As a vibrant hub for the arts, Brevard (30 min. south of Asheville) is also the crossroads to EXCEPTIONAL OUTDOOR RECREATION between Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park, Bracken Mountain Nature Reserve and the Land of the Waterfalls! Home to the white squirrel, the downtown is host to quaint shops, superb restaurants, art galleries, annual festivals and special events. After exploring the beautiful area come home to enjoy stunning views from our cozy, classic and convenient post and beam, Lindal Cedar home just 3 miles from downtown Brevard.
The house has an updated kitchen and 2-story great room with front 2-story views of the new front patio, the mountains and valley below. You'll also find a wood burning, stone fireplace, beautiful cedar beams, wall of windows and open floor plan, as well as a patio in front with THE STUNNING MOUNTAIN VIEW ! Off the back there is a relaxing sunroom and rear deck, with gas grill, table + 6 chairs and lighted umbrella, overlooking woodsy setting and a seasonal mountain stream. The main level boasts a MA bedroom ensuite with walk-in shower, and open living/dining/kitchen, laundry and powder room. Upstairs you will find a comfortable loft area with a full pullout couch, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Whether you prefer to relax by the fire, stroll the lovely neighborhood, hit the restaurants, shops or breweries in Brevard, bike in Pisgah or kayak on the French Broad River - there is something here for everyone!

One dog allowed with prior approval and $150 pet fee.

Stayed with another couple for a long weekend. The views are beautiful. The house was great…every thing you need is there more! Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Loved the town of Brevard and saw the white squirrels. Will love to return.

This home is beautiful in every area! The view is absolutely spectacular! Lora was a very accommodating host. The drive up to the house was a bit scary, but very worth it! Highly recommend this home for a memorable family trip to the NC mountains!

Absolutely. Lora was great at communicating with us. She texted me after we arrived and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. This house was a blessing for our family to gather after Christmas. It was stocked with every amenity you could think of, roomy and super cozy. The only thing missing was snow, so we will have to return again. Thank you Lora!

Our family highly recommends this property! This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have found. The location with its beautiful mountain view, serene setting, and proximity to Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest for our mountain-biking riders were much appreciated. Our family of 8 greatly enjoyed our time here. It's a gorgeous space.

This home is so beautiful with a perfect view. Well appointed with all the necessities and comforts of home. So well thought out for the comfort of guests. Lora is fantastic and communication was perfect. This trip provided a perfect getaway in a convenient location for my family coming together from 3 different states to meet up for Thanksgiving. Memories from this vacation will last a lifetime. Make sure to look up the “Pretty Place Chapel” schedule, it’s only 30 minutes away from the cabin and so worth the trip.

We visit the mountains frequently and this location can't be beat - close access to Pisgah and Dupont. The house was super clean, comfortable and had great views! We enjoyed our stay.

The home is spectacular! It is easy to get to and only a few minutes from downtown Brevard (cute town). 30ish minutes from Hendersonville another cutesy town and close to soooo many trails/hikes/waterfalls

Beautiful Property

We had an amazing stay, my family really enjoyed it with the gorgeous view of the mountains, and the kitchen have everything we needed to stay for a week, preparing our breakfast, everything is clean and organized, and the driveway is big enough to park at least three cars. Highly Recommend it for a family stay!
