2 km from the village of Lourmarin, charming single storey house on private grounds of 1600 m2. Quality environment. At the foot of the Luberon mountains.
Swimming pool of approximately 5 * 10 m with entry range.
Large shaded straw hut.

Idéalement situé au calme

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cette maison à l’occasion du mariage de notre fils. Nous étions 7 adultes les 5 chambres et 3 salles de bain étaient parfaitement adaptées pour l’occasion. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Le grand séjour cuisine est équipé de tout ce dont on a besoin et même plus. Le mobilier est rustique mais fonctionnel et permet d’être plus décontracté. Enfin la belle piscine dont on a profité au maximum. En résumé rien à redire tout était parfait de l’accueil de Maryline et sa disponibilité ainsi que celle de son mari.

Peaceful large home with pool a walk to charming village

This is a beautiful, well maintained and modernized 5- bedroom home in a perfect location. You have the property all to yourselves, a gated driveway, a large pool, a wrap around porch, and the house is surrounded by vineyards. The views of the hills of the Luberon surround you. Inside the house is clean and has a large great room with a big kitchen and huge farm table. The kitchen has an excellent range and all the culinary tools you need. The bedrooms are comfortable with armoires to store clothing and the three/four bathrooms are great. There is a washing machine inside and a drying rack outside under the cedars! The laundry dried in an hour and smelled great. There is strong WiFi and a TV. As mentioned in other reviews there is a small black cat who comes around purring for pets. The walk to Lourmarin (listed as one of the five prettiest villages in southern France) is a quiet rural 20 minute walk. The walk to Puyvert is a few minutes. There is a nice cafe/ pizzeria in Puyvert with very friendly owners. Lourmarin has many restaurants and a large outdoor market on Friday mornings, and an incredible local market on Tuesday evenings. For regular shopping the Super U has everything from organic foods to espadrilles to washing machines! It is a 5 minute drive. The owner is a sweet woman, Maryline, who put up with my choppy French. Enjoy this amazing place. I wish we could go back every year!

The rental experience was wonderful . The house is beautiful and located in an extremely tranquil and serene locale . Short 15-20 minute walk to the Château and lourmarin . Pool was nice and the children enjoyed the little black cat that would visit us . Highly recommend

Lovely villa- rural quiet location with beautiful views and perfect for two families with children

Well equipped, close to many amenities, including picturesque walks to village of Lourmarin. Kids loved the pool and friendly black cat that came to visit every day.

excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. A notre arrivée, nous étions enchantés en decouvrant la maison qui est beaucoup plus grande en réalité que sur les photos. La cuisine et le salon sont spacieux et très agréables. Tout etait très propre, les lits faits et les serviettes à disposition. Les enfants et les adultes se sont régalés à la piscine. La plage d entrée , c est super. Enfin la region et les marchés sont sympas. Nous conseillons vivement cette location.

Wonderful house near Lourmarin village

We just spent a week in this house on the border between Lourmarin and Puyvert, surrounded by vineyards. The house itself is simple but large enough to accommodate a fairly big group comfortably, and provide privacy for everyone. We were two couples, and so had two of the five bedrooms, separated by a long hallway and two doors. The living space is big and comfortable, and the kitchen has a wonderful wooden table. Even so, we spent much of our time outdoors, on the patios or at the pool. There is a lovely cat who visits and is very friendly, and the owners (Maryline and Didier) are friendly and helpful. The walk into Lourmarin village can go in two directions - one takes about 20 minutes and the other takes about 30 - and is part of what makes the location so nice. (Of course, you can drive if you wish, but the walk is just so beautiful that anyone who can walk should.) You can park your car on the property, so you can go anywhere you like in the area. But enjoying Lourmarin and walking everywhere is just as nice as sightseeing, and certainly more relaxing. We've come to Lourmarin many times over the years, sometimes staying in the village, and sometimes staying in Puyvert. I think this is the best of all worlds. I would come back again and again.

De vraies vacances !

Nous avons passé 15 jours à 4 adultes et 3 enfants dans la maison : le séjour a été particulièrement agréable. La maison est grande, très bien équipée et bien entretenue. La piscine est super - surtout avec la plage d'entrée qui a été particulièrement appréciée par les enfants (et profondeur maximale de 1,40m) -> parfait pour toute la famille. L'environnement de la maison est très calme : elle est située dans des champs. Nous avons profité avec plaisir de n'entendre que les cigales pendant tous le séjour. La propriétaire était très agréable et nous a bien conseillés. Nous n'avons aucun point négatif à soulever. C'était de vraies vacances!

La région est magnifique. La maison est spacieuse, très bien entretenue et bien équipée. On peut marcher ou faire du vélo du portail, dans des décors agréables. Je recommande cette location à tout le monde car elle est proche de tout en étant au calme. On s'y sent bien!
