Adorable 3 Bedroom, 2 bath Pristine Home on a Bike Trail! Bikes Included.
Sweet 3 Bedroom, 2 bath well appointed home sits on Cave Creek Wash Bike Trail, (bikes provided). This trail links to the Arizona Canal Trails, and there is Mt. biking nearby. The home sits on Cave Creek Park with children's playgrounds, a golf course, the bike trail, and other park amenities. It is also centrally located for Major League Baseball Spring Training. Many golf courses are nearby, and it is 15 mins to Arrowhead, or Scottsdale for posh dining. Sleeps 8 (6 private) and hall bathroom is set up locker room style, with numbered cubbies and towel hooks. Ideal for Bike Clubs, Baseball Lovers, or Church Groups. Also great for a couple, a single, or a family who have business, visiting, or vacation plans in the area.
The whole property is yours to enjoy. The owner will not bother you. A managing couple lives 10 minutes away to attend to your needs. Please read the Guest Manual, in the binder in the living room, that has been provided for you to discover the history of the property, and the interesting amenities available. The guest manual also has some rules and suggestions, and it provides a list of things to do in the area. It also provides some numbers and addresses that might be helpful, such as bike shops and emergency contacts. This property is not far from the new Mayo Clinic and other medical facilities, so you can plan your recuperation here. It is also ideal for "snow birds" who come for the winter to escape harsh weather at home. It would be centrally located for baseball fans to come and enjoy the various Major League Baseball Teams who practice in Phoenix's Cactus League. It would be great for anyone who wants to bicycle on trails without having to drive to them. Look out the back gate! The trail is right there and it connects to further trails. A map is provided. This property is also right next to a nice Lutheran Church that you can see right out the back yard, across the park. There are many other religious venues nearby and so it is great for religious retreats or church groups.
The master bedroom with bath, and with much empty space in the closet and drawers, is a visit to history in the style of an old western ranch house. Enjoy the king bed and TV amid clever antique decor. Decorated in soft shades of green, notice the quilted look of the matching bedspread and drapes. This green was taken from the green matting of the original owner's grandmother's photo on the wall. Her uncle, a WWII pilot, is also pictured on the wall. See the milk can lamp near the milk can artwork. And don't miss the original owner's painting of desert landscape that has been framed to match the old iron bedstead. Just turn the rod to close the blinds, no need to fuss with the curtains. Enjoy this unique room. Read the book labels on the custom built bookshelf. Notice the theme!
The second bedroom is like an old-time hotel room but with a queen bed and a TV. See the decor in the photo section. This lovely room also has much space for you to use in the closet and the drawers. Done in rusty shades of red with tan and gold accents, this room has a lovely wall mounted oval mirror framed in the burgundy themed old hotel motif. Lots of closet room and drawer room are available. A little vanity mirror perches on the old fashioned dresser cloth. See the "teacher's corner" and read the book labels on the custom shelf. An old "school marm" would delight in this room, and maybe the ghost of one lurks there.
Bedroom three has a kid's book corner (read the backs of the books on the custom shelf), two twin beds arranged couch style, and it doubles as another TV room with a big screen to enjoy. It is also an office with a desk set up with computer chargers and a printer for your business needs. The sunny decor of yellow and light blue brightens the mood as much as the sunflower painting on the wall. Again there is room in drawers and the closet for your use. Send the kids or the spouses to watch their favorite shows and movies in this "other tv room" where they can lounge on the couch-like bed. Hoist unused pillows up into the pillow hammock. A little vanity with a mirror is in the corner. Cozy and practical, and multi-use, this is a well planned room. Just turn the rod to close the blinds for coolness and privacy.
The living room (shown in photo section) is a tasteful combo of modern comfort and interesting antiques. Enjoy the huge Smart TV and lounge on the big couch. Charming "old ranch" decor abounds among contemporary furniture. Can you picture that fringed lamp in the hotel of an old western movie? Done in blues and tans, the room looks well put together. The artwork on the walls takes you to the old west. The footstool has blankets and pillows in it, and the couch has a great foam mattress hide-a-bed. There is a place in the hall closet for anyone sleeping in the living room to stow their stuff. DVDs of movies and TV shows are conveniently hidden in the end tables.
