property, we have been doing this for over 16 years. We didn't mean to get into this business, but here we are! Our two cabins in the North Georgia Mountains have almost 100% 5 star ratings, over 140 reviews. And then we thought - LAKE HOUSE!!!!

We give you the kind of vacation rental experience that you want. Our attention to detail is legendary, and not just in our own minds! Just take look see...

**We provide 2 adult kayaks, 2 kids kayaks, a paddle boat, and all sizes of life jackets required. Please check water temperatures if you intend on using water toys.**

We really enjoyed our stay! This part of the lake is perfect. The house was nice and the beds were comfortable, which is a big deal to us. The owner was nice and stayed in contact. We would like to return next year.

Clean and comfortable vacation home

The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Very convenient. Had everything we needed. We also loved that the back yard wasn't too sloped and was close to the dock. Hope to stay again!

Awesome House, Location and very enjoyable!!

We enjoyed the house VERY much! Everything we needed was there to use. The owner was very helpful with any questions and the notes around the house were answered any questions he didn't. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again! Thank you Steve for an awesome stay!

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The home was lovely and the lake setting was gorgeous. Our son brought his boat and we were able to use a slip at the dock. The house was stocked with everything we needed and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again!

Clemson Parents Weekend

The house and outdoor area with the lake is really nice. The house has plenty of room, is fully stocked, was clean and very comfortable. The outdoor deck, hot tub, dock and easy lake accessibility was awesome! Steven was easy to communicate with and responsive and the instructions were very specific and clear. We definitely recommend this property and plan to stay again in the future!

You’ll love it..!

We came in for a football game and the location was perfect. Easy access to Clemson and to the town of Senica and Anderson. The place was immaculate, very thoughtful on how the house was presented. Instructions were easy to follow. Beautiful location on a nice quiet part of the lake and far enough from the neighbors to feel secluded. Water was perfect for swimming. Sunrises and sunsets on the dock made it ideal for coffee in the morning and a cocktails in the afternoon, if you get a little chilly just slip right into the hot tub. Perfect for our family and hope to return.

Stillwater Cove

Very clean. Lots of space. Beautiful setting. Trash requirements were a little unsettling but we managed. Bathroom toilets were slow and not really effective. Had to plunge one upstairs bathroom even though it was only used for liquid waste. Minor issues for a very comfortable house.

Beautifully appointed home on Lake Hartwell - highly recommend!!

We were down in the area to attend our son's graduation from Clemson and this property really had it all! Beautiful, tranquil lakefront location with plenty of seating on the back deck to enjoy the view. The dock was an awesome place to enjoy both coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night, either on the swing or the chairs. We saw plenty of wildlife while relaxing out there. We have stayed at plenty of VRBO properties and I have to say, this so far, has been the most well-appointed property, as well as the cleanest one we have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed and everything was CLEAN!! We don't have one negative thing to say about this property or Steve, our host - beautiful home, thank you for sharing it with us!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Second time as great as the first

This was our second visit for a week at the lake, and it was a perfect week. The lake is just beautiful. We spent everyday fishing off the dock (when we weren’t moving kids into college). It’s peaceful and serene. We also explored the area a bit and found some cool restaurants within a 20 minute drive. The house is well equipped with a lot of nice touches. I’m going to have to buy heated mattress pads! We never needed anything that wasn’t there. We only had 4, but could have fit way more. We will be back!

Wonderful family Thanksgiving

This property was amazing. The house was warm and cozy with amazing views and lots of amenities. My family and I (6 of us) stayed for an extended Thanksgiving break and hosted Thanksgiving dinner for family that lives in the area. The owner has taken the care to leave notes on just about everything you would need to know (hot tub, fireplace, kayaks, dock, checkout, etc) which helped considerably. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, etc you should need. We brought things from home, many we didn’t need. We had roughly 12-14 people over for dinner and were able to sit everyone comfortably because of the two dining tables and bench style chairs. The only issue we had was the 2nd TV in the living room and the TV in the master BR wouldn’t work for some reason (probably user error). We didn’t watch TV much so it wasn’t a major issue but my 79yr old mom likes to watch her cooking show in the AM. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy, cabin like home with gorgeous lake views! We would definitely rent it again.

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay

I wish we could have stayed longer to experience the lake. Very nice house overall. Clean upon arrival and everything was as I would expect. The owner called when I didn’t answer a few emails to ensure I received instructions for access, which was appreciated. We stayed here for a Clemson game and everyone was very welcoming in town and at the stadium. Classy bunch. It was a top notch experience. I would stay again.

Nice Get-Away

The property manager was upfront with expectations, but easy to communicate with. The home was exactly what we needed, well stocked and clean. I look forward to spending a longer vacation there during summer months!

Wonderful Lake House

We had a great time staying in this lovely home for 10 nights. The location on the lake is just beautiful. Days were spent kayaking and fishing. We spent almost every evening having a cocktail on the deck looking over the lake. It was peaceful and quiet. The house is about 15-17 minutes away from grocery stores or restaurants, but it was an easy pleasant drive to stock up. The house is extremely well equipped. It has good internet, Satellite TV, every kitchen utensil you can think of, plenty of towels and bedding, grill with extra propane tank, washer/dryer, etc. We never needed anything. The living areas are spacious, and the bedrooms are well set up to sleep a larger group. We only had 4 and were able to spread out and be very comfortable. The owner was very professional and polite. They do have a few rules. They require a guest list, no big parties, etc. That’s what I would do if I was renting my home, and it made me feel like we were renting a cared-for property. We are already planning our next visit! Next time we are renting jet-skis!
