Walk to the chair lift, it’s only a quarter of a mile away! Swim in the river, it’s in the backyard! Campfires on the river or fires in the two wood stoves make this a home where memories are created and fun is endless!

Ultimate Vacation Rental! Ideal for three families with children! Multiple living levels, two kitchens, six bedrooms, three full-bathrooms!

Sleeps 15 total:

1. Master Bedroom has one King bed, deck overlooking river and attached full bathroom on top floor (sleeps 2)
2. Bedroom next to Master has bunk beds, a single twin and a trundle bed (sleeps 3-4)
3. Bedroom on loft level has bunk beds and a trundle bed (sleeps 2-3)
4. Bedroom on main level across from kitchen has a full bed and a twin bed (sleeps 2-3)
5. Bedroom on lower level has one queen bed and attached full bathroom (sleeps 2)
6. Other bedroom on lower level has bunk beds, a single twin and a trundle bed (sleeps 3-4)

Amazing Stay

Highly recommended for a family trip to Loon. Jonathan is a great host (he even left us some local beer) and everything came as advertised. Such a short walk/drive to Loon, it's especially good for the little ones who are starting to ski. Overall, and awesome time was had by all and we loved it!

Fresh snow

The property was as described and in a great location for skiing Loon! Being on the river with beautiful views and a working wood stove added so much to the awesome energy in the home. We had a blast. Thank you for sharing your home. I will be back next year. Cheers!

Loon Mtn Stay

The house was a great size. Location at the Loon Mtn Resort was great for the kids and us adults also. Being on the river was great. Games available helped with family entertainment with the games we already brought. Having two refrigeraters was a plus, Wood available for fires was a plus. The size of the deck was great for outsided cooking. My son and I brought a smoker and griddle that helped with cooking for a large family group. The living room spot was great for the whole family to gather. The location at Loon Mountain was very close to trails and family entertainment. Jon was very easy to communicate with when I had questions. The information list was very helpful with anything we needed to know about the house.

Great Location!

My family stayed here in the middle of August. This house is right on the stream near Loon Mountain Resort; just minutes off the highway. I cannot stress how nice it was to be able to just step outside and hang-out right on the stream (complete with fire-pit and lounge chairs), without having to get in the car and drive. The natural setting was very relaxing. The stream water was a tad too cold for adults, but the kids didn't mind it as much. The great room was the primary hang-out room for us. Jon, our point of contact, was responsive to all my questions and requests. The only downsides... The house could use a little bit of an update to the carpet and the deck in the back looks like it could use a coat of paint. The main floors bathroom door was difficult to close and didn't have a lock. You'll also have to drive your trash to the town center. However, none of these issues detracted from the overall experience.

Amazing River Views

The photos of the river do not do it justice. The kids and adults spent most of the time outside by the river and the views were amazing. The kids loved exploring on the rocks by the river and the adults enjoyed the multiple fire pits overlooking the river. It’s such a special spot! Less than 5 minute walk to the base of Loon which made it so easy to take younger kids. Close proximity to the highway and getting groceries and supplies in town. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. Overall I would rent this house again.

A Wonderful Vacation Venue

The house served as a wonderful setting for our extended family’s multi-generational, week-long summer vacation in the White Mountains. - Fantastic, peaceful, natural setting with beautiful views situated on the river - The house was showing its age and in need of some maintenance and updates - House was designed for winter, not summer – baseboard heating with controllers in all rooms for winter months; the one air conditioner (in main kitchen/dining room) was inadequate to cool all of the living area. The three upper floor bedrooms got hot in the 90F+ summer heatwave - several fans and cool nights helped to moderate. - The rental rate was on the high side.

Great River House!

I recently stayed with my wife, our two young children, my sister’s family with their two young kids and our parents. The house was a great size to accommodate the 10 of us! The kids loved playing in the big living room, the dining table fit all of us comfortable and everyone absolutely loved playing in the river! We were not sure how swimming would be given the low water levels, but we found ourselves spending a couple hours each day in there to avoid the heat, the water was waste deep and great for playing in. There were some nice sandy spots for our 2 and 4 year olds to stand/sit in and throw the abundant rocks. Constant supervision of course. From the house we also enjoyed visiting local adventures such as the loon gondola and polar caves, the old man on the mountain and local restaurants all a short drive. Hope to stay again as the kids get older.

