Welcome to Turniptown Retreat! We are so proud to be able to share our beautiful SECLUDED CREEKFRONT retreat with you and your family. This upscale 3 bedroom, 2 and ½ bath cabin has all the modern conveniences of today and is located on over 2 acres.

The property sits nestled up against Rich Mountain Wilderness which is part of 13,276 acres that makes up Rich Mountains. The Wilderness is managed by the United States Forest Service and is part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. Hiking trails are available right from the house. Along the entire property, runs the beautiful flowing Turniptown Creek. The creek provides fishing and relaxing in and around the water.
The property also boasts a Natural Spring fed pond. The spring is fed from the water running off of Rich Mountain. The natural springs creates a waterfall into the trout filled pond. Trout fishing is allowed, catch and release only.

AMENITIES

Turniptown Retreat is a beautifully decorated, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log home that sleeps up to eight (8) people and offers the following:
• King Master on MAIN level with a private bath, walk-in shower, jetted tub, double vanities accompanied by a walk-in closet. The master bedroom also has access to the screened in porch. Master includes a 43” Smart TV
• Queen guest room located on the second story. Guest Room includes its own private sitting balcony overlooking the pond and creek. Includes a 39” Smart TV
• 3rd bedroom consists of 2 sets of log cabin bunk beds. Lower bunks feature Full Sized mattresses. Top bunks offer Twin sized mattresses. This room can sleep from 4-6 people. The room also offers a 39” Smart TV. Also located in this room, is a sitting arcade game that allows players to play up to 50+, two player games! A foosball table is included for hours of fun.
• 2nd full bath is located on the 2nd level. Shower and jetted tub included.
The main level of the house includes a spacious, comfortable living area with a 2-story stacked stone gas remote controlled fireplace. The Smart TV is 55 inches. Satellite cable provided on all televisions throughout the house. The SMART TVs offer access to NetFlix, Hulu and or any on line streaming service available with your personal login. DVD player and speakers included.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. It includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove and coffee maker.
The property includes a screened in porch with outdoor dining seating for four (4). A spyder ball table is also located here for hours of family fun. The partially covered front porch includes a rocking chair to rock away to as you listen to Turniptown Creek rushing past. A propane grill is provided for outdoor grilling.

Creekside, you will find the well-manicured fire pit area with seating for eight (8). String lights illuminate the creek as you sit fireside watching the creek go by! Some firewood provided.
Turniptown Retreat also includes board games, puzzles (card table available) and a rotating small library. A gaming system, Wii U and various Wii U games are also included in addition to the sit-down gaming console found in the bunk room. You will also find a foosball table in the bunk room.

With the recent addition of a whole home generator, there’s no concern or worry about losing power.
