Best Vacation Home in St. George!
We were pleasantly surprised with this unit because it had everything we needed for 12 of us!!! The house felt "homey" and comfortable to sit on the couches and be together, the dining table sat all of us at once (that's a big plus), the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the location was near a grocery store, Tuacahn, and highways to get into town. The area is located near lots of hiking trails, historic sites, National Parks, and good restaurants. So much to do, not enough time! We liked the location of the house because it was close to the resort swimming pool area with lazy river, kiddie area and large hot tub. There was plenty of parking for 5 cars, and though the neighboring homes were quite close and we could hear the occupants outside, everyone was quiet by 9pm. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived, but repairs were started early the next morning and we were able to use it by evening - good job! Some of the outdoor furniture was a little worn in places, but the fire pit, barbecue, and plenty of seating outside was perfect. One drawback was the triple-bunk beds without much headroom, and we had an adult sleeping in that room, so we put a mattress on the floor instead. Bathrooms were clean and roomy, and it was nice to have an ensuite for each bedroom.
All in all, it was a great weekend, no complaints, and we plan to return again next year!