Awesome river house

Had a great stay at the river house. Spent lots of time outdoors on the river rocks and wood seating around the fire pit. The house is as described with plenty of space for cooking meals, comfortable beds, and spending family time together playing games and hanging out.

Serenity by the river

A great spot to get away with family and friends to just relax by the Pemi. 5 minutes away from civilization in Lincoln/Woodstock for dining/provisions. Would recommend this location for groups, since the ground floor has it's own entrance and kitchen. We loved sleeping with the slider open to hear the river.

Foliage & hiking weekend

Perfect location, close to many of our favorite trails and minutes from Lincoln town center. Loved sitting on river rocks steps away from the house after a long day on the trail, and sitting by the outdoor fire pit with the river as the backdrop. Second time staying in the house this year, it worked out great both times. A few minutes walk from the ski slopes as well. Seamless check-in/checkout process. Did not need any assistance from the host, but Jon was very responsive to any logistical items.

Riverfront in Lincoln

Stayed with a group of friends in late August. A short drive to stores and restaurants in Lincoln and hiking trails in the White Mountains. After the hike enjoy a dinner on the terrace and the sounds of the river as you go to bed.

Riverside Paradise

This home was amazing. The location on the river cannot be topped. The kids spent hours just tubing up and down the river right in the backyard. Close to trails, restaurants and just a walk to Loon Mountain Resort. Absolutely five star.

Amazing Property

The only way to summarize our stay is - perfect. As a group of guys getting away for Mountain Biking at Loon and adventures exploring the surrounding area, we found ourselves not wanting to leave the backyard & river. As explained by the owner, the property sucks you in and now we understand. Host provided us with an excellent hike and food options were on point. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to come back in the future!

Great area but disappointed in the cleanliness of the house.

This was a dirty house. It smelled of mold in each room not just a seasonal mold but a deep mold smell, the carpet was filthy as was evident in the amount of dirt we vacuumed up , the stair railings were grimy and cleaning them was disgusting, the tile floors needed to be mopped twice by us before moving things into the house. We informed Jon who said he had trouble with the cleaning company and he had not been visiting the house. He reimbursed us a small amount for our cleaning efforts. I had higher expectations for linens and kitchen supplies for that amount of money. My family were troopers and we did not let it spoil our time. The Loon area is a wonderful area to visit and the house was large and right on the water. If the house is deep cleaned and better maintained I would recommend it.

Exceptional home with even better host

The property is breathtaking and the house has everything that we needed and then some. I spoke to the host throughout our stay asking him various questions ranging from where to get a drink or to ask about the house. He was more than enthusiastic in answering as well as very quick. I have already shared this property with family and friends. This app needs more host like this one.

Beautiful and convenient

The house is in a perfect location for year round activities. The family room is gorgeous and the bedrooms are sufficient for a good size party (especially if have lots of kids). Jon is very easy to deal with and responsive. Would absolutely visit again.

Great stay!

The house was perfect for our weekend ski weekend. Very clean, well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place has lots of room to spread out and relax after a day of skiing. And I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer - it's location right on the river can't be beat. Jon was an excellent host - reaching out to make sure we were enjoying our stay and that we had everything we needed. I'd highly recommend!

Idyllic Setting Year Round

This property lived up to the beautiful photos listed on the website. The babbling brook is spectacular and the living room is a delightful spot from which to enjoy It poured during our stay and that only added to the fun because we got to see the river swell and slowly recede over 24-hours. This is a great place to stay regardless of the weather or time of year. it. The host was extremely helpful and professional.

Right on the river doesn’t get any better

Stayed here with 3 families with 3 kids and some friends. More than enough room. House pictures does not do it justice. Johnathon was available at all times answered any questions we had immediately. By far the favorite house we rent for vacation.
