Austin Landing is an upbeat cottage in the woods - perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. Ready for rest, relaxation, quiet and reconnecting with nature? This is the answer. With two fully remodeled bathrooms, hot tub and updates throughout the home, you'll love watching the birds in the trees and the starry skies.
Know Before You Book:
Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours:
The maximum occupancy is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at all times. This is a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please drive slowly and help us maintain good neighbor relations.
Parking:
There is parking for 2 cars parked in the driveway and 1 car on the street. Street parking is scarce and the garage is not available for parking. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
Pet Friendly: This home welcomes up to 2 well-mannered dogs. If you have more than 2 dogs or other types of pets, please contact us to see if exceptions can be made before reserving.
Bed Sizes:
First bedroom: King bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Third bedroom: Queen bed; Living room: Queen sofa bed.
Heat Source:
The home has central heating. Use the thermostat in the LOCATION to adjust the temperature. Please be sure the MODE is set to HEAT, the FAN is set to AUTO, and use the – and + buttons to set your desired temperature. There is a wood-burning fireplace insert. Firewood and kindling is not provided.
A/C: The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house.
Baby Items: Austin Landing is a great place for young'ens! The home offers a pack-n-play, a portable bassinet, a high chair and toddler utensils.
Road to Austin Landing: The last section of road to the house is a two-way, one-lane curvy hillside road - mostly paved with some gravel. No special vehicle is required and we provide detailed written driving directions to confirmed guests.
Stairs:
There are just a couple steps to the front door and a few from the back porch into the backyard. There are stepping stones and gravel throughout the property. The interior of the house is all one level.
Fencing:
The backyard is fully fenced with welded wire material. Please check the perimeter before letting your dog off-leash! It may not be dog-proof.

We are Russian River Vacation Homes, a part of D&G Equity Management, Inc., a family owned and locally owned/operated property management company.
Our Story:
In 1980, D&G founders and owners Michael and Patty saw a need in the area for habitable, affordable housing. At that time, many of the little cabins along the Russian River, originally built as summer cabins, were unsuitable for year-round occupancy. D&G assisted property owners with fixing up and renting their cabins. As the largest property management company in western Sonoma County, D&G Equity Management continues to be a staple in the Russian River community.
Russian River Vacation Homes is an off-shoot of D&G. One fine day in 1985, Michael's client, Bob, asked "Hey Mike, can you rent my cabin out just for the week or weekend instead of by the month?" Michael said "Sure!" and Russian River Vacation Homes was born. As renting vacation rentals became more popular, Russian River Vacation Homes grew into a full-time business with its own office. Today, Russian River Vacation Homes professionally manages over 60 high-quality vacation rentals.

Austin Landing is located in the historic peaceful village of Cazadero amongst the redwood trees. Cazadero is 12 miles to the Sonoma coast, 12 miles to Guerneville, 9 miles to Monte Rio, 7 miles to Duncan’s Mills and a short drive to Russian River Valley wineries. Cazadero has an old fashioned country store and a coffee shop. Duncan's Mills, Guerneville, and Monte Rio have a number of great restaurants. Duncan's Mills has a number of boutique shops. Monte Rio has a public beach with boat rentals (June-September), a movie theater and a small store.
