Spend Your Summer in the Cool Pines with a great mountain view!

The house sits high up in the cool Ponderosa Pines. You will feel like you are in a treehouse! With a wall of picture windows, you can look out and feel lost in the forest with a great view of Sierra Blanca Mountain. Have a morning coffee or glass of wine out on the deck and enjoy sunrises and sunsets. There are 2 identical bedrooms which can easily accommodate 2 families. Each room has its own attached bathroom with 1 queen bed and a twin bunk bed with a pull out trundle. An extra half bath is also available. Get cozy with a nice blanket and sit by the fireplace. A complete and stocked kitchen is ready for you to cook your favorite meals. A washer and dryers is also onsite for you to use at your convenience. So come by, stay a while and enjoy our favorite mountain town.

Excelente servicio!

Maravillosa experiencia al visitar Ruidoso. La estadía en la propiedad fue excelente, Excelente recibimiento, Canasta con detalles, (Gracias!) información del los lugares para conocer en el ares, las reglas del propietario. La casa muy limpia, muy acogedora muy buen gusto de decoración, buen olor, Decoración Navideña, este detalle hizo aún más placentera la estadía. Nos tomamos muchas foto con el pino de Navidad. tenia todo lo necesario para mi y mi familia. La recomiendo 100%. Excelente comunicación con los propietarios, muy amables y pacientes, cometimos un error con la chimenea aún así ellos fueron comprensivos y aún con esto fueron súper amables. (Espero aver sido un buen inquilino) Muchas gracias Bonnie me encantó tu servicio. Espero regresar pronto. God bless you!

What a view!

This house was set up to admire the view. Huge windows overlooking the deck. Lots of trees, mountain, and wildlife to help you relax. The location was very convenient as well. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Peaceful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay.at 2 Cubs Cottage. The location was far enough from the town center to be peaceful, but close enough to have easy access to everything we needed. House was clean on arrival and well stocked. The deck is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and offers a nice view with some likely wildlife sightings. Would definitely return in the future if we're back in Ruidoso.

Excellent all around!

Convenient location. Beautiful inside and lovely deck views. We appreciated the thoughtful details such as a bedside noise machine (not needed as it was very quiet), two kinds of coffee makers, and footstools for the couches. Best communication with owners we’ve ever experienced. Personal, responsive and kind. We will try to book this property first any time we return to the area.

Amazing Experience

Family memories were definitely made on this trip. Check in was easy! This place is the perfect location to ALL activities, and gives you the quietness and breath taking views your mind and heart needs. Communication was great with the home owners!! Their recommendations for family fun were on point. We will definitely be returning for more memories to be made.

Beautiful Home!

We enjoyed our stay at 2 Cubs, the house was clean and offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The scenery sitting on the deck was amazing. Communication was excellent and we loved the welcome bag. I highly recommend!

A Beautiful Scenic View

This property exceeded my expectations in so many ways! The view was gorgeous, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, and so much more. We were actually snowed in for a bit during our stay, and it couldn't have been cozier!

Our family started coming to Ruidoso 18 years ago. After having children we continued coming. It took one ski trip with our little ones and they were hooked! After that, we realized staying in hotels was expensive and impractical. We decided to build a mountain home and have loved every second of the planning and moving in.
