Enjoy your stay at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean at this gorgeous, ocean view home. Situated on Saltaire Avenue, this home affords a 7 minute walk to family-friendly Roger Wheeler State Beach. The home features an “upside down” layout, meaning the kitchen and living area are on the upper level. You’ll find 4 bedrooms in total, with sleeping for 10 in beds. An additional small, quasi- bedroom allows you to sleep 12 in total. The huge, open kitchen/living areas offers ample space for gatherings, and off of that space is a sliding door to a deck with ocean views.

Best rental ever

Open, spacious, VERY well equipped, terrific ocean views from deck. Great communication with the owner. Nice, level back yard for lawn games with our grandson. Super easy walk to Roger Wheeler Beach. Plenty of room for our 3 generation family. We will definitely rent again.

The rental house was clean and well maintained. It is equiped with everything we needed to make meals for a family of 7. There was plenty of outside seating to enjoy the ocean view and watch the ferry pass by. Each bedroom had comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. It is only a short walk to Roger Wheeler Beach. Beach chairs, toys for children and beach carts were available for us to use. The owner was quick to answer all our questions and provide needed supplies when we were running short. Our family would stay there again.

Family Vacation in Narragansett

Veronica was a great host. She actively communicated with us before and during the stay and was easy to get in touch with. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Outdoor space was somewhat small for a larger group but had excellent views. Common space and seating inside was large enough for a group of 12. Very nice touch from the hosts leaving a lot of beach chairs, wagon, and boogie boards in the garage.

Great spacious rental, close to beach

Large and comfortable rental, with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Only issue we had was with noise downstairs. Any footsteps, movement or moving of chairs upstairs is very loud downstairs. Made sleeping difficult for guests in downstairs bedrooms.

Amazing Experience

8 of us (4 adults and 4 children - aged 3-10) stayed at this house and it was the perfect spot for our family. Clean, complete with many of the items you'd love for a beach vacation, and convenient to all Narragansett has to offer, we have already begun planning our trip to stay here again next summer.

South County Classic

We stayed here with another couple and several children and had an awesome time. Great location to walk to Roger Wheeler, Iggy's, or Benny's Clam shack. Point Judith and Scarborough beach were also just a short drive away. Nicely kept property and having a garage full of toys/activities for the kids was super convenient. Vanessa and Chris were great hosts! Would stay again.

Enjoyable stay

We had a smaller family gathering than expected but had a great stay. We were able to walk to the beach and the provided beach items were all in great shape. We were delighted to be able to put our car in the garage.

Perfect place for a perfect vacation.

Vanessa was great to work with. Quick, thorough, and helpful responses during booking, payment and renting periods. Accommodated our schedule and kept us up to date with RI news regarding Covid19 and related issues. The house was originally booked for 9 of us, but only 6 of us made it, including 2 small children. There was plenty of room to spare and escape to find quiet time. Common living space is large enough to accommodate at least 10 comfortably. Due to some of our group not coming, and the large amount of empty space, each of us found a spot and more or less claimed it for the week. Kitchen is wide and open and has all the tools you need to steam live lobster or bake a cake. Ample storage space in the pantry. Small sitting area next to the kitchen became the home office for remote work, kids drawing, or just politicking. Bedrooms were all large enough for you to spread out with large bathrooms both in the Master suite and the shared bathroom downstairs. Beds were comfortable, but you'll need to bring sheets and towels (which was disclosed on the rental page and several times thereafter). Laundry room was appreciated so we could wash whatever we needed. Hot water is HOT and plenty so long as you don't have all the showers running at the same time. 2 AC zones so you can customize the upper/lower floors. This we especially appreciated as we've rented other houses that lacked this feature and its difficult to get just right. Garage has beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach toys, and wagons for you to use. Garage is large enough for 2 cars, but we mainly used it as a staging area for beach trips. There's also a few yard games (horseshoes, corn hole) that we saw but we didn't partake in. Roger Wheeler Beach is a 10 minute walk. 1 minute drive (but you have to pay for parking). House is close to all the Point Judith favorites and it's quick and easy to get on 108 for all your needs, though Saltaire comes up on you quick from 108, we just turned at the light. Internet is fast and WiFi good throughout the house. We brought our Firestick and had 2 laptops and 7 phones and the Firestick streaming all at once and no one had lag issues. The outdoor shower is large, water flow is great and the water is hot. Grill on the back deck. Large enough for me to grill 8 porterhouse steaks at once. Plenty of gas. The front/side deck has plenty of room to enjoy meals outside or just enjoy the ocean breeze and relax.

Perfect summer vacation

There were 9 of us, ages 4 to 60 something, and we loved the design of the home and its closeness to the beach. The outside deck was awesome! The beach equipment was a big help also.

Worth Every Cent

The houses sure size, living/relaxing quarters and patio watching the sunsets we’re a dream come true. With a large family and in-laws we were all able to all be extremely comfortable. The location to Wheeler/Scarborough Beach and Block Island ferry were only a few driving minutes away. Newport is 30 minutes! Restaurants, food shacks, ice cream parlors and souvenir shops within walking distance. The owners were very welcoming with a bottle of wine waiting for us with a Thank You. Vanessa gave us her personal cell phone and texted back promptly. Overall, 5 stars. Renting again next year, just don’t take my week :) Outdoor shower was key!

Great Stay!

This is our second year renting 108 Saltaire, and it has been a fantastic experience. The property itself was perfect for our group of 10, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, very clean and has everything one would need for a week long stay. This property is an easy walk to Roger Wheeler beach, which is perfect for the little kids, and close to all that Narragansett has to offer. Vanessa, the owner, was super easy to communicate with and even had a bottle of wine waiting to welcome us. All in all it's just a great property, great owners, and would highly recommend to potential renters.
