**This home is Historic, over 120 years old. the original wood floors still exist, so expect that the floors will creak and squeak and at times it will smell like a museum. some interpret that as a musty smell. it's not bad for most but expect that you are staying in an historic home. it's not that strong, but we like to put it out there to set expectations. and rmemeber the floors squeak!

Steps from Midtown Crossing and a short jaunt to Downtown! Please also check out our similar townhome right next door. If you have a larger group coming in, we can sleep up to 20 between the two townhomes!

This home includes a spacious open main floor concept featuring a formal dining space for meal gatherings, a beautifully remodeled kitchen, family room, and a spacious front porch for relaxation. All perfect touches for maximizing your entertainment space! This space includes four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, sleeping ten people comfortably. Thoughtful touches of detail from exposed brick, beautiful wood work, and tile back splashes showcase the unique quality offered by this wonderful property. Upstairs: Three bedrooms (queen size beds) and one bathroom. Main floor: Living room, dining room, kitchen, front and back porch. Lower Level: One large bedroom with two queen size beds as well as bathroom and Laundry room. Included: fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities. Bathrooms include all essential toiletries. All linens, towels, and pillows will be provided with a stress free relaxing stay.

This property is nestled in the heart of Midtown Omaha, which makes its location second to none. Walking distance to Midtown Crossing and Blackstone shops, bars, restaurants. Have a day free? Enjoy taking in the Historic Old Market, or visit our world famous Henry Doorly Zoo. Feeling a bit of luck on your side? A wide variety of casinos are just over the bridge, making the adventure just a short 10 minutes drive .

The host was fantastic, the house charming. The neighborhood isn’t great. But we enjoyed walking to Home Grown restaurant for breakfast. The house sleeps a good number of people and the beds were comfortable.

Awesome location and the house had everything we needed! Blackstone area and midtown are walking distance (fun stuff to do, bars, restaurants). The property managers were great and so was the cleaning staff! Short Uber/Lyft to downtown also. I would stay again!

Overall the place is very spacious, however you get what you pay for. The house is obviously old and everything squeaks and cracks. The downstairs is musty smelling, so use the humidifier. There have been pets in this house because our clothes were covered in pet hair.

My overall summary is that the accuracy of the photo's is false. Dove up to the place and found the outside of the property not maintained. When you look at the property photos it looks vibrant and a nice neighborhood. Well its not. (Please reference pics below) The inside of property is old and dingy, but clean. Window frames cracking and painted over. Both porches were old and rotten looking. Inside of property is like grandma's house clean but old, lighting dim. Linnen old. In the pics the place looks vibrant. Its not.

Thin walls loud neighborhood

The remodeled bathrooms were nice and the house had charm, the rooms were drafty, two of the kitchen cabinet doors were coming off the hinges. The neighborhood is loud in general and you can hear the tenants next door through the walls. Not a great place for small children, no door going to the basement bedroom which was dangerous. It a good place for a bachelor or bachelorette party.

Overall good

The house was as expected and the neighborhood was in a great location for all we wanted to do. However, the cleanliness of the house wasn’t what we expected. There were used q tips in the basement bedroom and the sheets smelled of axe body spray so we didn’t think they were properly cleaned. The stairs to the basement didn’t look like they had been vacuumed either. In addition, the doorknob kept falling off of one of the upstairs bedrooms. The hosts/management company did send several messages asking us to tell them if anything was wrong so that they could achieve a 5 star review, but we feel the house should be cleaned and everything in proper order before guests arrive so that they don’t have to be bugged by maintenance or cleaning during their stay. Contacting the host for these items should be a rare occurrence such as a storm, or mechanical failure.

Wonderful place, attentive management!!

We arrive to the wonderful place to see that the previous renters reported the refrigerator may not be working. As soon as I confirmed it was not, the management jumped on sort out the issue for us, as we traveled with food that needed refrigerated/frozen. Within a couple hours some maintenance workers showed up with working refrigerator from another unit and hauled it in on a day that was almost 100⁰ and very humid. The place was conveniently located to lots of activities and great food. 100% would book again if in the area!

Family wedding

Lots of character, wonderful bedrooms, the basement space is super cool,we love the exposed brick walls.Lots of hot water in the showers. wonderful air conditioning on the hottest weekend of the month. We were able to walk to 2 different districts for food and fun, very short and inexpensive Uber drive from the airport. Plenty of parking around the house. Perfect amount of amenities.

Great Stay for Large Family

Great property

We enjoyed our stay - the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and each room had their own tv. We would highly recommend it for your group. WIFI was strong even in the basement suite.

Great weekend getaway

We all enjoyed our stay. The property was great and a wonderful size for our group. We loved being able to gather around the table and play games after our day at the football game. Thank you so much for such a great stay for my husbands birthday!

Stay near downtown Omaha

The property was clean but the couch and loveseat were completely worn out. The faux leather was shredded in places and completely missing in spots. When you sat down it was hard to get back up. It also isn't a good place for older adults as there is no toilet or bedroom on the main floor. It was actractively decorated.

This property is located in a fantastic area of Omaha called Midtown. Within walking distance is Turner Park at Midtown crossing which hosts live music events, flea markets and more throughout the summer. There are also myriad restaurants, a scotch bar, a movie theatre, Coldstone creamery and a local grocery store to name a few.
Blackstone is just a couple blocks to the west of Midtown crossing and features local restaurants, several of which have received national attention in publications such as Food & Wine, Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and more. Blackstone also has many bars, including a wine bar (Corkscrew) and a speakeasy (Osteria Segretto - if you can find it!).
