Silver Terrace is the little-known name of this small neighborhood just south of the University of San Diego. It is a very centrally located one just minutes from numerous highly popular destinations such as Sea World, Mission Bay Park, Mission Beach, Old Town, Downtown, Fashion Valley Mall, and La Jolla. Within a 10-minute walk, you'll be within range of a trolley stop, multiple coffee shops, a brewery tasting room, numerous restaurants, and a YMCA.

Safe and quiet

Nice, cute and clean place, we traveled with small dog and had a back yard, so that was nice. Close to restaurants and beaches.

Cute little house!! Perfect for what we needed. House was very clean. The owner stepped up on the towels! Check in was super easy and the owner was awesome to deal with! Will definitely use again if we are in town.

Beach Bungalow!

This was a perfect house! We had family in to. is it and this was perfect accommodations. The owner was easy to contact and we appreciated that! We will be rented this lovely home again.

Great short stay

Great shirt stay in San Diego to meet up with daughter. Our family was comfortable and could get around easily from this location. Our two dogs were comfortable as well. Not that we were there much as we were exploring the dog beaches. Lots of food and beaches to access. Jimmy was very responsive.

Charming bungalow

Amazing location for anything in San Diego! Old Town, Zoo, Sea World, beaches, and even downtown! The home had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Cute home

This cute place is close to Old Town and a short drive to the airport and beaches. My dogs and I enjoyed relaxing in the fenced in yard!

Marine boot camp graduation trip

This house was perfect for our group of 4. It was off the beaten path, but within 15-20 minutes of all our activities. Including Marine boot camp graduation, the zoo, and beaches. Communication with owner was amazing. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Christmas with the family

Although we made the most of our stay. It would have been nice to know that there was no heat in the house, other than the space heater. And the fact that the pictures of the house shows to bathrooms. Was not happy with that, because my grandkids couldn’t be with us.

Nice house in quiet neighborhood

The house was on a quiet street and nicely furnished. Host’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. Comfortable beds and nice linens. Provided some good coffee. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great visit with son before deployment

Nice little house

The overall stay was very nice, there were 6 adults and a kid staying with us and it was enough room without being on top of each other. It says AC, just know that it's only in the bedrooms. It was a very hot weekend and the living room got quiet stuffy and hot most days, but there were fans available. Check-in and checkout was super easy and the owner responded quickly. Great location with plenty of parking for everyone. We weren't in the yard a lot but it was very nice, the house itself is very cute but could definitely use a little love. Overall, we had a very nice stay and appreciate the owner accommodating our group.

I love to travel, and when I first started hosting as a young, single professional in my early 30s, it was a great way to subsidize that passion. Now, I'm a little older, have a family of my own, and a few gray hairs to boot. My traveling habit has unfortunately been reduced as time commitments pile up. So now, this service helps me provide for my family while still allowing me to meet new people from other parts of the world.

As a host, I like to give my guests their space but can be available at a moment's notice (I live 5 minutes away).

I look forward to continuing my vacation rentals to meet new people and share our experiences.
