Discover your own island paradise in this sun-filled Pottery Barn-style island apartment on the top of St Thomas.

Sip mimosas on a balcony overlooking stunning 180° views of the Caribbean Sea over hills and palm trees, or enjoy the view through the floor-to ceiling windows across the entire apartment front. Designed for leaving open throughout the day, Clifftop’s (screened) glass front wall brings in the balmy breezes the island gets at this height 10 months of the year (our famous trade winds)!

This is an opportunity to enjoy island flavor in a gracious setting. It is comfortable for 2-4 guests, with 2 Queen bedrooms and a ‘Jack & Jill’ bathroom (ie, doors opening from each bedroom ;-). It is also pet-friendly for a nice, quiet pet (with approval and pet deposit).

Clifftop also includes free Wi-Fi, SmartTV, 24hr check-in, and free driveway parking. Cool-to-the feet Mexican tile leads you to a fully stocked kitchen and breakfast bar with rustic bar seats. Your dining table seats 4, overlooking the ocean below. Bedroom 1 has a partial ocean view and lovely breezes through a front window. Bedroom 2 is perfect for those who like to sleep in full dark!

The shared bathroom is small but charming, with Mexican tile and a candlelit travertine marble shower.

You’ll drive 5 minutes to any one of 3 beaches, or venture farther to the 28 other beaches that surround St Thomas! While it’s just .75 miles above the main road, Clifftop is in a quiet, remote-feeling area; our neighbors enjoy their peace and quiet, so is not suited for parties, loud music, or late-night returns from clubs followed by singing or dropping wine bottles off the balcony ;-) ! There is a shared outdoor laundry alcove (washer, dryer, industrial sink, detergent), outside the main house but available to both units. You will walk past windows, so Please be thoughtful and use after 10AM and before dark!

Getting Around: A car is required, as the house is high above the bustle of the main road and St Thomas's "safari bus route" (there is driveway parking). There are many rentals on island, but do confirm in advance, as car rentals sometimes suffer from our Caribbean island tempo! If you don’t want to drive, I can help you arrange a car and driver, but it must also be arranged in advance!

Barb was a great host & provided great communication prior to our trip. View from deck was absolutely beautiful & Barb gave directions that helped us arrive perfectly. House is within 20-25 minutes of all of the things to do do & see on St Thomas. Would definitely recommend this location.

Have stayed at Clifftop Apt several times because everything has always been consistent! The host, Barb, is nice, attentive, responsive and helpful!!! The space is always clean, orderly and stocked with lots of extras!!! And the VIEW, peace & quiet are to die for...missing it already!!! Hope to see you again soon Barb!!!

Great location-a little difficult to find, but the host provided excellent directions. Very peaceful and the house was well stocked with everything you could need. Incredible views, too!

The view was amazing. Every morning we watch the ships come in. The decor was so nice. Barb was great very thorough with instructions.

Lovely home away from home

The cozy Clifftop Villa was the perfect spot for us to call home during our five week stay on St. Thomas. Barb was amazing. Very welcoming, helpful & responsive. Thank you Barb! We had an amazing time! Challenging road up and no AC were outweighed by awesome views, cool breezes, proximity to beaches & comfortable, charming Villa!! We hope to return sometime soon!

Winter vacation

This was a great space to stay. It was really nice to have views of the sunset and the beach. This place has all the amenities you could need. Cooler, snorkels, flippers, laundry machines, balcony, books, and plenty of space. You do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there as it is on the side of a mountain, but the views are worth it.

Amazing!

The property offered beautiful sweeping views of the ocean, and a cozy relaxed interior that stays cool during the night. Barb was the best, quick to communicate, and so accommodating. We had everything we needed for a great week—Barb even referred us to an excellent driver with a lot of local knowledge. Would absolutely stay again :)

Couldn’t ask for more!

We rented the property for an entire month. I can’t say enough about the owner. I’ve stayed in VRBO properties before, but I’ve never encountered an owner so responsive and helpful. The property was beautiful and we have an amazing time. Again, Barbara was the best owner we’ve ever worked with.

Cozy Condo with Fabulous Views

Breathtaking views surround on this cozy property high up in Frenchman's Bay. Plenty of space for a family of 4 with a well appointed kitchen offering all the amentities of home. Less than 15 minutes to Red Hook and Havensight puts this location close to everything you need for an excellent stay on St. Thomas. Our host, Barb, was very helpful in ensuring we got checked in and had everything we needed for a great stay! Would definitely book again.

What a view!

The view off the balcony was so beautiful that I ate in more than usual just to sit up there and watch the sunset. Priceless! The villa was very clean also with plenty of room and a nice kitchen. It was bright and sunny always up there at the top of the hill! Loved my stay. Great host.

