Amazing home and view. Maybe a little big for just two but can’t remember a trip we have enjoyed more. The lake is amazing and even us seniors enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Went into Brevard for dinner and had a great dinner at the Blind Mule !

This home immediately fell into the #1 spot as the best overall VRBO we've stayed in (and we use VRBO at least 3 times a year). Absolutely perfect home. Stunning views, large and fully stocked modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic (and huge) master suite. The master bath is extremely nice, great water pressure in the beautifully tiled shower, and the beds and bedding were perfect. I mean, seriously no complaints about any part of our stay. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Lake Tranquility is a beautiful home with a phenomenal view of the lake, and the surrounding mountains. It’s located in a very peaceful area. The owners provided everything you would need to have a wonderful time in their lovely home. Our family members had a fantastic time; and my husband especially enjoyed fishing from the Dock. We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Lake Tranquility. Also, we would like to thank the owners for letting us stay in their lovely home.

This is a beautiful property for a family or anyone to enjoy the best of lake living in the NC mountains! I highly recommend this property.

From the moment we walked in and saw the magnificent view it was a delight. The location is peaceful and quiet and the steps-away dock is supplied with kayaks and paddle boards. The house is nicely furnished, clean and comfortable with multiple spots for reading. The kitchen is a cook's delight, and there is a large game room with plenty of games for a rainy day. The owners are excellent communicators. We loved spending time at Lake Tranquility and hope we can visit again.

Magnificently situated with view of mountains on the lake. Fully equipped and immaculate luxury home with all the accoutrements a guest could hope for. Perfect for my husband and I to enjoy hiking, pickleball, swimming, golf, SUPs, and just relaxing on the dock and soaking up the beautiful view and weather after a fun day.

Fabulous place with perfect lake views and access. The whole family including the dog loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Can’t say enough good things about how much we enjoyed our week here.

We had an enjoyable stay for spring break! Our kids had a great time playing in the water with the provided paddle board and kayaks. The view was beautiful and serene. What a wonderful home!

We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house in Connestee. The home was peaceful, well stocked, and perfectly set up for both relaxation and family time. We especially loved the serene lake views, fishing, kayaking, and easy access to walking trails and pickleball. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It was a wonderful retreat. We would absolutely love to return.

More than we hoped for! Being able to swim off dock, beautiful view of lake from house, big rooms, access to paddle boards and kayaks. Only slight downside is arrangement of bedrooms. The third bedroom is right off the main living area and doesn’t have a bathroom. Worked well for our family this year though! Our grandkids loved paddleboarding and kayaking around the lake. Perfectly sized to just let them go with their cousins also staying on the lake.

Lovely lake view. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and having coffee. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of games and opportunities for entertainment, including ping pong! Hosts were helpful and communicative at every point.

This house on beautiful Lake Wanteska is a terrific place to enjoy with family. The large kitchen and dining area can easily accommodate larger gatherings. The bedrooms could happily house 6 adults and 2 children - so our foursome had abundant space. The master bedroom and bath is spacious and a real place to retreat. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The comfortable sitting area on the deck - overlooking the lake - was a great place to read and to gather together to visit. We also enjoyed hanging out on the dock by the water as well. We made use of all the toys - kayaks, paddle boards and tubes. The lake in the early morning or the end of the day was a calm and delightful place to be. One of our party swam laps in the lake daily. We took many terrific walks on the path around the lake with our dogs. Our visit was too short to want to go anywhere else but...it is close to shopping and restaurants in Brevard as well as plenty of hiking all around. Great hiking right there in Connestee as well! We'll definitely be back!

If you like peace, quiet and beautiful views this is the place. Immaculate and clean inside with spacious rooms all on one floor! Three separate sets of steps heading down to the dock, as well as two other places on the property that are available for fishing or loading a kayak. The landscaping is very lovely and well maintained. You can tell they take pride and excellent care of the property. Rick was quick to respond for any needs or questions. Would definitely go back again.

relaxing and quiet

We enjoyed our week stay. Nice to have community amenities and a clean lake! We brought our float mat which was fun to chill in on the water :)

Lake Getaway

The house and views of the lake were amazing. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Tranquility! The neighborhood amenities were great, the hiking trails were fantastic, and the house was clean and comfortable.

Perfect home away from home!

Loved the property! Beautiful decorated and has everything you need for our long weekend. The private dock was great for the fishermen in the family! Would definitely stay again!
