**This home is Historic, over 120 years old. the original wood floors still exist, so expect that the floors will creak and squeak and at times it will smell like a museum. some interpret that as a musty smell. it's not bad for most but expect that you are staying in an historic home. it's not that strong, but we like to put it out there to set expectations. and rmemeber the floors squeak!

Steps from Midtown Crossing and a short jaunt to Downtown! Please also check out our similar townhome right next door. If you have a larger group coming in, we can sleep up to 20 between the two townhomes!

This home includes a spacious open main floor concept featuring a formal dining space for meal gatherings, a beautifully remodeled kitchen, family room, and a spacious front porch for relaxation. All perfect touches for maximizing your entertainment space! This space includes four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, sleeping ten people comfortably. Thoughtful touches of detail from exposed brick, beautiful wood work, and tile back splashes showcase the unique quality offered by this wonderful property. Upstairs: Three bedrooms (queen size beds) and one bathroom. Main floor: Living room, dining room, kitchen, front and back porch. Lower Level: One large bedroom with two queen size beds as well as bathroom and Laundry room. Included: fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities. Bathrooms include all essential toiletries. All linens, towels, and pillows will be provided with a stress free relaxing stay.

This property is nestled in the heart of Midtown Omaha, which makes its location second to none. Walking distance to Midtown Crossing and Blackstone shops, bars, restaurants. Have a day free? Enjoy taking in the Historic Old Market, or visit our world famous Henry Doorly Zoo. Feeling a bit of luck on your side? A wide variety of casinos are just over the bridge, making the adventure just a short 10 minutes drive .

Great Stay for Large Family

This property was fantastic for our family to stay in. Bathrooms are very nice and beds were very comfortable. Was able to fit all of my family in here. Would definitely stay here again.

Thin walls loud neighborhood

The remodeled bathrooms were nice and the house had charm, the rooms were drafty, two of the kitchen cabinet doors were coming off the hinges. The neighborhood is loud in general and you can hear the tenants next door through the walls. Not a great place for small children, no door going to the basement bedroom which was dangerous. It a good place for a bachelor or bachelorette party.

Great weekend getaway

We all enjoyed our stay. The property was great and a wonderful size for our group. We loved being able to gather around the table and play games after our day at the football game. Thank you so much for such a great stay for my husbands birthday!

Creighton basketball weekend

Place is nice, walk to Midtown restaurants. Beds were clean and comfortable. Dining room table is perfect for a large group.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay - the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and each room had their own tv. We would highly recommend it for your group. WIFI was strong even in the basement suite.

Family wedding

Lots of character, wonderful bedrooms, the basement space is super cool,we love the exposed brick walls.Lots of hot water in the showers. wonderful air conditioning on the hottest weekend of the month. We were able to walk to 2 different districts for food and fun, very short and inexpensive Uber drive from the airport. Plenty of parking around the house. Perfect amount of amenities.

Great house, lots of space.

We really enjoyed our time at this house. It had the perfect amount of room for us (5 Adults). Its location was very close to everything. The only hard part was finding the tricks to locking the front door. Would definitely stay here again!!

2 day short vacation

Great location, central to all of our activities. Grandkids had no problems with the property and that is significant since they are used to venues like Disney World. Older four-plex but nicely remodeled.

Wonderful place, attentive management!!

We arrive to the wonderful place to see that the previous renters reported the refrigerator may not be working. As soon as I confirmed it was not, the management jumped on sort out the issue for us, as we traveled with food that needed refrigerated/frozen. Within a couple hours some maintenance workers showed up with working refrigerator from another unit and hauled it in on a day that was almost 100⁰ and very humid. The place was conveniently located to lots of activities and great food. 100% would book again if in the area!

Stay near downtown Omaha

The property was clean but the couch and loveseat were completely worn out. The faux leather was shredded in places and completely missing in spots. When you sat down it was hard to get back up. It also isn't a good place for older adults as there is no toilet or bedroom on the main floor. It was actractively decorated.

