2 BED/2BATH, 4 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH AND CENTER STREET! One of Folly's favorite stays, 'Folly's Best Kept Secret' is a completely renovated beach house with all the comforts of home. Centrally located, the home is just a short walk to the beach and the fishing pier, which also happens to be one of the best surf breaks on the island! Center Street with all it's restaurants and shopping is just one block away. Relax and enjoy the casual lifestyle that Folly is famous for, without ever moving your car! Dine at one of the great restaurants, then take a walk on the beach.. Finish the evening with cocktails and conversation on the home's large screened porch. A true four-season home that's cozy and warm, it's also perfect for winter getaways!

You'll really enjoy the new-house comfort this home provides while maintaining it's casual 'Folly-style' attitude. Renovated in a contemporary lay-out, the living room is open to the large kitchen, dining area and the screened porch making it perfect for entertaining both indoors and out. There are two large bedrooms (both are queen beds) and two large baths. There's even a hot and cold outdoor shower. Perfect for two couples or a family of four. You'll find 2 cable TVs, Free Wi-Fi, DVD, and blue-tooth sound, all to make your stay complete. Parking is a breeze with 3 off-street parking spaces including one covered space. This house is clean and very comfortable!!

Historic downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away and offers some of the finest shopping in the southeast but make sure to leave time to take in some of the beautiful historic landmarks that made our city famous.

Great property very close to town and the beach. We love Chico Feo which is just up the road. Host was responsive and easy to work with. Property is very nice, clean, well kept.

The description on vbro regarding this property did not due it justice. The home is in a great location, perfectly located within walking distance to both the beach and town. The home was very clean with beds nice and comfortable!The host provided quality beach chairs and buggy so no need to bring your own!Would definitely would book again!

Such an incredible experience staying here. It is a wonderful location and a perfect spot for a peaceful beach getaway. The house was clean and location was easy to navigate. Ernie was a wonderful host. He was responsive and gave wonderful suggestions on how best to experience Folly Beach. We hope to visit again soon!

We had a little difficulty finding the house late, late at night in the dark but we found it! It's on the corner of E Erie Ave & 2nd E St. The house was great & just like the pictures. We loved the screened in porch & spent our time in there. Perfect walking distance from every place. The beach is beautiful!

The house is wonderful, super close to beach, shops and restaurants. Supplied with beach items for adults and kids. We enjoyed the boogie boards and beach cart. Also, it was cleaned spotless and the kitchen is great for all your needs. I would definitely rent again. Only down side is it's not the quietest spot. Great house and great host though!

We can’t remember if this is our 7th or 8th visit here but it’s a staple and the best place on Folky- IOO -we always have a great stay. Close to center street and all the fun- a few blocks to the beach. Ernie is the very best host!!

Wonderful host - house described accurately. Location is spot on and parking is plentiful. It was just me and my husband, which allowed for plenty of space for the two of us. Weather was perfect, although that wasn't part of the rental agreement :) Thanks for making our beach vacay another wonderful trip to Folly!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is exactly as described, yet even better in person. It was thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and absolutely immaculate. The bonus of having beach towels, chairs, and a wagon available for our use was a huge plus to us as we flew in from the DC region and wouldn't have been able to bring beach gear. The five-minute walk to the beach was a piece of cake, with the added perk of getting to walk right past Chico Feo and Bert's. Ernie was super fast to answer any questions we had. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this "gem" again!

Very pleased with the property and the location. Walk to the beach or Center street where most shops and restaurants are. We did rent a golf cart that allowed us to visit different parts of Folly with ease. We plan on returning to this property in the future.

Excellent place to stay on Folly Beach for two adult couples. We parked here and walked to the beach, the SUP paddleboard shop, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

Ernie was a fantastic host. The house was clean, there was ample parking, and communication from Ernie was great. All information about the stay was clear and helpful, we had everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach, and checkout was very easy. We would absolutely stay there again on our next visit.

What a great place! It was everything it was advertised to be and more. The location is perfect and it’s super easy to get to the beach. There is every thing you could possibly need in the kitchen, washer and dryer, shady screened in porch, beach chairs and toys— even a wagon! And it’s right by Bert’s market and Chico Feo— YUM! Ernie was a fabulous host and super responsive. A really wonderful stay!

Overall great house. Very clean and stocked with everything you need on vacation. Front porch was our favorite place to hangout. Easy walk to the beach and bars/restaurants….didn’t need to rent a golf cart!

You can't get a better Folly Beach vacation house! The location can't be beat - three short blocks to the beach and one block from Center Street restaurants and shops. The newly renovated house was sparkling clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. The screened-in porch was an incredible bonus; we were out there day and night. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The host has even provided a beach cart and beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use! All in all, it was the best beach vacation property we have stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot of places! I'll definitely be back!

Having managed family beach rentals at nearby Kiawah Island has given me a unique perspective on what makes for a fun and relaxing island getaway!
