Lani Kai Village 211 - Beautifully Remodeled Condo with Indirect Gulf views from Balcony!

Welcome to our Lani Kai Village condo, located in the heart of Gulf Shores. You will find everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The condo is walking distance to the Hangout, the National Shrimp Festival, and other restaurants and shops. This second floor condo (across the street from the beach / partial Gulf view) is a 2BR/2BA that sleeps a maximum of 6 with a king bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

It's just a short walk across the street to the deeded beach access and the white sand of the Gulf. Sit back and enjoy the gulf view from the living room balcony. The complex also has 2 pools, one for families and one for adults only. Park under the condo in the two designated covered parking and walk up two flights to condo.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils to cook or bake. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience.

To help you stay connected, the condo provides free Wi-Fi. The master bedroom comes furnished with a California king-size bed and private bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom comes with a double-bed. The second bath is a tub/shower combination and located in the hall. Both Bedrooms and living room come with flat-screen television. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests.

Interior Appointments: Fully equipped kitchen, 3 TVs, 3 DVD players, washer and dryer, balcony, and high-end cotton linens.

Complex Amenities: Two outdoor pools, grilling area, deeded beach access. Parking is limited to two (2) cars per unit.

Please note: Lani Kai Village does not have an elevator. The unit is located on the second floor, so you will need to walk up two flights of stairs to access unit.

Great location with a view

The location could not be better! Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance, plus the beach right across the street! The property was clean and sufficient for our needs. Plenty of space for 4 adults.

this sleeps 6 but I'd say no more than 4 people b/c of the size. And be prepared to climb 2 sets of stairs as there is no elevator. We didn't mind but if someone can't climb stairs, this may not be your best choice. Location was perfect and super easy access to the beach right across the street.

Cutest lil place by the water

Very cute, comfortable and convenient. Directly across from the water. Essentials provided. Shopping areas in close proximity. Area is very quiet. Property is family friendly. Condo is perfect for any group of 6 or less. Not too big and not too small. Thank you for making our vacation memorable!

Perfect for the price!

The condo is second floor and located about one mile from gulf shores parkway, the “center” of the area. Such an easy walk to stores and restaurants and access to the beach directly across from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. The lighting in the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms was a little dark, so if you’re going to do makeup I suggest you use the other bathroom or open the blinds to let in more light; not a big deal though at all. I would definitely stay here again, you don’t pay the high beach front price but you get beach views from the balcony and you’re right across the street, a win win!

The balcony is the best selling point, as the breeze is awesome and the views are beautiful. The 2 flights of stairs are tiring but do able. The sofa sleepers is best for kids and we could never figure out the dishwasher. But we had a wonderful time as we always do at Lani Kai. This was our 5th yr as condo renters and we always try different ones. It was especially nice to have a second bathroom, that’s a big plus. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise w/us.

Too many stairs, and too close to the road.

Nothing was stated about 2 flights of stairs and the proximity of overlooking highway 182. The noise level started early morning and lasted throughout the day, which made sleeping in and sitting on the balcony annoying. The living room furniture is worn out and could stand replacing. The Gulf shore park is very close and provides 10 miles of paved trails, which we enjoyed daily along with the beautiful beach. With the exception of the 2 flights of stairs, to bring in luggage and groceries, we did enjoy our stay.

Dingy & difficulties with Wi-Fi & TV

Dingy - I guess it was clean, but everything was dingy - the pics are not current of the space. Broken screens on deck, moldy wood on deck, broken chairs on deck, rickety flimsy furniture/lamps, dishwasher would not work, kept knocking our legs on the extra large frame of the bed in the bedroom that faces the pool area. Too many knick knacks collecting dust, the art by the sink in the hall bath was covered in spots of probably soap or hair products - this kind of stuff just made it feel not completely clean.This is not a newly remodeled unit. That is a misleading statement.There were bad storms predicted all through the south during our stay - we could not get to real "live" TV to watch Weather Channel or any local weather. The password provided with check-in instructions was not correct. Had to wait until following morning to get new password from the property mgmt. Then we had to use our own personal streaming log ins to download apps to try to get some live weather reporting. There should have been better instructions or a much easier way to handle this. The weather was bad so we spent more time inside than we would have preferred - so this frustration stood out.The responsiveness of the property management was very good. Not having an ice maker was surprising. And only 2 ice trays to make ice.Overall disappointed with the unit, but location is good.

Great location right across from the beach with a great beach view.

Clean with great location and close to Bahama Bob's, Hangout, etc. Only downside was having to climb the stairs but only an issue moving everything in during check-in and check-out. I would stay again for sure.

This unit was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Has a great ocean view even from across the road. Quick, easy walk to beach. Absolutely loved it here and will stay here again!

Cleaning on top of cleaning and yet still dirty.

So the vacation itself was great. The property was in the exact location the listing said and everything was turning out so nicely. My 2 close friends do a road trip every year to different US cities. Sometimes we get there prefectly on time and others like this trip we get there super early. This year we got to this property super early. I emailed to ask If I could park in the parking until check in. They went above expectations and let us into the property 3 hours early. Everything was going fine until my friend found blood on the bed in the suite. Then we found food under the bed. These things let us know that maybe the cleaning crew wasn’t as particular as we would have liked but we adjusted and just slept with out personal bedding that we had brought. We didn’t complain to the owners because it might have just been that they were rushing the cleaning job as we had gotten there 3 hours early. Well the rest of our vacation went on beautifully. Then the last day came and my friend had read off a list of things that we had to do before leaving or a cleaning charge would occur. We rented the property through VRBO and a lot of cleaning fees were already collected. The property required we took our own trash wash everything we’ve used so on and so forth. Basically the list was everything that a extended stay hotel would have done for free. We spent the last 3 hours in the rental cleaning as to not get a fee. That set the tone for the 12 hour road trip back home. Very uncomfortable.
