Live the Island life and experience ultimate island living on Wightman Lane, a private shell lined street located just 4 homes from the pristine beaches of Captiva Island. You are just a short walk to all of the islands favorite restaurants, galleries, shops and local marinas plus live music. Relax as you are surrounded by the lush tropical landscaping with two levels of outdoor living. You will love everything Serenity has to offer!



Please Note: Captiva Island is scheduled to undergo a beach renourishment project which may begin 9/1 at Blind Pass and move north through 10/31 that may result in temporary beach access limitations, construction activity, or noise near your property. While we strive to provide accurate updates, timelines and impacts are subject to change and beyond our Sanibel Captiva Island Vacations control.



HOME FEATURES

This private island pool home features an expansive open gourmet kitchen, dining, and living room area perfect for entertaining or relaxing with family and friends. Flat screen smart TV's are featured in the living area and all bedrooms, as well as free WIFI. Serenity offers a unique 3 bedroom island home which is perfect for a group of 6, including 1 king master suite with ensuite bath along with two private queen bedrooms, one with its own ensuite bathroom. Serenity also features a large caged in heated pool and hot tub for year round enjoyment! Relax on the upper and lower covered terrace areas for outdoor entertaining poolside. You'll be surrounded in privacy by lush tropical landscaping and gardens, all while being so close to all the action in the village area. Experience this luxury island getaway. Golf cart and bicycle rentals are available nearby to explore Island style! Garage not available for guest use.

Walk to beach

Excellent property just steps from the beach. Spacious and clean house with a nice pool and hot tub. All you could want for a stay on Captiva.

The Great Disappointment

Very nice property. Beautiful interior. Open concept perfect. Pool and hot tub could have been great, if cleaned.Recovery from Hurricane Helene and Milton slow. Construction traffic and work everywhere and road grading for 2 days. Should have been advised..Problems:Kitchen sparsely equipped- extra silverware, potholders wine glasses needed.Pool and hot tub not cleaned before arrival, and pool and tub not cleaned on the Friday before we left as represented. Pool never used.Grill was atrocious and unusable. Gas would not lite 2 of 3 burners, and service request was not responded to. Never used as planned..White sectional sofa and chair dirty. Cleaning necessary.Beach accessories below par, 1 umbrella and 4 short legged chairs. Full size chairs should have been provided. No beach wagon.Front door hard to open with key; sliding door almost impossible to lock.No top covers on 2 of 3 outdoor trash containers-2 full of water.Stone walks still covered with sand and mud. Should have been cleaned. Right rail to pool area loose and door return broken off screened door.Out of your control, but red tide in Gulf of America and many dead fish on beach very unpleasant . Health concerns with red tide (coughing and itching)Overall, not ready for guests.

Serenity

The house was very nice, the furnishings very comfortable. There were some maintenance problems, loose front and back handrails, which could be dangerous for renters. The location is ideal for a short walk to the beach, and the island is always enjoyable for vacationers.

Absolutely Amazing

We stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. The house was walking distance to the beach and to the bars and restaurants. It was clean and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone.

Serenity was just what we needed for this vacation.

Serenity was just what we needed for this vacation. Relaxing is an understatement. Amazing area. Beautiful property. It couldn't have been easier. The team was extremely helpful both prior to and at arrival. I tell everyone I can about this experience and this property. I've heard horror stories about rental companies and properties on Captiva/Sanibel and was a little wary, but our experience was the complete opposite of any horror story.

Would have been 5 stars all the way if spa issue was rectified. Fixing that for future guests is a must. One of the main reasons we booked this was for spa to use. So disappointing that we couldn't use it that much. We should have called management number again about it but had too much going on and didnt. That is on us. Everything else was great and would stay again as long as spa problem fixed.

Serenity is always such a nice stay.

Serenity is always such a nice stay. Very clean and has all the amenities you could ever want. The beds were very comfy at night. Perfect for a day after the beach. 3 showers was perfect. Nobody has to wait to shower if they wanted to. The outdoor shower was the perfect addition to help rinse off all the sand. The location could not be more perfect. Only a few steps from the beach - what more could you want. Be sure to try Joey’s hot dog boat and the Bubble Room cake while you’re there! The property management team was amazing. So easy to work with and available to reach out to. Will definitely be working with them again.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Love the decorating style, the master bath, the pool, the lower level and the front porch. Used it all! Open floor plan and cathedral ceilings make it appear even larger. Nice short walk to the beach and local restaurants was super convenient. (please check into the thermostat on Master side of the house...the room was very warm to sleep in, and thermostat was only working intermittently. Ice maker not working... not sure if intentional...we purchased our own ice) All excellent!! I'm sorry I can't recall the young ladies' names that assisted us regarding the pool situation. They were prompt and courteous and wanted to help rectify our problem as quickly as possible.

Was even better than the pictures showed! Love, love, Serenity! We will be back for sure. Some small tables by the pool to hold a cocktail/snacks or book would be nice. We have been renting on Captiva for years and this was the nicest rental we've had. Spotless, comfy and well stocked. Was even better than the pictures showed!! We only had two quick maintenance issues and they were resolved within an hour.

Great house in the heart of it all

The house was clean, the pool was kept nice and warm (it was 60 degrees outside most of our visit) and the check in/out process was simple. We had a great time!

My biggest gripe, and it's not just with SanCap, is this - I spend $7,000 or more to rent a house for the week and that doesn't cover a decent bar of soap or a few extra rolls of toilet paper? It can't cost more than $25, to put a full bar of Dial soap in each bathroom, a six pack of TP, 3 rolls of paper towels and six detergent pods for laundry and dish washing in the house. It's the little things that matter. Serenity has plumbing and septic tank issues. The tank was pumped out during our stay but we still experienced water on the front walkway anytime the showers were used. The main bedroom toilet backups when the bathroom sink drains. We had a couple of maintenance issues and they were handled quickly and professionally. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and responsive. Thanks!

We were blown away by the property.

We were blown away by the property. Not only was the location perfect, the house, pool and grounds were spotless and gorgeous. The house is well equipped with everything a family needs. The proximity to the beach, local restaurants and the local market makes it even better. Your team was well organized and provided excellent information on the property and the check in/out process.
