The comfortably furnished lakeside living area features a steel/wood staircase to the 2nd floor, see-through gas stove, dining area, large windows and opens to the 3-tier deck which includes a bonus covered area featuring a gas Kitchen aid BBQ with side warmer. Up the spiral staircase to the second floor, you'll find a luxurious master suite with a lakeview jacuzzi tub. Around the corner, a large shared bathroom, 3d bedroom with a queen-size bed, a landing area with a TV area great for kids entertainment.
Overlooking Lake Michigan you'll see St.Helena Island, Michigan's Lower Peninsula-Mackinaw City & the Mackinac Bridge. Lake Michigan offers unlimited kayaking, boating, and swimming opportunities while the historic land provides endless possibilities including hiking and bird watching galore.

Location is perfect! View is amazing. Close to anything you would need! Found Apple Maps for directions was better than google.

The house was amazing and could easily be a destination onto itself. We were a three generational family of 12 with ages ranging from 2-65. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out.The kitchen is very well stocked as is the rest of the house. We loved the private beach and fire pit.

Very nice house on a very quiet road which was a plus as opposed to Route 2. We were disappointed that the terrain at waterfront was very rocky, even for water shoes.

We had a phenomenal stay at this property. The beds were comfy and linens clean. It was well stocked with games and dishes. The view was the star of the show and we all enjoyed the outdoor area. The beach is very rocky, so bring your water shoes if you want to explore, but my kids were still able to boogie board and play in the water. The view of the bridge and freighters going by was so fun! Also note that geese seem to love the yard, so watch out for their droppings on the wat down.The only negatives were that the house is in need of a deep clean. It was clear it had a surface clean prior to our arrival and was clean enough, but the air was stale, at least an inch of dust under the couch, and drains were slow because they were clogged with hair. Overall it was still adequately clean, but a deep clean recently would have made it a 10 out of 10.Don't let that keep you from booking the house, because it truly is spectacular otherwise.

The place could have been cleaner. The deck outside was covered in Spiderwebs and dead bugs. It only took 20 minutes or so for us to clean it to be enjoyable but that should have been done before we got there. Also the grill was not a very scrubbed clean grill. I had to run it hot and do several scrubbings prior to using it.Overall a very fun place to rent. Great location.

This house was perfect for a weekend with adult family! Right on the lake with a great views and access to kayak/ swim in the lake. Outdoor space was perfect with plenty of chairs and a table. Inside was clean and had everything we needed from board games to cooking utensils. We were very happy with our stay!

This was a wonderful meeting place for the family for the holiday get together. There was plenty of room for all of us to play games and do puzzles and make a lot of memories. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed for the traditional HUGE turkey dinner and fixings. Loved the location on lake Michigan and want to come back in the summer to fully enjoy the lake. It is a beautiful location.

Great weekend!

The property was perfect for a fun filled family get together! The property was clean and well furnished. The view of the bridge was great, plus we enjoyed a couple of beautiful sunsets.

Cozy Lake View Retreat

We loved our stay. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were there to take our daughter over to Mackinac Island to see all the horses and while it was fun to be on the island, it was nice to have a cozy, quiet place to come in the evenings for relaxation and a beautiful private piece of lakefront property to call ours for a few days!!!

Private with beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is very private, and not only is the view beautiful but the sound of the lake's big water hit the shore is so soothing. It is clean and quiet. Neighborhood is secure and house is easy to access.

Fantastic Long Weekend

We rented the property for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. We had 8 adults with more then enough room to relax. Property is close to town and other UP attractions. Beautiful view of the straits and barges.

Winter weekend

Great location and wonderful house, perfect for a large family. The only issue we had was that the driveway and sidewalk was not shoveled/plowed so plan for that if going in the winter. We would love to go back in the summer so that we can enjoy the lake!

Fall getaway

The UP is beautiful this time of year. The house was great , clean , well stocked . Internet and cable was spotty but we did not care. We would stay again.

Beautiful location

The house was just as shown. There was lots of room for the whole family. There are lots of extras included. Our family really enjoyed game nights from the large selection of games in the house. We loved having s'mores around the SoloStove firepit provided. Having breakfast on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake is so peaceful. Overall, a great trip.

The perfect place to relax and get away from it all.

Beautiful, isolated location with lovely outdoor amenities. We swam in the lake (the shore is rocky so pack your water shoes), enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and soaked in the wonderful views of the lake and the bridge. We also enjoyed fun day trips to Mackinac Island and Tahquamenon Falls. One week was not long enough to enjoy all this place has to offer. The property was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, blankets, and sheets. Keypad entry made check-in and check-out a breeze. We’d definitely come back!

Amazing Stay! Would Reccomend!

Overall the stay was incredible. Beautiful property with lake access in view of the bridge. Plenty of sleeping options. House is close to all the major attractions around St. Ignace. 5/5. The only downsides were the hot water at the house wouldn’t stay hot enough to take a full shower, even if you were the first of the day it would get cold after 5 minutes or so. Also the bugs were everywhere making the deck/outside hard to enjoy but that’s because the time of year we went (2nd week of May) and not because of the property.

We loved the house and the location, but we had some issues. There was just tiny bit of dishwasher detergent and only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. The hot water was “on demand” but was spotty at best. Most of our showers were lukewarm, cold, and tempid , with surges of hot water interspersed. Whenever we used hot water, if we had the windows open, we could smell gas strongly. We contacted the gas company (as directed), but the house does not have natural gas. After lengthy phone conversations, we realized it was propane. We contacted the after hours rental number and got no response. The gas company contacted the owners, then called us back. Apparently they have had this problem before, had it checked out, and inspected, and there was no danger. Just don’t open the windows if you’re using hot (warm) water. Since this is not a new problem, why do they have the gas company number on the list of emergency numbers? Something is definitely wrong with their on-demand system. We did get a response about the TP and detergent. They told their team! No one ever brought us TP or detergent. We did love sitting by the lake, skipping stones, the gas fireplace, and the amazing portal window! Our family had a great time, but we almost evacuated over the gas! We shut it off for a while when we were waiting for a response. I feel like communication was very poor. It was frustrating. The grill was dirty. We did not use it. We had a good time in spite of the problems.