The Family Room has a Game Nook with games provided. Inside the little table are lots of games, and a box to stow the chess set if it is not your game of choice. See the custom shelf that matches the china cabinet. Read the backs of the books and videos and enjoy their use. See the fossil display. Admire the fine china in the hutch (for looks only, thank you) but you can enjoy using a nice dish set to the left of the kitchen sink. For every-day use there is another dish set to the right of the sink.
The large kitchen/dining area has all new appliances, a table for 8, and is fully stocked with cooking gear. What a collection of cookbooks! See the kitchen's charm in the photo display. And another TV! Look in the drawer under the stove for skillets. Find everything a cook needs in the spacious kitchen. Nice placemats for your table setting, matching dishes and silverware, are all there to set a nice table. One corner is even a dedicated "bar" with all the necessary glassware and cocktail set. The "bar" sports a kitchen radio and CD player, and there are plenty of CDs to play while you enjoy your evening "sit" on the porch.
An Arizona Room (porch) with a row of rockers, dining area, ceiling fan, and barn doors that slide open to the yard invites you to outdoor living. The view of North Mountain beckons. Bring your meal out under the ceiling fan, or have your cup of tea or glass of wine in the rockers after a long day. The "screen" is modern material that averts heat and lets you see out but not in! The barn doors roll open for a pleasant indoor/outdoor experience.
The Barbecue! Brand new, and shaded by a lovely pergola, it beckons you to bench seats and a great grilling experience. You can pass in and out through the barn doors while performing your barbecue magic. Night Lit.
Just step out the back gate to a lovely bike path that leads to extensive trails. Map provided in guest book or google Cave Creek Wash Bike Trail. See our bikes in the photos, or bring your own. The trail is part of an extensive park that includes children's playgrounds. All right out the back gate! (Disclaimer, you have to cross about ten steps of a trash pick up alley to get to the well maintained bike trail. You may see trash or trash containers).
Enjoy Fruit and Breakfast Bars, Tea and Coffee provided for you for the first few days of your stay.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad
Sitting on Cave Creek Park, with the bike trail handy, and the golf course close, makes this home unique, as does the use of the owner's bikes and helmets. The bike rack, bike paths in the yard, bike shed, and all the bike locks, backpacks, etc. are quite unique. And there is some room in the shed to lock your own bikes up, if you bring them. Also the view of North Mountain and the Arizona Room with sliding barn doors, the row of rocking chairs and the BBQ Pergola are unique features. The fantastic yard lighting system, encourages a rocking chair visit, with the porch lights off and the yard ablaze to gaze out upon.
The sweet mix of antique and modern and Old West in the house decor are very unique! These rooms do not look like cookie-cutter hotel rooms at the local Best Western. They have distinctive themed decor, tasteful, interesting, and not cluttered. The artwork is quite good, and interesting.
Big TVs and a TV in every room is unique, as is the large collection of DVDs. The kitchen radio and CD player is a nice touch, as is the Bar area. Nice and matching glassware, dish sets, and silverware are a plus. There is an every day set of dishes to the right of the sink, and a fancy set to the left, all for your use. The game nook is inviting, and the kitchen table is huge, in the roomy kitchen. Even the cupboard door knobs are unique! The cookbook collection is marvelous, and the custom shelves match the furniture in each room.
The large "locker-room" style hall bath, with numbered cubbies and towel hooks, is a clever and attractive way to keep a bathroom organized with a group.
Every detail has been thought out in this very homey VRBO. Don't miss the elegant lamp collection.
The location puts the visitor near Interstate 17 at W. Cactus Rd., making it easy to get around. Considering the vastness of Greater Phoenix, it might be considered about equidistant to the far corners, as well as to the Baseball venues, which are very spread out. It's a Find!
