Adorable Classic 2 BR Cottage~ Cooper Cottage

One of Folly's Best! Cooper Cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath, classic Folly Beach cottage. You are sure to enjoy the recently updated look! Relax on the screened-in front porch and pick fresh fruit off the orange tree or enjoy the back porch with a view of the beautiful greenery and cute path that leads to the shared laundry room and private outdoor shower. The first bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. Amenities include cable tv, free Wi-Fi, an efficiency kitchen, shared propane grill, and access to beach chairs/carts. And it's dog friendly! Located in a quiet residential area, Cooper Cottage is a leisurely two minute stroll to the beach and only six short blocks to Center Street. This property can be rented alone or with its sister properties: Sea Glass Cottage and 615 East Erie. These three properties combined make up Family Houses.

Cooper Cottage allows up to 2 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dog when you inquire. Grill available for guest use. Please note: charcoal/propane and cleaning of grill is the responsibility of the guest.

Cute cottage

We enjoyed staying at this rustic tiny cottage. It was well maintained and the grounds and amenities were nice. We loved the screen porch and could hear the waves with the windows open. Also there was laundry and an ice machine on the beautiful grounds. Really nice. Would stay here again.

Great Rental

Cooper Cottage is a very nice place to stay in Folly Beach. Great location close to the beach on a quiet street and still close to the commercial area. Kids and dog park close by too.

Just Loved the Property

Seamless, clean, cute, modest, fun, parking, ez walk to the beach and close enough (15-20 min) walk to downtown. This is a hidden gem In my opinion!

Great location. Easy walk to the beach. Comfortable beds. Clean house. Relaxing.

Cute, quaint cottage close to the beach. Great for a small single family. The shared beach carts, chairs and coolers make it very easy to enjoy the beach. The owners make sure you have everything you need. I would stay here again.

What a great little place!

Cooper Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's so well situated between the beach and sound and within walking distance to everything. It was nice and quiet and we felt safe walking at night. What a gem!

Nice stay at Folly Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Cooper Cottage! The property is charming, clean and comfortable. Our college-age daughters spent part of the week with us and our dog was with us. We had a great time— very relaxing and the beach is beautiful! Easy access to Charleston too. Hope to return to Folly soon.

The perfect cottage!

This cottage was better in real life than the photos. There were more than enough household supplies, super cozy — exactly what you want when you think of a beach cottage. From the decor to the beautiful landscaping and ease of walking to the beach, we hope to make our stay here and our visit to Folly Beach an annual Labor Day trip.

Cooper Cottage

This was our first (true) vacation and my first ever Vrbo experience. I was so pleased with the cottage. I wanted something simple but it was lovely. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch. The booking was easy and if I ever return to SC I will want to book this cottage again.

The property was very clean and had nice features. I loved the screened in porch, but the cottage was smaller than I anticipated and further from the beach than I really wanted. Overall, I enjoyed the visit.

Great location, loved the screened in front porch.

The only negative would be the size of the bed in the main bedroom. If you could somehow fit atleast a queen size it would make the stay much more comfortable.

Lovely beach cottage with a great porch

The house was very nice, clean and conveniently stocked for our trip. The property is a short walk from the beach but there is public access right there. The screened in porch was very relaxing to sit on and people watch. Folly beach is wonderful and a very relaxed atmosphere. The house and the owners had everything to make you truly feel like you were at home and make vacation enjoyable not stressful.

Home away from home

If you are planning a trip to Folly, I highly recommend picket fence. It's a short walk to the beach, located in a great laid back setting. Had a wonderful experience and can not wait till we get to do it again. We are used to staying in hotels, and after a couple of days we are usually ready to go home and sleep in our own bed, but with Picket Fence it was a home away from home.

Fabulous Folly Retreat

Picket Fence Cottage has it all! Welcoming screened front porch, adorable decor, and every single thing you need to make your stay comfortable and delightful. We stayed at the cottage while in town for a wedding, and can't wait to come back and enjoy even more time at this perfect, peaceful haven. The owners have thought of everything!! We can't wait to return!!

Quaint Beach Cottage!

If you are looking for a small, cute beach cottage with some character, this is it! All the comforts and well provisioned. Note, no oven, but that’s ok as we ate out most nights in the great Folly/Charleston places. 3 streets back from beach but easy walk to anywhere. We did rent a golf cart and that was fun. Note also that the dog fee is $25 per day which is fair but sorta misleading in the VRBO info. Overall, I’d rent again and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Cottage close to beach

This is a beautiful cottage that is close to the beach. Beds and linens are nice, kitchen is well equipped and the location is close to the beach. I was surprised to see the pets are not to use the yard but must be walked down the street. I understand because it is close quarters with the neighbors. It just seemed odd to walk the dog to other areas that may be someone else's property. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would stay again.

Cozy cottage in great location

We really enjoyed staying at picket fence. The house has a real authentic cottage vibe that makes you feel like you're on vacation. The proximity to the beach and playground was key. We rode our bikes when we wanted to get to the restaurants and pier. There are lots of great restaurants to eat at. The cottage was comfy, and had everything you needed, but I would suggest a DVD player for nighttime movie watching. We drove into Charleston one day for the afternoon, and it was only about a 20 minute drive. We took a carriage ride tour and had an early dinner there. I would highly recommend picket fence to small families! If it wasn't for construction going on next door, I would have given it 5 stars. It was a bit too noisy to sit outside for lunch or dinner at home.
