Romantic, Clean,Comfortable, and Private

Folly Day is one of Folly's Best Rentals. This modern home is located at one of the narrowest points in the island. As you can see from our map, it is s short walk to the beach. Each bedroom has a balcony overlooking the marsh and river.

This house provides the quiet relaxation of the island's river side with easy access to the beach. Enjoy a quiet dinner on the screened back porch or sun bath on one of the second floor private open decks.

The designers of this house did an excellent job setting up the elegant house with clean lines and modern fixtures.

Well behaved house-broken, flea treated dogs are welcome with approval, but there is no fenced yard, so they would need to be walked on a leash. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed on the beach between the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm from May 1st to September 30th.

This was a great location—a short walk to the beach and a short drive into town. We loved the view of the marsh out back and enjoyed sitting on the porch. I would recommend to the owner to clear out some of the clutter in drawers or consolidate it. But, otherwise, it was a great space for our family. There were plenty of supplies provided, like toilet paper, soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen bags, etc. I would definitely consider staying here again!

This was the perfect beach house for my husband and me, our two teenage girls, and our dog. The beach is only a two minute walk and is in a section that does not get very crowded. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our meals at home. Car was able to be parked in a nice shaded driveway. The view out back was so enjoyable. We saw armadillos, deer, and many types of birds. We would definitely rent it again.

We really enjoyed back deck overlooking the salt marsh in the evening and the quick block and a half access to the beach. I had forgotten that SC beach homes have lots of stairs and this house had another set from living to sleeping and laundry area. Front steps and porch could have been cleaner as well as other outdoor areas including the screened in porch. Very private in the property.

This was the first time ever using any type of app for booking a vacation and it could not have went any smoother or better. Sarita was wonderful to communicate with. She responded very quickly and if I had any questions all were answered. I felt the location of the property was perfect. It's about a mile and a half walk to the main drag which for us was not a big deal. The area was really nice and quiet and you can hear the ocean when you open your front door. It is not even a 5-minute walk to the beach. The house was filled with anything we needed. Everything functioned properly. The beds were comfortable. Amazing views off the balconies for sunrise and sunsets. We saw big beetles and little black crabs outside but we did not find any bugs at all in the house. The house was clean. I would say there are updates it could use. Some of the furniture, vents, screens, lampshades, etc are showing their age. All that is very minor details considering all the positives and the great price to stay here. Folly Beach is a great area. I know we will be back and will book here again on our next visit.

Was very disappointed as a "hot tub" is first amenity listed. There is a 20 yr old jacuzzi bathtub in one of the bathrooms, NO HOT TUB. Management did refund 200, but said that issue had never come up before?? Whole property in serious need of an update, and DEEP CLEAN. We could not walk barefoot on the carpet, as feet would be black quickly. Beds comfy, and location fantastic.

We have been renting Folly Beach homes for over 10yrs and drive in from Asheville NC. Loved the location with driveway parking and gorgeous views of Folly River from the back deck. Very close, maybe 200 steps from front door to the boardwalk for the beach. Nice to have a hose to wash off feet. Nice to have fans in rooms and air conditioning. Only issue was two of the beds were covered in dog hair even on pillows and under the quits and we had to strip the beds and wash two loads to get them clean before bedtime. But, we did value having the washer and dryer to also clean towels and suits from the beach each day. Very good communication with opportunity to check in early our first day. It was good that I put my phone on airplane mode or I would have been woken up by owner texting me in the morning to put the trash cans at the curb. Also had to buy toilet paper as there were only two rolls between 3 bathrooms. The TV was a smart high definition kind so not great quality for watching movies IMO, and we brought our Roku from home. This 3 night stay included 2 adults and three of our kids ages 20, 13 and 6. We made it very easy for the cleaning crew by stripping beds and starting a towel load, running dishwasher and taking out all trash and recycling, as owner requested by text the morning of our departure. Overall a wonderful clean comfortable convenient vacation stay for our family this summer.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house is in a perfect location. The beach is a very short walk away. We particularly loved the screened in porch! We can’t wait to stay again when we go back to Folly!

Amazing stay again!

This was our second time staying here. The house is so comfortable and truly has everything you need. The walk to the beach is very short and is never super crowded. The house is also great for a toddler!

This was our second time renting this house. The floor plan is ideal. Lots of balcony space to enjoy the view of the marsh and its fauna. I usually cook every night and appreciate the open floor plan of the living room, dining space, and kitchen.

Great Folly Beach location

Our family loved the marsh views and quick access to the beach. Easy to walk dogs on the street. Several visits from a mother deer and her two babies was exciting.

Perfect spot for our family

Stayed here for a week with our three children. Very quiet location with quick, walkable access to the beach. Spent many evenings relaxing on the back deck overlooking the marsh. If you are looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and access to fun, this is the place to stay!

Spacious house just a short walk to the beach

My group of 4 stayed here for a week and we very much enjoyed it! It was a short walk to the beach, had spacious bedrooms, good porch area, and a complete kitchen. The property is a bit older with some older fixtures and could be more deeply cleaned, but it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay!

Had a great visit! House was as pictured. Easy walk to the beach. Enjoyed the views off the back deck. Check in/out process was smooth and Sarita was a great host! Would stay there again.
