We loved the location and building. Everything was as advertised and better! The beach was beautiful and we would like to come back again!

November in May Fiddlers Cove

November in Hilton Head suits us because it’s quiet but still lots to see and do. Walking, biking and playing tennis are still enjoyable even on the cooler days in November. The Hilton Head Symphony orchestra also puts on two concerts during the month and community theatre is very active in November too. Fiddlers Cove, built in 1980 is well maintained but unfortunately for us the pool was being repaired in November so the adjacent hot tub was closed for the entirety of our stay. The tennis courts feature clay surfaces which are easy on the legs and reaction time for us senior citizens. It rained a couple of afternoons but we were able to pop over to the nearby Northridge 10 to catch a couple of films for only $8 (seniors rate). And the highlight of our stay was seeing a manatee at Hudson’s on the Dock as we had no idea they lived in South Carolina

Birthday stay

The location and ease to the beach and trolley stop were great. It was quiet and the local people we met who lived there were very friendly. Keep in mind I am am a clean freak, the cleanliness was not to MY standard. No shade to the owners, as I'm sure they use a cleaning service. But in my experience, cleaning services "clean at" to leave the appearance of clean and over time the cleanliness will diminish, as is the same for hotels. The added benefit to this stay rather than a hotel is the use of a full kitchen. We stayed for a week and we were able to prepare our own food. We have a vegan diet and not too many restaurants can cater to our lifestyle. It was also very cold in the place, the A/C was set to 71 (I think) and we had to go out and purchase sweaters. When we turned the A/C up a few degrees, we noticed it more humid inside and decided to keep the temp where it was. It was on the 3rd floor, but we took it as great exercise, when coming and going. Tiredness came the 6 trips, when we got there, to bring all of our stuff up the stairs. Recommended stay if the cold, stairs and lack of clean-clean is not a bother to you. Our overall trip was a lot of fun. Thank you to the hosts for the accommodations and their quick responses to e-mail.

Great Location and Host

The location is nice with a few block walk to the beach, on property access to pools/tennis and bike racks for bikes. Pros: Kitchen, balcony seating, facilities, wash/dryer, location and host. Cons: master bath is a little small and the third floor location could be difficult for some. We had a nice stay and found the host easy to work with.

Great location, close to beach!

My husband and I stayed for the month of May and had a wonderful time, The location can’t be beat, very walkable to the beach. Easy bike path access to the rest of the island. The unit had all the necessities, and was very quiet. Would stay again!

Beach Time

We had a fantastic visit at Fiddlers Cove. It is very close to Folly Field Beach. Less than a 10 minute walk with a private access to the beach. Not a very crowded place for family to spread out and enjoy the beach. Once your done with the beach you can go back to the villa and enjoy 2 pools and hot tub too, as well as a club house. We had a very nice condo that had smart key access, making it very easy to check in to the condo. Condo was fully furnished and stocked with everything that we need for the 2 weeks. A very beachy theme place! The host are great! Easy to communicate with and reply promptly!

Great Location.

Condo is nicely located close (5 minutes) to beach and to other HHI amenities (restaurants, shopping, golf courses). The Fiddler's Cove complex has several tennis coursts and two pools. Unfortunately, the larger pool was closed for repairs for most of our stay. Older renters should be aware that the condo is on the 3rd floor and that there is no lift. It could use some updating (flushing mechanism in one toilet and both shower turn-ons need repair, new living room furniture would be nice, and some oven-proof pyrex cookware would help.) These items would have been less of an issue if we hadn't been staying for 6 weeks, and shouldn't detract from our overall positive feelings about our stay. We liked the Fiddler's Cove complex and location very much and would stay there again.

Relaxing Villa

The villa was exactly as described - lovely and immaculately clean. Fiddlers Cove is a lovely neighborhood area, an easy walk to the most wonderful beach and an easy drive or bike ride to all activities. The owner responded immediately to questions and accommodated a few special requests easily. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Exactly as advertised

Property was exactly as advertised. Everything went well. Clean and comfortable. Absolutely no issues, from communication with owner to check in at guard shack.
