Puamana 21D is a cute and cozy townhome right in the heart of all that Princeville has to offer! Your private, cottage-style retreat has two comfortably furnished bedrooms, a warm and inviting living and dining space, and a fully appointed kitchen for all your needs. You'll also enjoy the shady private lanai, with peekaboo ocean views and seating for two.

Situated perfectly for you to have quick walking access to everything in Princeville, Puamana 21D is a fabulous jumping off point for your island adventures. Anini Beach, home to Hawaii's longest coral reef and perfect for swimming and snorkeling, is just a brief 8 minute hike away on a shady path. The Princeville Shopping Center is only 15 minutes away on foot, and has a Foodland grocery store, plus enough dining options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters in your party! You can also visit the farmer's market every Saturday morning, and grab a treat before enjoying the free Saturday afternoon hula show. The Westin Resort is even closer to Puamana, only 2 minutes walking, and offers access to a Starbucks, grab and go minimart, and upscale dining at the Nanea restaurant (head over for happy hour deals from 3-5!). For even more retail therapy and dining, the picturesque island town of Hanalei is a 10 minute drive away, as are the iconic beaches of Hanalei Bay. For a quieter experience away from the crowds we recommend checking out the Kilauea Point Lighthouse and beautiful nature preserve just a short drive away.

If you prefer to stick closer to home, the Puamana complex has everything you need for a great staycation! Spend the day lounging by the pool with a cocktail (plastic cups only, please!), enjoy an evening stroll along the golf course greenbelt, or soak up a sunset from your lanai. After your stay here, you'll leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Want to make your way around the rest of the island? Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 55 minutes, and to the South Shore is 90 minutes.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is a two-story home. You must be able to go up and down one flight of stairs to access the master suite.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Nice winter getaway

Great place to stay on North side of island. The only reason I have it a 4 on cleanliness is some of the furniture is a bit worn and could use an update. Property management team was great to work with and very helpful. Would stay again

Nice Stay

Overall was great, the place could have been a little cleaner, but the bedding was clean and fresh. The pull out bed was broken but functioned well enough. It was missing an outdoor table which would have been great to have. Overall we really liked it and though it is outdated, I would stay here again.

Family paradise

Great place for our family, all neighbors were very nice and kind. Would definitely recommend to other family’s with children under 13. comfortable living for a week stay in paradise. Would stay again.

Amazing and spacious rental made for a great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed in this beautiful and spacious 2BR for our anniversary and were thrilled with our stay. The openness of the unit made it very comfortable and we could enjoy the garden views from the master loft bedroom, living room and the kitchen. We enjoyed coffee and drinks on the lanai whenever possible, taking advantage of the views down to Anini Beach and the shade provided by the large tree in the garden. We grilled some Mahi on the lanai’s grill (bought from the fish market behind The Dolphin in Hanalei - highly recommend).The bed was comfortable and the ceiling fans (combined with a smaller plug-in fan provided) made the temperature comfortable the entire time. Because of the high ceilings, this unit feels very big. We didn’t need it, but there is a second bedroom and bathroom that would be great for a family. We loved that this is a corner unit. And on the other side of the Westin driveway is a golf course. The property was very quiet the entire time which made our stay more relaxed and enjoyable. We enjoyed taking the 6-8 minute walk down to Anini Beach through the lush green jungle-like trail. And once at the beach...it was almost totally private and only a handful of other guests ventured down. The sandbar reached for the length of a football field, and the water is calm and perfect for taking a morning dip (while the wife would scour the beach for shells and coral to add to the unit’s collection — remember: we shouldn’t take anything from the beach back to the mainland!). If you are traveling anywhere on Kauai, make sure to bring spray for the bugs, and some earplugs for the roosters. It’s their island, and we’re just visiting.My wife and I can’t wait to come back to this unit soon!

Dad and daughter trip

The condo was very clean and in a great location. There was no problem with anything we needed. Loved the ocean view from the patio outside the back door. This was my second time in Princeville and my daughter’s first. The condo was very nice and I would completely stay here again.

Rooster

This is a nice property and a great area, but unfortunately, it was not disclosed that the roof was being replaced. They offered a one day credit that did not include the fees associated with the stay. When I asked them to include the fees for the credit, they told me they felt their offer was fair. It also needs to be exterminated because my guest that stayed with me found a large cockroach. Hawaii is known to have wild roosters and chickens running around, but I had hoped there would not be many at this location, but unfortunately, they start crowing at 1:30 in the morning.

