Serenity Cottage is a charming three-bedroom, three-bathroom vacation rental nestled in Miramar Beach, Florida. Comfortably sleeping up to nine guests, this beautiful home offers an inviting coastal escape just a short walk from the beach. Designed with an open floor plan and stylish décor, Serenity Cottage features a private pool (can be heated for a fee), a furnished patio with a gas grill, an outdoor shower, and second-floor balconies overlooking lush gardens and the pool. With adult bikes included, guests can easily explore the area and enjoy everything the Emerald Coast has to offer.

The full kitchen at Serenity Cottage is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals with ease, from quick snacks to gourmet dinners. Outfitted with cookware, modern appliances, and both a Keurig coffee maker and traditional options, you’ll have all the essentials to dine in and savor the comforts of home.

I have stayed in this property under previous owners, and it was excellent. It was exactly the same this time around which is the best praise I can give.

Our 8‑week stay exceeded expectations. The home was very clean, with comfortable beds and sturdy furniture perfect for a long visit. Great location—quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach, and close to stores and restaurants. Kitchen had basic cookware, the grill was well‑used, and the older washer/dryer worked fine. Internet wasn’t working at arrival, but management responded immediately and had it fixed the next day. The heated pool was heavenly, and the wraparound porch became a favorite spot. Only downsides were limited food storage and very few hangers. We enjoyed daily beach walks and pool time and plan to book for next year.

The place looks amazing from pictures which no doubt are a little older now.We were greeted by only what I can describe as human excrement in the flower bed area near a side entrance. Probably someone deciding this would be a great spot to pop a squat on the short walk to or from the beach. I reported to staff and not sure if it was cleaned up we just used the front door only after that.Once inside we saw stained furniture and rugs which were beyond their time of use as the couch was very worn in and stained and the rug was dirty and curling in multiple spots. I figured this is a big place and a beach house so we could get over it. The floors were not very clean, the washer and dryer were old and showed age and wear and didn't work well. The one dish soap packet was not enough for the trip and we had to go to store for soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc.Not what you would expect for 2,500! The pool was nice but had only a skimmer to clean it, no sweeper or Polaris for the sand that got blown into it during the storm that came through. Also no outdoor shower as described in the listing. They really dont give you anything except towels and some hotel style soap bars. Not even a salt and pepper in the place. I got more in half the price of this one before. Once we relaxed inside the first evening, the tv in the living room was broken and inoperable. Roaches in the kitchen and the outdoor grill. Call a exterminator folks. Not worth the money. Get a condo or hotel rm.