Great old townhouse in quiet neighborhood

Perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 small children. 3 bedrooms and bath on 2nd floor, great bedroom and bathroom space in basement. Fully equipped kitchen. Parking on street or behind building. We were there for a wedding so did not walk in neighborhood. We were there to sleep and shower, and that we did, The building has good bones and owner appears to be gradually improving over time. There were a few minor maintenance issues, and they were fixed promptly.

Cute home.

We really thought the house was perfect for our family of 10. Wish it had a high chair but we made due. We didn’t know where to put the trash so we just added it to the trash from the last family that stayed there, it was pretty stacked up by the time we left. The dining room table was awesome, just needs some tightening up as the benches were quite wobbly. The house itself was quite charming and decorated really cute. We truly enjoyed staying there and would rent it again if we ever stay in Omaha again.

Great for girls weekend

We had a great time hanging out at the house. It was perfect for 7 ladies for an annual girls weekend. Updated nicely. Very clean. Had all the supplies we needed. Our only issue was the door lock. It was very hard to get it locked and unlocked each time. Luckily it was nice out but I’d hate to have to stand in cold or rain for as long as it took to get door open each time. Other than that we loved it and would absolutely recommend it!

charming home to celebrate Christmas with family. Unfortunately, it also had its shortcomings.

The large porch, brick exterior, large windows, and historical charm coupled with the snow made for a lovely place to spend Christmas. Unfortunately, the experience began with a last minute call at 6 pm as we were heading to the VRBO that the cleaners had failed to clean, maybe had the flu, and therefore we needed to relocate to the townhome next door with fewer bedrooms. We also reviewed all the information but were unable to figure out how to lock the doors. We tried to contact the manager, but it was late and she was unable to get back to us. So we put chairs in front of the door, this was unnerving because we had the children sleeping in the basement and adults on second floor. I woke up multiple times to check the doors and the children. I did spend 30 min the next day and figured out how to lock the door, but it was unlike any lock I had ever used before, not traditional. We also experienced plumbing problems in the basement bathroom, and therefore were unable to use it. We were limited to one shower with 8 people, a little inconvenient. Another mishap, my 8 year old nephew was coming down the outdoor stairs and the railing was rotten and precarious and he almost fell. The last small inconvenience was everyone was cold at night with no extra blankets. I think this place has great potential, but has some work to do. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here.

It was okay. Not terrible, not great.

Spacious property with room for several guests to spread out. Nice kitchen appliances, sufficient space to prepare a basic meal. There were limited kitchen supplies and coffee pot needs to be replaced. Large dining room table, that was a plus. We did have an issue with bugs. Owner was very responsive and sent someone out to spray right away. Unfortunately, the bugs came back. The air conditioning didn't work properly. It ran for 2 days without stopping and was not able to ever get to the set temperate. It was not set at a crazy low number, it was set at 70 degrees, but temperature in the house at night was 78. Was a warm couple of days! Again, property manager was very responsive and sent a crew out to look at it. It did improve, but still did not ever catch up to the set temperature. We had a very unfortunate event one evening which required us to call 911. A person beat on the back door repeatedly, yelling and tried to get inside in the middle of the night. As two women staying there alone - we were very frightened. The police were at the unit for nearly an hour and eventually arrested this person (who was also jumping on top of the cars parked in the street by the time they arrived). We never felt safe there after that. I realize that this was no fault of the owner and I am sorry to bring this up on their review - but due to this event, I will not stay in this unit again. It is not an area that I, as a female traveling alone, would want to be in.

This property is located in a fantastic area of Omaha called Midtown. Within walking distance is Turner Park at Midtown crossing which hosts live music events, flea markets and more throughout the summer. There are also myriad restaurants, a scotch bar, a movie theatre, Coldstone creamery and a local grocery store to name a few.
Blackstone is just a couple blocks to the west of Midtown crossing and features local restaurants, several of which have received national attention in publications such as Food & Wine, Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and more. Blackstone also has many bars, including a wine bar (Corkscrew) and a speakeasy (Osteria Segretto - if you can find it!).
