The place was super charming and the deck with redwoods was magnificent. The location was secluded and private yet close to everything. The perfect spot to enjoy wine country.

This property is nestled between huge redwood trees from all four sides. The property was very clean and very thoughtfully equipped. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The host was just a text away.

The host was readily available for any questions. The home and large deck areas were very clean. This kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in any VRBO that I have rented.The outside deck is very spacious and has 7 redwoods growing through the decks! This created a private, serene, and zen Muir Woods experience. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of linens were provided. The neighborhood was very quiet and the Halloween decor nearby were great! Huge ghosts lit up the nearby hills. My little chi dog loved exploring the yard area and his walks around the community! I strongly recommend this forest retreat and I snd Rufus will be back!

The deck with giant redwoods, hammocks and large hot tub was amazing. It did take a bit to figure out the temperature setting. Lots of fun in the river of course.AC would have been welcomed although the fans were very powerful.

We were looking for a place where we could feel completely removed from the city hectic and find quiet and solitude in a forest environment. This place absolutely fit the bill! It's incredibly peaceful, and being able to swing in the hammock or swinging chair while gazing up to the tops of the surrounding redwoods, some growing through the deck, was like a dream. Evening hot tub soaks in the trees were also a wonderful way to relax before bed. The cabin is more spacious than we anticipated and is super well stocked with everything from myriad books, games, extra blankets and towels to just about anything you might need in the kitchen, including plenty of glasses and dinnerware, pots and pans, spices and even bartending tools. The host is also very responsive. We could not have been happier and will definitely be back again!

Needed an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and that is exactly what we found; nestled into the red woods of northern California, we were able to recharge at this wonderful home. It was everything that we hoped for and more.

Came up to get away from reality for a few days with our fur baby. I think he enjoyed the house just as much as my family and I did. The porch was shaded enough during the warm weather but if you wanted some sun you can definitely tan in other places. Spacious enough that everyone could have their own little corner of the house. Not that far from town and with instructions from the owner it was easy to find. Definitely a place I would go back to for another family trip.

What a great place to stay! A very well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and common areas, an amazing deck and outdoor space, and all around adorable cabin. The owner was extremely kind, friendly, attentive, and thoughtful - offering recommendations and answering questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town!
