Our third time staying here- what a sweet place! We so appreciate the privacy and seclusion to enjoy the creek, fishing pond, and the mountainside. The cabin is so pretty, clean, and comfortable! Love unplugging here and letting the kids play “wilderness explorers.” Adore this magical corner in Ellijay!

Turniptown retreat was all of that and more! The cabin was bright and spacious. The property grounds were everything a couple of kids from Florida were hoping for! I highly recommend this location to any family looking for a quiet and secluded location. Sitting a good 15 minutes away from town, it's in the perfect spot.

The property was beautiful and the home had everything we needed and more. The book with instructions and suggestions was extremely helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans etc. Our boys loved fishing and playing on the creek and we enjoyed seeing the cows on the property next door in the morning. Secluded but also so easy to get to orchards, pumpkin patches and several hikes! The hosts were quick to respond when we had questions. We will be back!

This is a lovely cabin with everything that you need for a relaxing stay in the mountains! All the details have been thought of and the home is spacious and well appointed!

Wonderful mountain trip

Fireplace was perfect on the cool mornings and evenings. We love the fire pit near the babbling brook. Kitchen has great amenities. Comfortable beds.

Very nice cabin

We had a wonderful time in the Ellijay area. The cabin is very spacious, clean, and it is in a perfect location. It is nice and secluded, but close enough to town and other places of interest to make it an easy drive. Can’t wait to stay again.

2nd stay at a wonderful place

It was our second time staying here and it was just as good as our first stay. Great location. Wonderful property with a beautiful lake and creek. Host responds quickly and is very nice.

Beautiful Property

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful cabin. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, playing in the creek, sitting out on the porch, and relaxing at the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

Loved ever minute of this weekend getaway. The host was responsive, the cabin was incredible, we hope to return for a future visit. This is our new favorite place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, we found it just as described and very clean and hardly even a bug to be found the whole time we were there. The cabin is quiet, cozy, & comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get to both Blue Ridge and downtown Ellijay from it due to how the roads are set up there. The cabin is very nicely equipped for a families and the yard is spectacular for kids who love outdoors.

Our fifth stay! And we’re already thinking about the next one. Clean and well stocked. The outside area—flat yard, fishing pond, fire pit, and creek—are wonderful. My kids love going on adventures up and down the creek. It’s been amazing to watch them as they get older and venture out further. We really love this cabin!

a true mountain paradise

my family absolutely loved this cabin & property! the large yard, the pond for fishing, the creek for playing in, the cabin and all the little things you thought to have stocked in there. It was our most favorite stay to date!

The Most Peaceful Stay Ever

We loved every minute of our stay here in walnut Mountain !! Babbling water sounds , peaceful views , cozy fire pit, comfortable living spaces, porches to sit and enjoy, and lots of amenities!! We loved it & Beth was amazing to deal with and so thoughtful. Definitely 💯 the best place to stay!

Amazing location and a great home

This was our 4th time staying at this property and we have never had a bad time. The house is lovely and the creek and yard are amazing for kids for playing and having fun. We love the location as its close to so many great attractions in the area and would recommend the place to anyone who asks!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay - from the location to our own private babbling brook with fire pit. Kitchen was spot on, and we loved the entire layout of the house. Already talking about returning - Thank you so much!

Very Clean and Full of Amenities

As advertised and more. We rent in Ellijay often and this home was well decorated, clean and offered pretty much everything you need to enjoy your vacation.

Absolutely beautiful property! We loved the creek and pond! The home is ver beautiful as well. We enjoyed it very much. It’s now in our top ten of places to return to. The host was amazing with all details and reply’s. Loved it.
