The house was clean with a lot of amenities. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook with. Instructions were simple and they didn't add a bunch of "check-out instructions" on top of the cleaning fee which was nice. Kylan was quick to text back and help in anyway we needed. Only downsides were the check-in/check-out times were a bit early/late and the wi-fi was not great. I just relied on my cell network instead. Secluded yet close to anything I needed. Great place!

Overall was an amazing place to stay and have a family reunion hiking trip! It was clean, well stocked kitchen with all the cooking equiptment you need and a huge fridge! The hot tub was amazing and the back porch is great for stargazing in the early morning. Really a gem! Thanks for having us!

Overall we really liked this house. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils needed. Hot tub was perfect and hearing the crickets at nice was amazing.

Quiet Property with Room for All

We stayed here with another family and had the outdoor space for kids to enjoy with enough indoor space to hold our large party comfortably.

Great private place

Lovely place to stay in the woods. Unit is great and clean and has everything you need. hot tub is awesome, especially in the evenings.

Beautiful house, clean and comfortable. Green, well-maintained lawn and grounds. Kitchen was well-stocked (dishes, coffee maker, microwave, etc.). Host even provided a pound of coffee. Area quiet and inviting. Perfect for activities near White Salmon. We had nine people in our group and the bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient. Master bath had an odd configuration: tiny toilet area but large walk-in closet. Great shower. Heating and cooling units were very efficient and effective. Hot tub and outside seating.Driveway is small gravel road with homemade sign. Easy to miss. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. We would stay there again.

Neil, thank you for your kind review! Just one clarification for future guests: the sign for our road isn't "homemade." It is a county issued sign that must comply with National Scenic Area regulations, which place restrictions on signage size, lighting, and visibility. The home is easy to find by following the detailed directions and pin drop included in our check in instructions. Thank you again for staying with us. We truly enjoyed hosting you!

Great family weekend

Our large family of grandparents, adult children and 6 grandkids had plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a big hit after skiing at cooper spur about 30 minute drive. White salmon is a beautiful little town just a few miles away.

Great house and location!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was very clean and well stocked. The backyard setup was amazing, with plenty places to relax and play yard games. Host was very easy to work with and had great communication. Would definitely recommend this rental. Thanks!

Spacious, comfortable and beautiful!

We were here for our son’s wedding at nearby Gorgecrest and I only wish we’d had more time to experience the house and surroundings. It had everything we needed and more, and the outdoor spaces were gorgeous. Thank you so much!

Beautiful!

My sisters & I stayed four nights while exploring the Columbia River Gorge. The location is perfect-conveniently located but private. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfy & the outdoor space is relaxing and peaceful. Communication with Kylan was very easy. The provided digital guestbook includes all the information needed for a carefree stay.

Great for multiple families!

We choose this home due to it’s close proximity to Rocky Hill Events where my daughter got married. The home was great for multiple families however it is wise to check into the rules when you are booking this property for a wedding. The home was very clean and comfortable for our families!

Perfect family retreat

We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

One of our favorite meals was preparing roasted salmon, asparagus and salad and eating together with a bottle of good Oregon wine. We enjoyed the outside space in the evenings. While no one used the hot tub, it is a nice feature. The birthday girl thanks you again for the nice assortment of fruit you sent her.

Just too easy…

Very thorough, clean and well equipped. You can tell the owners and those responsible for our stay actually care. It was wonderful for our family. And cool amenities! Fire pit and Spa. Made celebrating my dads 80th very very special

Ladies Ski Retreat 2023

Exceptional host. Lovely home, and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at in our 32 years of our annual cousins retreat. The kitchen had everything we could have wished for. We also had wild turkeys and deer in the yard. Wonderful hot tub. Thank you Kaylen and Jake.