What a view!

Rented from Barb for a month since my husband and I were working remotely. The condo felt so spacious and bright with all the windows. The sunset from the front deck was amazing. Unit is very clean, full kitchen and really comfortable beds. Barb is a great host. Can’t wait to go back!

It was great that there are multiple windows which made the place airy and cool. And even better was the view!!! Absolutely amazing!! I wish I had brought my canvas and paint to capture the views. Also, it was quite the adventure to locate the residence but a worthwhile one. However, Barb was quite a help with that. If you can, wake up just before dawn breaks to greet a spectacular view.

Clean, well maintained, tricky to find. Suggest lowering the balcony railing so it doesn’t obscure the lovely view. Had to push back on effort by owner to show the place to prospective buyers during our rental period. Was successful and encountered no other problems with owner.

Authentic St. Thomas Experience – A Hidden Gem!

This place was amazing! Barb was such a great host, super helpful and communicative before, during, and even after our trip. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.If you’re looking for a super fancy resort, this isn’t that. But if you want the real St. Thomas feel this is the spot. The place had such a fun, island vibe with cute decor that made it feel like we were living the island life for real.The view? Absolutely incredible. Waking up to that every day was a dream.There’s no A/C, but the breeze was nice and kept it pretty comfortable. It’s a little tricky to find, but there are signs to help guide you. There’s also a great local restaurant and bar nearby with really good food.Definitely recommend renting a car or using the driver Barb can connect you with, it makes things a lot easier.Would we stay here again? 1000% yes. We’re already planning on coming back. Thanks again, Barb!

A Slice of Paradise on St Thomas

The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking, the pictures are exactly as it looks in real life. We stayed on the lower level and it is as quiet as can be-- the house is very soundproof. Furnishings are tastefully done and beds and couches are a dream. It really is a little oasis high on the hill and instantly makes you fall in love with all that is USVI. Barb is super helpful, friendly, and funny and I'm glad I was able to meet her upon arrival. This is a great spot for a longer-term stay too as it's very spacious and comfortable for a remote work situation. Internet works great and everything, including the kitchen, is modern and fresh. I feel very fortunate to have found this little gem, it's everything and more.

Beautiful place

This was a beautiful place and Barb was a wonderful host. Everything was just as stated, all besides it not having A/C. I was aware of it not having A/C only from reading the reviews. It was a little rough getting used to it at first, but it finally cooled off enough to not worry about it too much. We stayed for 2 weeks, so there were days that we decided to stay in. On those days, we were unable to watch TV because there weren’t any blinds to block the light coming through the windows, which glared too much on the TV. I was, however, unaware that we would end up having to share the very small driveway with Barb’s vehicle for a portion of our stay. Which only inconvenienced us by having to walk a little further to the property.

Great Virgin Islands Vacation

Great spot for a rental with amazing views of the ocean. As other reviews mention, it's ideal to have a rental car to access this unit. However, we had a full-size pick-up truck rental, and it was a bit of a chore to navigate the narrow driveways that lead to the unit. The bathroom was tiny, the shower especially. The balcony was great, but it would be nice if there was a 2nd outdoor chair. Miscellaneous supplies including snorkels and beach gear were a really nice touch. Barbara was very communicative, thorough with directions, and accessible. Overall, an affordable, comfortable stay that's centrally located; if you don't mind a little adventure getting to your place everynight.

Out of the way place.

Great place if you like peace and quiet. Make sure y make taxi or car service from the owner first before arriving. Its really a pain in the ass to find if someone going ther the first time.so get a good taxi guy who knows the way if the host barb is around she will drop y wherever y going on the way y on your own.other than that fully stacked kitch lots of tolet paper and paper towels.if y love to cook everything is clean .its really agreat lovers hideway nobody willbother y there.bring spending money for food and transportation or ycredit card stores are down the bottom of cliff.great place i wold visit again in the fall when its not so hot. No ac celining fans and floor fans keep y cool plus its brezyy upthere compare todown below .

Clifftop Villa ‘birthday buddies’ trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Barb was quick to communicate with us as needed and as quick as possible to respond to issues that cropped up. It was a bit of a crazy drive but well worth the view and being tucked away. We would stay again even though my husband and friend didn’t enjoy sharing a bathroom.🤪 We appreciated the beach towels and cooler to use each day. Other than making coffee each morning, we didn’t cook at all during the trip. The kitchen was well equipped, but we just used the fridge and microwave. It was just what we needed for our week on the island. It was a great location to get to both of our favorite areas of Redhook and Charlotte Amalie. The only thing we would have improved would have been the seating on the porch but other than that, we were very pleased with our visit. Thanks for a wonderful peaceful week, Barb!