Peaceful and spacious

We loved our stay. They provided everything we needed and there was a lot of space. The walk to the beach is beautiful but could be pretty challenging for some.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The management company should deal with the roosters which live in the parking lot. I live in Hawaii as well and every few months have to trap and relocate roosters so my tenants can sleep. This should especially be done in an area with high occupancy and no air conditioning which means we have to have windows open as they units are already especially hot upstairs in the loft where the bed is. I guess I missed the fine print that the unit is also right on the road to the Westin and there is some traffic noise. The main bed was not great. My tall partner kept bumping his feet on the high profile foot board and the mattress had us rolling toward the middle most of the time.

Cozy & Comfortable

This is a great location. I loved the beaches on this side of the island. Hanalei Beach was our favorite. We had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, pretty lanai, and we made great use of the beach chairs. That was a real plus. The landlord was quick to answer questions. This is a great place to stay!

Beautiful View on the Northside of the Garden Isle

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very easy to find and I was readily updated via text regarding our arrival, where to park, and how to access the unit. Parking pass is necessary for this location and it was missing from the property. The resident manager was supposed to drop off a replacement but that never happened. I believe we were lucky to not get towed because we did see a few cars getting towed during our stay.Overall, the unit is in a great location, close to Anini Beach with a great view of the ocean. The amenities are a bit dated but fully functional. It does look like the showers were updated more recently. We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

Quick Getaway

Property was neat and tidy, all amenities available as listed. Great views from the back patio and a trail to beach access close by. Wahser/Dryer sets off the smoke alarm, but all in all...a great property to stay and relax!

Summary of 21D stay

Property Manager very helpful. Excellent service. The bathrooms very clean but place is dirty. A lot of dust & dirt. Place needs a through cleaning- from the top to the bottom. Nice view, appliances clean. Adequate supplies!

Great Stay - Would come back

This property was a great place to stay. It had everything I needed and appreciated the beach supplies. I took advantage of utilizing them. I appreciated that there was a small mini cooler since I didn't really need the larger one. The pictures do show two couches in the main sitting area, but there was only one, with two chairs. I didn't really need both couches, but more just making it known in case this was significant to anyone inquiring.

Excellent location and beautiful view from the back porch!!

This was a lovely property to stay at, the condo was immaculately cleaned and had everything you needed for a perfect island getaway! We utilized the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler on Hanalei Bay - one of our favorite days for sure. Its right next to Foodland so we cooked some meals in, the kitchen is perfectly stocked with items you need for cooking! We had meals on the back lanai and enjoyed the ocean view and the shade from the most gorgeous giant tree right out back is amazing!! The ocean breeze comes right thru. I highly recommend this property. If there was one criticism i would say its time to change the matress upstairs in the large master suit loft area. Its only a queen and is sagging in the middle so you roll into each other. The room could definitely accommodate a king size bed, its a lovely master suit and very nicely decorated as is the whole condo, just beautiful!

Classic hawaii style. Easy location with car.

Overall we had a great stay!! There were a few issues with the place, like, I think they should sort through/and upgrade the kitchen supplies. 20 wood spoons, and no ladle. Old teflon pan. Broken faucet sprayer. Plenty good for cooking a meal though. We'd come back for sure, except I saw the huge price increase. Won't be for middle class folks any more. :(

Fun rental in a great location!

End unit steps to the path heading to super-private and calm Wylie Beach, directly across from an inactive golf course. Unit was clean, well organized, with a good kitchen. Parking was free and accessible. Management was super responsive and very easy to work with. Definitely consider staying here!

Very comfortable, great home base for exploring the island

Reviewer Comments: It was a very comfortable apartment, everything in good working order, plenty of space, comfy beds, and a work desk with plenty of charging outlets next to the kitchen. It's really close to the beach, the path is right across the street, and you can see the ocean from the living room and lanai. We walked over to the Westin every morning to get a coffee at Starbucks, it's just a couple minutes walk. The only sort of drawback is it's a corner unit so it's right by the road. It's not a busy road, there's nothing else out there except the Westin, but you do hear it every time a car or a delivery truck goes by. It didn't bother us at all, but we noticed it. We slept very well, it was nice and cool with the ocean breeze blowing. Kauai Kahuna was great to work with, really helpful and responsive, and everything went smoothly.

Nice location, poor sleeping

This location with a glimpse of the ocean at this price was good. The great room and kitchen was an airy, open space for four adults. But the bedding was nearly impossible to use. The queen bed in the lovely master loft is too high for anyone shorter than 5 ft, 5 in. or most people more than 75 years old to access. The twin trundle bed in the small bedroom is a comfy twin, but the trundle can’t be used—when open, it fills the entire room. One of the living room sofa/hide a beds is broken and can’t be used, plus, a person is uncomfortable sitting or sleeping on the closed couch. The other sofa, when opened, has a very thin mattress and sags too much for anyone more than, say, 80 lbs, and certainly can’t hold two adults. This place could be an excellent choice were it not for the impossible sleeping arrangements.
