Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and new flooring throughout. Comfortably sleeps 11. 1 King, 2 Queens, 2 Full, 1 twin day bed. Gas Grill. Flat screen TV, cable, internet, beach chairs and umbrella, located 1/2 mile from the beach and steps to community playground/basketball/tennis courts. Fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor hot shower. Patio table with seating for 6-8 and 2 lounge chairs. (Please note that guests must supply their own linens and towels) Close to great restaurants, churches, Block Island Ferry and entertainment.

Eastward Look cottage

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was a 5 minute drive to Scarborough Beach! The cottage was brand new inside and very roomy for 3 families plus children. Plenty of room for the kids in the back yard plus a nice patio for the adults to relax after a day at the beach. Would highly recommend this place. Location was awesome

Home redone and comfortable. You can walk to beach and there’s a playground on street

Home is well stocked and very organized. Love this beach area because it’s not very crowded. Usually dropped off beach gear and most people but it is very walkable. Chris and his partner are extremely nice and available for anything you need. I will definitely go back there.

July 4th Week Stay

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. It was very gracious of the owners to left a welcome basket upon our arrival in the house. Most of the rooms was newly renovated and overall it was very clean. All the bedrooms were spacious with queen and one full size bed, which was perfect for our family of 6' teens. The AC in each bedrooms were perfect, we do wish there was one in the living room/dinning area. The upstairs shower/tub could use the higher ceiling, as my husband was 6'+ and was slighltly uncormfortable for him in the shower being so tall. The outdoor living area was very clean, bright and spacious. We highly recomend this property and will rent possibly again next summer. My family and friends were very happy staying here!

Wonderful all around

My family and I had a great stay at this wonderful home. A very walkable distance to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, and a beautiful piece of property. The home is well appointed, looking forward to staying again.

Great family trip

The house was great- had everything we needed. We really appreciated the beach gear and being able to just walk to the beach without the hassle of parking was wonderful. The north end of the beach is pretty quiet and we had plenty of space to spread out. Waves were the perfect size for the kids. Already thinking about staying here again next year!

First time renter via VRBO

We were surprised with a thoughtful welcome gift bag and fresh flowers on the table. The house was very clean. The kitchen well stocked. My daughters are good cooks and found not one whisk but 3 different sizes! Location was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes. It was a great experience. Thank you Chris

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was updated and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood and park down the street was great for our little kids. We had a minor issue with the grill and the owner was able to resolve it very quickly for us. Highly recommend this place!!

Great summer getaway

We were a family of five, including my elderly mother, and found this house to be a great choice for our last minute getaway. The house was updated, clean, spacious, well stocked, and nicely decorated. The owner Chris was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The ease of getting into the house, along with first floor bedrooms and bathroom, accommodated the mobility needs of my mom. The beach was only a half mile away, and allowed for us to go back and forth throughout the day. The large amount of cabinet space gave us room to store all of our food items. The outdoor shower, along with a nice entryway way, helped curtail the amount of sand brought into the house. Outdoor seating allowed us to eat outside some nights, and we were provided with a beach cart, umbrella, and plenty of beach chairs during our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental house, and would love to stay here again in the future.

RI beach getaway

We had a great time exploring the area and RI beaches. The house was very clean and recently renovated. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was plenty of space for our family of 6. The property managers even left us a welcome tote with snacks and some wine, very nice touch. We would have liked to seen on the listing that linens and towels are not provided. Also, there is a park with tennis and basketball courts and a little playground only a few yards away. It would have been nice to know this in advance so we could have brought a basketball and tennis rackets with us, or had them provided with the house rental. Overall the stay was wonderful and we will be back! The house is in a great location, close to all area beaches and a short drive to Newport.
