Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Beaufort. This 1937 craftsman bungalow has been beautifully updated and is comfortably equipped with a full kitchen, furnished screened in front porch, two decks where you can sunbathe. And, much much more. What’s more, you can walk to all of the Intown activities and not have to fight for parking or pay for parking, because the house is located within walking distance of the antique stores, restaurants, and the waterpark on Bay Street.

Beautiful Beaufort home

We rented this home in Beaufort for two months. It was our home away from our forever home in cold and snowy Michigan. For two retired snowbirds, this was our best winter since retirement, in large part, due to our stay in Dana's Cottage. Dana's Cottage provided beauty, comfort, and a great location in our new, favorite city, Beaufort. The owner provided anything we might have needed beyond our clothing and personal items. We weren't just visitors, but we were actually able to LIVE there!

Quaint and Comfy

Sweet period home within a mile walk along breezy beautiful Bay Street to downtown. House equipped with all the essentials plus. A great launching point as we transition South. Thank you for such a quaint and comfortable space!

House is adorable and located within walking distance of many interesting things to do Beaufort is a beautiful southern town with lots of history. Some issues we had with the property included: although the neighborhood is generally quiet, jets passing overhead from the MCAS shake the house and vehicles from the nearby fire station go by on a nearby street several times per night with sirens blaring; the listing indicated that there was satellite or cable for the TV...that is no longer true; the hot water is scalding hot; bedding and towels had stains and were clearly not washed until we washed them and were in need of replacing, the bed pillows were stained, the owners clothes were hanging in the closets, and there was food in the refrigerator and freezer. These are things we have not experienced at any other VRBO property we have rented. If these things do not bother you then you will be perfectly happy with the property.

great home away from home for relaxing vacation

Very personable, thoughtful & accommodating host. Cottage is so inviting and comfortable and very well appointed. No need to take anything with you but your clothing and personal needs. Located with good access to surrounding areas for exploration. Would definitely go there again.

Felt like home

Was staying in Beaufort for three months for work and was able to book two of those at Dana's Cottage. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. For us, it felt like being home.

Fabulous rental!!

Well maintained, quaint bungalow in the heart of the city. Really lovely. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Only negative would be limited closet space. Would recommend this wonderful rental!
