"Best view in Cashiers" is a quote from a local Real Estate friend. Our beautiful, fully equipped 3 bedroom, 3 bath home, at 4,000', has a 75 foot long, partially covered deck affording a 180 degree view of Whiteside Mountain, the Chatooga River valley and much more. Highlights include a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi, Dish TV, excellent sound system, Gas Grill and a separate, large, "Green Egg." Come sit on the deck and enjoy the fabulous view! House was built, to our design, in 1993.
Six minutes from downtown Cashiers, shops, grocery, etc.
Highlands is a 20 minute drive; Sylva and Brevard 30 minutes, each; and Asheville 1 1/4 hour. Greenville, S.C. airport is 1 3/4 hour; Atlanta 2 1/2 hours.

Perfect house for a mountain getaway.

This is a great home with fantastic views of the mountains. Plenty of space to spread out inside and we loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The house was well equipped with everything you might need for cooking and the location allows for easy access to everything in Cashiers. We would love to return for a longer stay.

Fantastic view, great location, dated bedrooms

We really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s house which does truly have the best view in Cashiers and a great location. Contact with property manager was simple. Bedrooms are dated and I’m glad we brought our own pillows. Pretty clean, but definitely a musty smell until able to open all windows and doors.

Great location

The house has fabulous views and is set in a beautiful wooded neighborhood between Cashiers and Highlands, close to an Ingles. Unit very comfortable with a great library.

Amazing views

Our stay was one of the best we’ve had in any VRBO. The short, mid and long range mountain views were incredible. We did have a plumbing issue but it was resolved successfully. The host was very responsive to our needs. We highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous View!!

Jim's place was very welcoming and easy to find. The view is so stunning we were all excited to get up and have our morning coffee to the expansive views from floor to ceiling on the entire backside of the house. Everything you need is at the property. Lot's of hiking near by as well as Highlands downtown. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and provided for a great work-out walking up and down the streets. Our host was easy to get ahold of and responsive with questions. Thanks so much Jim. Roxana

Million Dollar View

The moment we unlocked the door we fell in love with the view and the home. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Kitchen very well stocked with supplies you might need for cooking/baking, as well as bathrooms and laundry room supplies. We were very happy to have our GPS help us find the address our first time in this area. We will be returning...

We've already re-booked for next year!

We had a great week. The view is every bit as incredible as advertised. And the house is very comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Jim also made restaurant recommendations that were spot on. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Absolutely BEST VIEW IN CASHIERS!

The view was indeed the most beautiful one I’ve seen. It was very private and certainly comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We certainly thank Jim for the enjoyment of his wonderful home!

Fabulous view!!

The house was perfect for the two of us and the deck with the fabulous view was just what we wanted, The weather at 4000 feet was was cool and delightful, We hope to do it again.

Bird watcher's delight

We were blessed with some clear sunny days and enjoyed the layers of mountains view. startled and thrilled to see a white squirrel and also a maybe red squirrel, (not seen in Chicago area). Homeowners provided bird seed, and we had shelled peanuts which we sprinkled on the wide railing .We saw a wide variety of birds some uncommon to our area. Beds were comfortable, and there is an amazing library ...loved all the views and natural light.Humming birds came to the feeder. We enjoyed one day just bird watching ..... families of nut hatches, families of tit mouse, red headed woodpecker,Eastern towhee and song birds too small to identify.

This is a beautiful, fully equipped home that all of our local friends continue to praise as having the best view in the area. Located on three wooded acres, in a very quiet subdivision with only four other houses on our dead end street, it is the perfect place to "get away from it all", relax, and enjoy the wonderful North Carolina mountains, with close proximity to surrounding towns.
