No smokers, FIRM. Cozy, yet spacious with wood and tile floors and carpeted bedrooms.( No shoes on carpet and if you cannot abide by this because of not being able to always remove shoes, please do not ask to rent my home, as having carpets cleaned after each stay is an additional 400.00) Master bedroom has queen size bed and bathroom with shower. Second bedroom has a queen size bed with a bathroom that has tub and shower. Large screened in lanai off the kitchen as well as screened in front area to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Motion security lights and security camera.
Our home has a washer and dryer for your use, COMPLIMENTARY and NOT included in nightly fee
We are on a corner lot in a quiet, safe neighborhood just 3 miles off Highway 41 (Tamiami Trail) Located just minutes from the nearest Walmart and Publix grocery store and about 5 minutes from Lowes, Home Depot, TJMax, Hobby Lobby, Panera, Starbucks, Apple Bees, etc. We are located about 5 miles from Warm Mineral Springs, about 13-15 miles from the nearest beaches, including Venice Fishing Pier where you will find the famous Sharky s restaurant. About 22 miles to the #1 beach in North America, Siesta key Beach and about 20 miles to the Boca Grande lighthouse and beach. We are about 20 min from Port Charlotte Town Center and 45 min from Punta Gorda's Fisherman's Village, and about an hour from St Petersburg
Our home does have a RING doorbell. No pets and no parties . Back lanai door is protected by motion light and camera. Only registered guests sleep over and never more than 4 people in our home, FIRM. No garage usage, private driveway. No boats, campers, no trailers. Door code will be texted/emailed to guests 24 hours prior to check in

Beautiful home to relax in

This is a beautiful home with all of the necessities to relax and enjoy your stay. The home is in a friendly neighborhood, fenced back yard for privacy and a great covered back porch that we found ourselves lounging each morning w/our coffee. Sheila was very responsive to any of our questions and very kind.

Lovely overall stay

This will be the second time I have completed a review for this lovely property, which had everything we could wish for. It was in a great position for shops, restaurants and walks. Beautiful house and very functional Lots of little amenities throughout Lanai in back so nice 10-15 minutes from nice restaurants 30 minutes from beaches So much better than any hotel What a bargain

Northport with good freeway access and quite area

30 minutes from the beach , with good transport links is a good place to start. The house is location is ok, the neighbourhood is quite quiet, we had everything we needed bar the dishwasher, lots of rules but no issues at all .

Relaxing

It was myself and my wife we come here often and aren't really concerned with having a lot of things to do. We typically just enjoy the beach and some restaurants and want to stay in a clean relaxing environment and this vrbo met all of those needs for us!

Comfortable Home in Nice Location

Many thanks to Sheila and her husband for renting their home to us. It was clean, comfortable and was well stocked with everything we needed for our 6 week stay in Florida. The location was great - 5 minutes to the Legacy Trail for walks, close to Nokomis and Englewood beaches, lots of nature preserves in the area, and plenty of places to eat and shop in NorthPort and Port Charlotte. And Sheila was always in touch with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful and very comfortable, in a very quiet neighborhood, fenced back yard for privacy. Sheila was very responsive to any of your questions and very kind. I would love to rent from her again and again and again. :-)

Notes, notes, notes

“Helpful”, cautionary and restriction notes all over the house, overwhelming! These are posted on the cabinets, tables, mirrors, etc., No sink disposal, Dishwasher does not work, Don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink, Ice maker problem, No light in master bathroom shower, Old tv in master bedroom, no service, Don’t open the sliding glass doors to the lanai, Many other windows and doors are not to be opened, No shoes on carpet, if carpets left dirty, you pay for cleaning the carpet, Turn the thermostat to 80 degrees when leaving the house, No access to garage (I travel with a bike, had to store it on the lanai)(car left out in polen, needed cleaned daily), No access to several other areas in house, No smoking! Two bedroom, two bathrooms, but, no guests allowed without registration, Clean sheets and towels before leaving - makes late start on departure - or pay $40 ($20 per load) to clean laundry and towels (deducted from deposit), No pets allowed, Second bedroom with futon - not really a bed, Fast internet, Clean, Nice large lanai and screened front porch, Family room tv has one hdmi port - available for roku, fire stick or any other streaming device (need extension chord to reach outlet though), Lots of board games, Safe, nice neighborhood, but, house is on a main road, Fenced in backyard, About 3.5 miles to Publix, Walgreens, McDonalds, Beef o Bradys.

Easy to get to, with good access to highways if you need them.

Clean, well organized with easy to follow instructions. We even got beach chairs and towels.

Nice vacation

It’s a clean, convenient house. Nice neighborhood. Located on a main road, but still pretty quiet. Within couple of miles to the warm mineral springs park. Short drive to nice beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed, clean and cute home! This home had everything we needed and we loved the decor--it was very welcoming and comfortable! The homeowner is super sweet, very accommodating, and communicates promptly. The home is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood and is conveniently located to shopping and beaches. Holiday Vacation

What an outstanding property to stay at when you're vacationing around the Venice area! The home was spacious and very clean. The decor was beauriful, and the amenities available in the home were fantastic. The owners communicated with me before, during, and after my stay in their luxurious home. I would highly recommend this property if you're looking for a place that has the comforts of home.

Wonderful, Clean and Comfortable Home!

From the very beginning we had great communication with Sheila who was extremely nice, accommodating and wonderful to work with. We came from out of state to spend time with a relative in North Port and found that the home had everything we needed, comfortable beds and sofa, outdoor furniture, clean and maintained, pleasantly decorated, very well stocked and organized. Even the floor plan was perfect for us. The home is enjoyable and welcoming, neighborhood peaceful and location great for our needs in North Port. We would love to work with Sheila again and to stay in this very beautiful home away from home.

We do live in our home but, having 12 children and 38 grandchildren, we travel from Florida to Illinois and to Phoenix . That leaves our home vacant to allow others to enjoy our Florida weather!! Please be respectful of our rules

We bought a number of timeshares many years ago so I traveled a lot with our Homeschool and husband always said "find us a retirement home" when we headed to Florida. We found our little home in North Port and the kids and I painted and fixed it up, inside and out... a LOT of memories.
We are about 5 miles from Warm Mineral Springs and about a 25 minute drive to nearest beach. I also sell my TimeShare weeks, if there is an interest

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We are located in a quiet neighborhood and yet just minutes from major shopping and 20 min or so to the beach. Less than a two hour drive to Tampa and about a 3 hour drive to Orlando. We are a pet free and smoker free home.
