Home to the white squirrel, the downtown is host to quaint shops, superb restaurants, art galleries, annual festivals and special events. After exploring the beautiful area come home to enjoy stunning views from our cozy, classic and convenient post and beam, Lindal Cedar home just 3 miles from downtown Brevard.
The house has an updated kitchen and 2-story great room with front 2-story views of the new front patio, the mountains and valley below. You'll also find a wood burning, stone fireplace, beautiful cedar beams, wall of windows and open floor plan, as well as a patio in front with THE STUNNING MOUNTAIN VIEW ! Off the back there is a relaxing sunroom and rear deck, with gas grill, table + 6 chairs and lighted umbrella, overlooking woodsy setting and a seasonal mountain stream. The main level boasts a MA bedroom ensuite with walk-in shower, and open living/dining/kitchen, laundry and powder room. Upstairs you will find a comfortable loft area with a full pullout couch, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Whether you prefer to relax by the fire, stroll the lovely neighborhood, hit the restaurants, shops or breweries in Brevard, bike in Pisgah or kayak on the French Broad River - there is something here for everyone!

One dog allowed with prior approval and $150 pet fee.

This is a great place to stay to enjoy the mountains of North Carolina. Watching the mountains out the front window is peaceful and entertaining (clouds and sun change the view constantly). Lora makes sure that you have everything you need and responses quickly - great service. The house is clean and updated. Also, the house is both remote and close to downtown Brevard. The short road up takes you away from the activities and restaurants in Brevard to your own world, but without sacrificing the ability to have dinner downtown (my favorite was Wild Morel) without the worry of a long drive home. Summary: Fantastic !!!

Our family highly recommends this property! This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have found. The location with its beautiful mountain view, serene setting, and proximity to Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest for our mountain-biking riders were much appreciated. Our family of 8 greatly enjoyed our time here. It's a gorgeous space.

Gorgeous views, peaceful getaway

My boyfriend and I recently spent Easter weekend at this lovely place on the hilltop. The views from the front patio Adirondack chairs was a perfect ending to each day as we sipped wine, disconnected and enjoyed good conversation. The house is well stocked with anything you would need and very spacious. There are even items for your little four-legged friends to enjoy. We encountered 1x issue while there, but it was promptly resolved. The bathroom showers are bit odd from a design perspective but there are 3x bathrooms to choose from. We would return again and enjoyed our stay here.

The home is spectacular! It is easy to get to and only a few minutes from downtown Brevard (cute town). 30ish minutes from Hendersonville another cutesy town and close to soooo many trails/hikes/waterfalls

Comfort in the mountains

We really enjoyed our 6-week stay. The house felt like a home, with everything we needed. We were comfortable from the minute we arrived. The photos online don’t do the view justice. Long range views of the Pisgah valley and mountains, from 2 story windows, or turn around and feel like you’re in a tree house. I loved the cedar planked flooring (smelled so good) in the screened porch with rockers, perfect coffee spot. The street feels like a drive in the forest, far from a suburban neighborhood. Just wonderful!

Always outstanding!

This was our second stay. This home is our favorite out of many places we have stayed. Everything is 1st class. The view is amazing and the house is perfect! Owner is always responsive and a pleasure! Highly recommend.

Our week in Brevard

The house is beautiful and well provisioned. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as the location, close to Brevard as well as DuPont, Gorges and Pisgah Forest. Great variey of hikes. This was our second year in the house and we will probably reture again!

Great Location!

We visit the mountains frequently and this location can't be beat - close access to Pisgah and Dupont. The house was super clean, comfortable and had great views! We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Mountain Home

An amazing home with a gorgeous view of the Brevard valley. The kitchen is open to the living area which lends itself to together time for the renter. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The furniture comfy for relaxing as well as comfortable bed mattresses. The hostess was very accessible and checked in more than once to make sure all was good. If looking for a relaxing mountain getaway, this house has it all.

Just amazing....

The Blair House is just amazing. Lora has a gem of a home. We stay in VRBOs all over and her home is in the top 5. She's a great host and we particluarly enjoyed the view and fireplace (with plenty of firewood - thank you Lora!). We will be back again and recommend The Blair House to all!

Best place to stay in Brevard

This house is even better than the pictures and description online. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. The house was immaculate - not a cobweb in sight - so kudos to whoever the owner uses to clean the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's so close to restaurants and downtown Brevard. Don't think twice - just book it!

Spectacular house and setting

Unfortunately a very short stay for us but the sunrises were spectacular and the view from the enormous living room windows was superb. I don’t see how anyone could be unhappy staying in this home. Great neighborhood, too.

Fall colors

We have been wanting to take a trip during the leave change to see the beautiful fall colors and we haven’t been able to coordinate time off to be able to do it but this year we were able to have a few days off from school and work to do so. After researching some of the places that were known for the fall colors I came across Brevard North Carolina! I went on Vrbo and started looking for houses in that area and came across this property. It was absolutely gorgeous, so we booked it immediately.The drive on the way to the house was absolutely breathtaking so gorgeous and once we arrived at the house, it was better than the pictures even expressed. The house was very clean and beautiful. Perfect location had everything that we were looking to experience and so much more. So many awesome hiking trails close by with beautiful waterfalls JUST GORGEOUS!!! We will definitely be back! The only negative was that we couldn’t stay longer 😂

Wonderful home and breathtaking view
