This inviting 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home comfortably sleeps up to six guests, offering space for families or couples seeking an intimate mountain escape. The open floor plan creates an easy flow between kitchen, dining, and living areas — perfect for gathering after a day of exploring Western North Carolina.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch rocking chairs, listening to songbirds and the rustle of trees, or unwind on the spacious back deck as the sun sets over Mt. Pisgah and the French Broad River Valley. On quiet evenings, you may spot the region’s famous white squirrels, graceful deer, or even an occasional black bear wandering through the property — a true taste of mountain life.

The primary suite features a king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress and direct access to the deck. A downstairs bedroom and bath offer extra privacy, making the home ideal for multi-generational groups or friends traveling together.

The views from the back deck were stunning. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and store meals. Luxury linens were on the beds and mattresses were very nice and comfortable. The cabin was plenty spacious, with special touches like throw blankets, room spray, and a forgotten toiletry cabinet. The open floor flan upstairs, half bath, and amazing back deck with views for miles were bonuses that only sweetened the deal. While we didn’t use the fire pit and downstairs den it was nice to have extra amenities. We would certainly pick this property again.

The views did not disappoint! Sunset was magnificent every night and we could enjoy the view just as much from the inside as the outside on the back deck. We loved the property and the house was clean and comfortable with great communication from the host. It is also very convenient to the Pisgah Forest, DuPont State Forest and close to a wide array of grocery and dining options. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful Views - Excellent Host

The property itself is beautiful with amazing views and plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy them. The home itself is very charming and well kept. The highlight for me was getting to watch the elusive white squirrel from the front porch! Finally, the host was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

Great weekend get away!

This home has an awesome view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is comfortable and peaceful. The access roads are gravel, but an easy drive.

It became our retreat from busy lives in Louisiana, a quiet refuge where we could slow down, breathe deeply, and feel the presence of God in the beauty around us.

Today, our daughters manage Mountain Ridge Cottage, continuing the family tradition of sharing this special place with others. What began as a dream for us has become a legacy of love that spans generations. We hope every guest experiences the same peace, renewal, and sense of connection that our family has found here.

We were drawn to the small-town charm of Hendersonville and Brevard, where friendly people and an easy pace of life make every visit feel special. From the moment we first drove up Turkey Creek Drive, we knew this was where we wanted to be. The breathtaking mountain view from the deck immediately captured our hearts and continues to be the highlight of every stay.

Our goal was to create a mountain retreat where we could gather with our children and grandchildren — a place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Western North Carolina. The Turkey Creek Drive community offers the perfect balance: peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to everything. In just ten minutes, we can reach local shops and restaurants, and the Asheville Airport is only 25 minutes away.

It’s a safe, welcoming place where our family (and now our guests) can enjoy the outdoors, pursue their interests, and experience the restorative calm of the mountains.
