This property feels secluded up a gravel road passing rododendron to a lovely ridge top setting with the most beautiful views all the way to the Great Smokey Mtns. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.

My wife and kids loved the property. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us to space out and we enjoyed the view from the back porch.

I would give this property 10 stars if possible. The view of the mountains and sunset is magnificent. The kitchen is so well equipped I could prepare anything. The entire house was spotless, furniture and beds very comfortable. Easy access to shopping and endless hiking trails. We will definitely stay at Hilda’s cottage again when visiting the area and have recommended to friends.

My friend and I get together once a year and this year we went to Hendersonville. The accommodations were excellent and our host made it very easy to contact her with any questions or concerns we had. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean and provided everything we needed. The views of the mountains were incredible and the back porch made it easy to enjoy in the morning and at sunset. It was very easy to get around and visit downtown, Asheville and the Biltmore.

The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The mountain view is beautiful with fog in the valley each morning we were there. Peaceful morning tea on the front porch introduced me to the white squirrels which do seem plentiful. Evening wine on the back deck with the mountains was gorgeous, and the setting sun was impressive. We were there in early October. The trees were in the early stages of changing colors, and was very enjoyable to experience. We did go to the Asheville area and to the Biltmore one day. Mileage-wise, very close; however, it does take 45-60 mins to drive. Hiked one day to see 3 beautiful waterfalls about 30 mins from the house and spent a couple hours shopping and having lunch in Hendersonville. All-in-all, nice, busy days and laid-back evenings.

Lovely, quiet property. Well appointed and comfortable, centrally located for Asheville, the Biltmore and hiking in DuPont State Forest.Sunsets from the back deck are spectacular!

The views from the back deck were stunning. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and store meals. Luxury linens were on the beds and mattresses were very nice and comfortable. The cabin was plenty spacious, with special touches like throw blankets, room spray, and a forgotten toiletry cabinet. The open floor flan upstairs, half bath, and amazing back deck with views for miles were bonuses that only sweetened the deal. While we didn’t use the fire pit and downstairs den it was nice to have extra amenities. We would certainly pick this property again.

Peaceful property with beautiful mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon. This home is clean, organized and nicely appointed. The host is warm and responsive. Highly recommend!

The views did not disappoint! Sunset was magnificent every night and we could enjoy the view just as much from the inside as the outside on the back deck. We loved the property and the house was clean and comfortable with great communication from the host. It is also very convenient to the Pisgah Forest, DuPont State Forest and close to a wide array of grocery and dining options. Would absolutely stay again!

Blue Mountains

Great Location and View, Home and fire pit made our stay the Best so far. Also the Home owners really care about your stay.
