Fantastic stay! Had everything we needed and the location is amazing near Blackstone and midtown (bars, restaurants, entertainment, etc). Would recommend! The owners were great and very flexible (bag drops and we left something at checkout).

Cozy and Convenient

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had a lot of character and was well-maintained for its age. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place

After a long 5 hour drive it was easy to find and check in. Very nice comfortable place for our family to relax. My only suggestion would maybe be a couple chairs in the front porch and back deck area

Nice location

Location worked well for us. The house was very clean, although if you are sensitive to smells the basement smelled a bit musky and/or wet smelling

Stairs to go to bathroom, bedroom difficult for some people.

We clearly disclose that there are no bathrooms or bedrooms on the main floor and that the stairs are difficult because it's an historic home. We even go to the extent of disclosing that the wood is squeaky and smells like old wood, as many old homes do.

Worked for us!

We were in town for a wedding. This location made it very convenient to the wedding venue. It was clean and comfortable. This property suited our needs and I loved that we only had to take care of ourselves upon departure. So many places have a long list of items to be done before you leave. All we had to do was lock the doors.

Vacation visit

Overall it was good. A little outdated. Not super clean. The one side of the rental had a big party the one night til like 4 a.m. and walls are super thin. But overall for a short stay(3 nights) was good.

There may have been a party but the walls are far from 'super thin' this is an all-brick 100-year old historic home. Look at the photos, we preserved the original woodwork but put modern granite countertops. Some people dont' appreciate history, maybe next time stay at an ALoft or a W.

We stayed here with family for a quick trip to the Omaha Zoo. This property was a quick drive to the zoo - less than 10 mins. The property has been updated and each room has fans or an in-window AC unit. The property is an older house so if you need more outlets, be sure to bring a power strip. Also, be aware the stairs to the bedroom downstairs are very shallow and steep - there is a warning on the door. It would be nice if there were chairs on the front and back patio. Overall it was a great stay for a 2 day trip.

The inside of be property was cute and clean. We were not able to park in the front so we parked in the back. The stairs were horrible. Didn't seem safe and nails and tin sticking up. The neighbor seemed a little rough. The bed room with the 1 beds in it smelled like smoke from neighbors smoking and outside and Ac sucking in that air.

The host was great, however the property needs some upgrade. The power in some rooms kept going out including the outlets. The water in the the downstairs shower intermittently went stopped working. It was cold in the downstairs room and we were given a heater that staryed sparking, so we stopped using it. The stairs to the downstairs room was very steep and slipped and slid down the stairs. I walked in through the front door and one of door trims came off and hit me in my head. The price was great but, I guess I got what I paid for.

not great, but adequate. has anyone checked under the beds in forever.?? Absolutely filthy. Not very well stocked. No mixer, no blender, pretty much no anything. We had to go out and purchase these items for ourselves. I fully expected them to be there. This was our first rental with VRBO, and I am leaning to not using them again. You may call me if you wish to discuss further. At least the air conditioning worked. Not even a spatula.

Anytime something is missing we deliver it, we even followed up the first morning to make sure everything was ok as we always do. We do not provide a blender, that's not in our amenities list. We would have delivered the missing utensil had you asked.
