This bright, well-appointed cabin is the perfect retreat for an individual or couple any season of the year. Recently remodeled without losing any of its charm, the cabin boasts beautiful views from every room. Snuggle up by the fire in winter and watch the snow fall outside the large living room windows. In the summer months, enjoy coffee on the deck and morning walks along the river. Hiking trailheads are right out the front door. If your plan is to partake in world-class whitewater rafting on the White Salmon, Cabin 19 is just a short walk from the pullout. For guests looking to recharge through quieter affairs: a crackling fire and clawfoot tub may be all you need. This special retreat feels remote despite its convenience to everything: White Salmon, Hood River, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, wineries horseback riding, rafting, hiking, kayaking, fishing, windsurfing. biking, berry picking (summer), snow sports/play (winter.)

If your more into being away from the town, convenance for walking your dog, close to the Salmon River and easy access to the trails this is perfect location. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot. A/C kept it nice and cool. We will be back and glad we found this place!!

The place is so cute but there's no place to put any clothes. This is a ' live out of your suitcase/bag' kind of place. We were in town for a graduation so there were lots of people in town and you could rely on going home at night to a serene, calming situation, and the river is right by so the sounds of flowing water creates a relaxing atmosphere. The place is boho/chic cute!! We really liked the place and would rent again:)

Well stocked and very comfortable cabin. Quiet area on a private road. Felt like we were staying in nature, but close enough to pick up pizza and enjoy the surrounding activities.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was exactly as advertised and exactly what I was looking for. The location strikes a perfect balance between being close enough to town for convenience while still feeling peaceful and remote.One of my favorite aspects was being surrounded by the park and forested area. It provided the perfect setting for my Saint Bernard, Leda, and me to enjoy our morning walks before starting the day.The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable.The host was excellent at communicating before our arrival, throughout our stay, and during checkout. Everything was smooth, easy, and exactly as described.I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable basecamp to enjoy the White Salmon area.

I love this place! The setting was magical, private, and peaceful. The cabin was perfectly furnished, clean, and with lots of tasteful touches. I can’t wait to come back!

Please note that the cabin is 1) hard to find and hidden behind a gate that makes it seem like it is private property/ inaccessible2) lacks LTE/5G which makes finding check in instructions in your email all the more difficult to open the lock box and access the key, had to drive to a restaurant in white salmon to get internet again3) loses power on occasion (and thus heat and wifi as well)4) area is subject to planned power outages over which you have no control over 5) Had a slightly musty smell which was the least of our worries compared to the other concerns

We are sorry you had a difficult time. The power outage was something out of everyone’s control. I’m sorry you had endure the inconvenience it was out for about hour and a 1/2 but you decided to leave. We refunded you the night with many apologies. As far as the gate, gosh I don’t what to say but it is private property that’s why we have a gate. Good luck in your future travels.

We were frustrated with finding the place. The address listed wasn’t the same address of the location. The instructions were not very clear. The address said northwestern lake rd but the unit is on Condit Dr. once we got there the instructions were to get the house key out of the lock box and said the code was *176 but it wasn’t right. On a different part of the instructions, there it gave a door code which was the number that actually opened the lock box. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place. Everything was clean and stocked well. The outside could use some TLC. We didn’t see any instructions about checking out. Typically there is a book or at least something listed somewhere. We didn’t know until later that this information was on the vrbo check in - we were very sorry, and apologized to the host for not stripping the bed or removing garbage. The host said we were supposed to take the garbage but they have no pick up. I’m wondering where we were supposed to take it. We left the unit clean and tidy otherwise

Everything we wanted

This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. Welcoming. Clean. Super comfy mattress. Wood ready to go for evening fires in the wood burning stove. So many thoughtful touches in the kitchen too. It felt private and remote while being less than 10 miles from town. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Studying Getaway

Great little house. Little difficult to find on Google Maps as address doesn’t coincide with latitude and longitude of the house on the Vrbo website. There is a clawfoot tub but no whirlpool or spa jet tub that was listed. Host was relatively responsive but there was difficulty connecting to the WiFi because the password wasn’t at the site and with the remote location, I had to go into town to have reliable service to contact host. Overall very happy.

What a wonderful place to spend a quiet stay. It was close to the river and had nice little trail to walk or sit on bench. Also a good location to venture out and go sight seeing. Would stay again:)
