Plenty of parking in driveway for 5 cars!!! REEL BLESSING, features three bedrooms with a luxurious KING Master Suite with a Kluft mattress (featured in Bloomingdales). The 2nd bedroom on the second level is a bunk bed extravaganza (2 bunk twins/full sleeps 6 kids). The ample room in this home is a great set-up for two families. The balcony and patios give you ample room to lounge around in a tropical paradise. French doors open up to soak in the tropical Gulf breezes. The home is located on the 2nd beach street in the neighborhood and is a very short walk to the beach, the large heated community pool, onsite tennis and basketball courts or restaurants. Great house/neighborhood

This was our third time staying in this particular neighborhood, and it never disappoints. The home was nicely decorated and very convenient to the beach. The owner is always great to work with. We all had a great week and the weather/beaches were awesome!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay for the months of January and February. The weather in January was wetter and cooler then in previous years, but we made the best of it. Jackie, the owner, is fantastic!! Thanks, jim&Barb

Short walk to the Beach

The house was very nice, clean, and decorated very nicely. The owner was nice and responsive and provided all the information needed. The house was a short walk to the beach as well as the pool. A couple of restaurants were within walking distance. Very safe and quiet community.

Beautiful property, excellent location, two houses from the pool and 300 yards from the beach.

We are snow birds from Michigan and stayed here for seven weeks. The house was great, met all of our needs and very well stocked. The master bedroom/bath is on the main floor, and the two guest rooms on the second floor. Had friends and family join us, and they loved it as well. Coming back next year.

Rate 3 starsCONS:All bed and bath linens need inspection: sheets and pillow case stained, bed pillows flat like a two dollar purchase, towels shredded. Hall toilet and door dirty, HVAC air return and filter filthy. First level back porch too dirty to use. First level hall bath toilet loose, freezer side of refrigerator leaking water. Front door appearance makes very bad first impression due to filth and broken blinds, making it suspect about what we would find inside on arrival. Front door not functioning such couldn’t open left side making passage too narrow for luggage (or wheelchair in my case), second level porch table has shattered tile insert. PROS: good Destin location, gated community, nice pools, private secured beach pavilion with easy access, very accessible and responsive host, nice corner lot, sofa recliners a great plus (especially for me as served as a handicap bed), updates were notable , kitchen well supplied , good WiFi speed first level, weaker signal second level, lots of available power outlets for chargers etc, pre-visit extensive list of what to bring and rules of rental, but needs edits/update. SUGGESTIONS: send in a repair man before next listing, add a couple of handicap bars in first level master bath (toilet and shower) for older clients, add cushions to bar stools, have HOA deal with driveway ant beds and quit blowing trash onto back porch, new cleaning service, visit property on occasion as problems aren’t recent

Fun in the Sun

Very nice and loved the location of the house from beach to pool. The home was nice and only a few things we had to let owner know about. I loved the fact we did not have to unpack our car and take an elevator up to any floors, all we had to do is unpack and move in. The bathrooms were great and beds comfortable. It was great having a Dollar General within walking distance, to pick up supplies we needed. The beach was great and dinning was close. We will be back.

Great location!

There were 5 kids under the age of 9 and 4 adults. This house was the perfect size for our group. It is located within a short walk of the private beach the HOA owns. There are plenty of beach toys provided as well as a wagon. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Location

Location was perfect! Short walk to the beach. Nice and friendly neighborhood. Walking distance to the Dollar General was a bonus for us when we ran out of sunscreen or needed ice. The home fit 2 families of 4 very comfortably! Would stay here again.

Spring Break 2022

Jackie’s place was great! The location is awesome, only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the house was very clean. Highly recommend her place for any families visiting town as there is plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!

Great location in Destin and in the Neighborhood

This was a great property located on the beach end of the neighborhood. About a 5 min walk to the private beach. This part of Destin is crowded but this property feels private. This particular house has a great parking space and yard area.

Perfect for families

Great location, only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family of 4, but would easily accommodate more. The listing was very accurate, and Jackie made sure to check in with us the morning of our check-in date. She was very responsive to any questions we had. A good, clean, problem free house helps make a vacation much more enjoyable.
