The house sits high up in the cool Ponderosa Pines. You will feel like you are in a treehouse! With a wall of picture windows, you can look out and feel lost in the forest with a great view of Sierra Blanca Mountain. Have a morning coffee or glass of wine out on the deck and enjoy sunrises and sunsets. There are 2 identical bedrooms which can easily accommodate 2 families. Each room has its own attached bathroom with 1 queen bed and a twin bunk bed with a pull out trundle. An extra half bath is also available. Get cozy with a nice blanket and sit by the fireplace. A complete and stocked kitchen is ready for you to cook your favorite meals. A washer and dryers is also onsite for you to use at your convenience. So come by, stay a while and enjoy our favorite mountain town.

Beds and couches were comfortable. House was clean and nicely arranged. Mountain view from windows and deck was great. Host was helpful in answering any questions. House is in a quiet area, easy to get to street.

Spent the weekend at the “Cubhouse” was clean, quite, peaceful, well taken care of. Will continue to use the cabin for up coming weekend getaways. 10/10 highly recommended.

The house was great!! The views were amazing! My family and I really enjoyed the amount of space we all had. Our host was very attentive and answered all questions we had! This would definitely be a home we would visit again.

Bonnie’s Ruidoso cabin was amazing! Bonnie was an excellent communicator before and during check-in. Their cabin not only had a beautiful view of the mountains, was in a great location, but it was the cleanest rental we have ever rented. We saw elk, mule deer, and wild horses. We will definitely rent this cabin again next trip to Ruidoso and recommend it to any family traveling there.

Great cabin

Cabin was spotless and very comfortable with a great view off the back deck. Owner easy to communicate with in regards to check in. Hope to stay here again in the future.

We’ve stayed in several places in Ruidoso but this was the best! Location, cleanliness and everything was spot on! The view was spectacular, neighborhood was quiet, a great location to walk around! We will definitely stay here from now on!The owners communicated with us several times to see how things were.All around great place to stay!

Great place

Place is really nice and clean. The owner is super friendly and easy to communicate with. The whole family loved it. Would totally recommend this place to friends and family.

Great view!

Great place! Very clean and very quiet with a great view of the mountains. Great location as well - you can be fishing in Alto lake or ordering breakfast at The Log Cabin Restaurant in less than 10 minutes!

We enjoyed the home, the back patio view, plenty of room and well maintained. Bonnie was very responsive and informative. The added Christmas tree was a wonderful touch to the Christmas spirit!

Great stay, incredible view, house was neat and very clean. Easy access instructions for property from Host. Great location for quick to and from Ski Apache. Ideal for adult couples or a family with kids. Layout accommodates both well. Not a party place. Highly recommended and I will seek to stay again in the future.

I would recommend this to family and friends, the home was cozy but spacious and very clean, the view was beautiful and our deer friends came to visit each night. Easy access to main highway to get to other destinations. Definitely will rent again next trip to Ruidoso! The owners were always available if needed.

What a view!

This house was set up to admire the view. Huge windows overlooking the deck. Lots of trees, mountain, and wildlife to help you relax. The location was very convenient as well. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Peaceful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay.at 2 Cubs Cottage. The location was far enough from the town center to be peaceful, but close enough to have easy access to everything we needed. House was clean on arrival and well stocked. The deck is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and offers a nice view with some likely wildlife sightings. Would definitely return in the future if we're back in Ruidoso.

After that, we realized staying in hotels was expensive and impractical. We decided to build a mountain home and have loved every second of the planning and moving in.
