The Get-a-Wave Cottage is located in the waterfront community of Nettles Island (Lot #2091) in Jensen Beach, Florida (South Hutchinson Island). Situated right on the Indian River Intracoastal Waterway with a private dock and access to all of the community amenities. The home is a short 4-minute walk to the beach, and has been newly renovated for a modern, comfortable vacation stay. Open floor plan with amazing water views of the Nettles Marina and the Jensen Beach Bridge. The cottage offers a modern, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining and bar area, living room with water views, 2-bedrooms, 1-bathroom, deck and dock. Gated community with many amenities, close to restaurants, beach, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and more!

Great little cottage in a great community. Perfect for our family of 4. Listing just as described, very clean and well equipped with everything one might need. This was our second time staying in this house. It is very comfortable and in a fantastic location. Short walk to beach and both pools were wonderful. The beds are very comfortable and the furniture is all new and modern. Will definitely be back again.

Enjoyed our stay so much that we're going to plan to be back. Being able to fish right from the back door was so nice, especially since there were always different types of fish to catch. And having the little grocery store in eyes view was so convenient for bait. Even if we weren't fishing, just being out on the pier was so beautiful, especially at sunset. The view from the kitchen sink made doing dishes so much better. Place had everything we needed, including beach gear. The beach was a quick drive across the street or a 5 minute walk. We met the hosts of this place and they were absolutely friendly and helpful. Would love to return to this place soon!

You can’t get closer to the water! Lots of fish to catch, and beautiful view. We watched multiple dolphins. I didn’t want to leave. My husband would fish 12 hours a day. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of linens. Kayaking was fun.
Friday was overcast, but the rest of our stay was beautiful weather.

Great vacation spot

This was our second stay and it was wonderful again. Everything is clean and comfortable! Luisa is very quick to respond to any questions to make sure the stay is seamless. Great dock to fish off of or just enjoy relaxing. Short walk to the beach. Perfect location.

Fishing getaway

We have stayed here many times and always have a great experience! We love the location and the dock being steps out the back door. We will definitely be back for more fun in the sun!

Beautiful views

Our stay was wonderful. The house was spotless and very modern. Luisa was very easy to get ahold of for questions. The location is perfect close walk to pool and beach. Restaurants in walking distance. The amount and variety of fish we caught off the dock was amazing. Will definitely stay agai!!!

Great place to stay

My stay at this property was fantastic. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this was one of the best. Property was just as the photos portrayed and the view of the intracoastal was phenomenal. I have usually stayed at beachfront but was very happy I chose this location, especially since the community had a beach side pool and beach access. One of the most amazing things was all of the items that were included such as beach towels, beach chairs and even a number of items like salt, pepper and a few other spices, bug spray, and many more items.

Sisters Getaway

We loved our getaway trip at Luisa’s place. The patio on the water was perfect for morning coffee. We rented a golf cart and spent our days on the beach. Many nearby restaurants were a short Uber drive away. We hope to return next year at the same time.

Perfect get away

Perfect spot to relax and the fishing off the dock is some of the best weve encountered. The host went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and made sure qe had everything we needed along with some great fishing tips along the way. Great host, excellent fishing and a very nice home on the water and close to the beach.

A true gem of a property

I am not exaggerating when I say this is a gem! Check-in was a breeze, exactly how the property owner explained it. The inside was nicely remodeled and was cleaned very thoroughly. It had everything you would need, and we loved the Keurig machine! But what sold this property, was the private dock and the kayaks. We loved being able to go out on the water and enjoy fishing and kayaking around the mangroves. Everyone on the little island was so welcoming and nice. The property manager was incredibly friendly and was quick to answer any questions I had. We can't wait to come back!
