As a vibrant hub for the arts, Brevard (30 min. south of Asheville) is also the crossroads to EXCEPTIONAL OUTDOOR RECREATION between Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park, Bracken Mountain Nature Reserve and the Land of the Waterfalls! Home to the white squirrel, the downtown is host to quaint shops, superb restaurants, art galleries, annual festivals and special events. After exploring the beautiful area come home to enjoy stunning views from our cozy, classic and convenient post and beam, Lindal Cedar home just 3 miles from downtown Brevard.
The house has an updated kitchen and 2-story great room with front 2-story views of the new front patio, the mountains and valley below. You'll also find a wood burning, stone fireplace, beautiful cedar beams, wall of windows and open floor plan, as well as a patio in front with THE STUNNING MOUNTAIN VIEW ! Off the back there is a relaxing sunroom and rear deck, with gas grill, table + 6 chairs and lighted umbrella, overlooking woodsy setting and a seasonal mountain stream. The main level boasts a MA bedroom ensuite with walk-in shower, and open living/dining/kitchen, laundry and powder room. Upstairs you will find a comfortable loft area with a full pullout couch, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Whether you prefer to relax by the fire, stroll the lovely neighborhood, hit the restaurants, shops or breweries in Brevard, bike in Pisgah or kayak on the French Broad River - there is something here for everyone!

One dog allowed with prior approval and $150 pet fee.

The house was the best equipped VRBO we have stayed in. Everything needed plus some. View of the valley below in the morning is great. Would highly recommend it.

This place is fantastic and Lora was a great host. I think this VRBO is stocked better than any I have ever stayed at. Main bedroom downstairs is very nice and then 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs so everyone has plenty of space. The highlight is the view though, it is spectacular. We are hopefully going to return for our annual NC trip!

Very nice home with a wonderful, always changing view. The location is ideal because it's in the woods but close to Brevard. House was clean when we arrived.

Very cozy cabin with great view. And close to downtown Breward. Very nice rooms and kitchen plenty of bathrooms and very clean. Had a lot to offer. Can’t wait to get back

The property is magnificent can’t wait to go back! Our host, Lora was excellent to work with and I highly recommend. It’s private but yet not too secluded. Only thing we felt lacking was Adequate lights for reading at night. Hoping to return in the fall of this year, especially love the white squirrels!!

Great Location!

We visit the mountains frequently and this location can't be beat - close access to Pisgah and Dupont. The house was super clean, comfortable and had great views! We enjoyed our stay.

Our family highly recommends this property! This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have found. The location with its beautiful mountain view, serene setting, and proximity to Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest for our mountain-biking riders were much appreciated. Our family of 8 greatly enjoyed our time here. It's a gorgeous space.

Beautiful property and location

Everything about this property is perfect… house, neighborhood, view, communication with property owner, nearby activities. This was our 3rd year renting this property and we hope to be back again next year!

Beautiful Property

We had an amazing stay, my family really enjoyed it with the gorgeous view of the mountains, and the kitchen have everything we needed to stay for a week, preparing our breakfast, everything is clean and organized, and the driveway is big enough to park at least three cars. Highly Recommend it for a family stay!
